KE is much cheaper, a little bit slower but really much better printer. This V3 version can't do perfect first layer as KE can, has much harder way of loading filament, spool is on the side so when extruder goes up it pulls filament and when it goes down it just pushes that filament under the bed or around cables. On V3 you can adjust z offset only when print is in progress and you will have to adjust it because bed is uneven (not only on my printer, i see videos of other people having issues with it but saying it's amazing printer). Also on this printer if you are sending gcode files directly from your pc and after one file is done printing, printer will lose connection for some reason so sometimes you can't send other one until you reset connection. Only good things about V3 are looks and good screen, really KE is better for everything else.
I truly do believe this and the 3 V3 SE and KE are extremely good printers. The price is amazing, and if they would make an adapter similar to the Bambu A1, for multi color, then it would be just as good if not better. I have not had 1 print fail on my V3 SE and have never seen issues with the KE when i have used it. I would suggest this or the others mentioned as ANYONES initial printer. IT JUST WORKS REQLLY WELL.
This printer is a really good upgrade compared to the KE, the only reason you should buy the KE is if you have a tight budget, they are both very reasonable printers, Hope this helps:)
I’ve been doing a lot of research Sam and even though I have the K-1 and the K-1 Max and the SE im holding off to get the V3. It looks like an outstanding printer, a game changer in the 3-D printing industry.
Thanks. Trying to find replacement parts just in case as I've just bought a v3 and google isn't keen on separating the v3 from the other variants. I assume it's because it's fairly new buy man those nozzle replacements are expensive compared to regular nozzles.
After having recently purchased a K1 (and have been utterly disappointed with the lack of reliability and a plethora of issues plaguing my unit), my next printer purchase will most likely be the Ender 3 V3 Core XZ machine (but I would strongly recommend that one wait about 6 months or more until all of the initial bugs are worked out of the machine as there will inevitably be several "fixes" in the form of new releases in the upcoming future). Until then, I'll stick with my trusty & reliable original Ender 3.
According to your review, im still not convinced that this v3 is better then the CR10Se, at same price point, and as durable and less tinker printer. Have you rooted the cr10se and does it make a real diference if rooted?
@@TheRealSamPrenticei bought CR-10 SE as it price at $284. Not at $399/349. Only on that case it's worth more than V3 . But if at the same price v3 will outsell fast.

@@Not-Einstein-61 I returned it after it arrived and didn't manage to test it. I went with this V3 CoreXZ and i love it. Lots of meaningful firmware updates.
Due to price of Ender 3 V3, I would buy the K1 when you can find it in the $399 or less cost range. That is about 200 cheaper than K1C. I believe the Ender 3 v3 would be more interesting of a choice if it had a price point of around $299:)
Thanks Sam, I have been waiting for s review of this one as im still after a workhorse for the workshop to replace my ageing workhorses while my Max does the bigger stuff.
It doesn’t really work like that, max speed is around the 600mms mark but there are factors where the print will need to slow down, on the test print the long path will be 600 but the movement around the shapes will be half
@TheRealSamPrentice, nothing too fancy, just random things and maybe some cool gadgets and some somewhat large things. I also want something high quality that will last me 2+ years. I also care about speed but the difference from 500mm to 600 mm/s won't make a difference to me. Decent quality is a must and not too much ghosting or ringing. Also hands free leveling is super important. Thanks 🙂
Definitely too many Ender 3 printers, hahaha. They should have called this the Ender XZ or something for sure. That said, seems like a solid printer overall. Just not sure the kinematics actually offer a major advantage over all the other bed slingers. Also hard to pay near $400 for this when something like the Flashforge Adventurer 5M has been going for $300 or even less with some coupons. Nice quick review!
Outstanding review. For almost the same price the Bambu Lab A1 offers 38% more volumen AND the option of multi material, but to me it's actually the option to let the AMS to change filament when current filament run out it's more appealing, I do have a KE and it's a good tinkerer machine and it's miles behind an A1, specially in the amount of plastic parts the KE has. I got the KE because the A1 was actually recalled... Anyway the CoreXZ looks promising, to me Creality should create (at least) a filament run out tool.to keep the printer running (if not a full multi material system) to be competitive with Bambu Lab... My next printer definitely an A1.
Well i have a 2pro and i am eager to see a v3 2pro. As at the moment both X&E bowden motors are on the counter arm adding weight and print quality is maxed at 250/300mm/s. With the new xz it would go above and beyond as it would reduced wobble and weight and far superior wire management. To be able to have speed the XZ setup cuts off weight to centralise mass and to reduce whiplash to retain quality with faster speeds.
Again when the safety issues have been resolved the a1 is a star! Also I’ve reviewed that printer and the a1 mini on this channel and I think they are great!
what do you think of this printer for practical use prints and for robotics. especially for beginners, as I may just cut cost else where to be able to afford something like this.
I think it offers a good balance for both, if you go core xy I’ve found that from time to time the accuracy changes. The i3 style like the v3 seems to be a good choice over all. At least from my time using it
Print quality doesnt look all that great for the price. I just sent my Bambu A1 back in the recall and it was producing better quality prints for the same price. I think I'm just going to wait till they fix the A1 and use the discount they gave me to get another. This printer is a bit dissappointing.
