The Anchor is my favorite weapon in the game BEFORE the DLC and now it's even better! Seriously, I love how it looks so much. I wish more games had cool weapons like it.

@@WreakHvok Yup. Corpse piller used to be a stagger machine (along with Transient moonlight) and you could easily stagger bosses from afar with it while doing insane damage. Not anymore. Even when you hit with the blade as well, it doesn't have the stance damage it once had (while Moonveil still does). For most base game bosses staggers were just a play style you could choose, but it wasn't really necessary for most bosses (there are exceptions) if you went with all out damage. But with how aggressive dlc bosses are, staggers are pretty much required now to get in damage or heals. So weapons or AoW that do great stagger are much more useful now. I think that's why they gutted the bubble longhorn, it had great damage and stagger, plus it's a great hammer. The thing is a shell of the weapon that carried me through most of my 14 NG cycles 😢

@@WreakHvok I wouldn't say that RoB sucks or ever sucked by any means lol. Cleared the whole DLC without summons using RoB with 50-60 arcane, and I honestly thought the weapon was very strong. All that without a proper build with the sets, tears and incantations that actually make the build broken. Personally, I don't think that bleed builds needs stagger, since bleeding is already the most broken thing in this game even without it.
It doesn't affect any AoW, no matter how you hold the weapon when you're doing it. It only affects R1 and R2 attacks when you're holding the weapon with both hands. Try it out and see, but everyone knows it doesn't work.

If you want really want to bully radahn: thick armour, fingerprint shield, antspur rapier with poison affinity and seppuku. Bleed, poison and scarlet rot his ass to death with pokes, never even dropping your guard.
you can make the ash of war for the marais executioner sword much higher by leveling arcane, the magic buffs don't seem to increase out that much more in my testing
Only slightly. It’s a lot like the meteoric colossal sword the way the damage is split with magic but it’s so minor. This sword really can hit crazy numbers tho

@@andrewhernandez1014 I never got over 6k on a full ash but I only use golden vow and fgms for buffs. Then two handed tal, Alexander’s , axe, and blade of mercy for after critical the big damage. Then charge attack tear and opaline tear. I got bigger number off a dash or first part of ash into a charged heavy if I had time. I could do bigger numbers that way. But I had 66 strength 80 arcane and then like 20 Dex as well actually just because I was pretty high level when I was using it. Full rakashas and just use sword to block if I’m gonna take damage. Would use deflect tear and maybe change around a little if I could get timing down a little better or had better guard counter windows. But can also use spear talisman for the charged heavy’s with it being a poke but they were always staggered so didn’t proc very often. But I did full ash for quick burst and the first part into bigger damage charged heavy’s when I could and after stance breaks and Crit even more damage for both. Charged heavy’s just did more by a bit for me. Like a good bit few k. After procs I could hit for 8-10k on a dash into charged heavy with everything firing but never over 6k on ash but it was faster for sure. But also full ash into full charged heavy man crazy stuff if you pull it off.
If you have to add multiple pieces of armor with passive damage benefits and several other buffs, it isn’t really fair to call the weapon you are using overpowered 😂 I appreciate your videos though, you guys always show me things I didn’t know with some weapons.
Guys if u wanna have some fun in from games, just try do find ur own build testing weapons, sorceries and incantations. Trust me this is the better way to play soulslike.
I think Rellanas stuff needs a buff. The stance talisman sounds cool until you try to use it. Standing still for 2-3 seconds is almost a death sentence in the dlc. You don't need it against most mobs, but the harder enemies and bosses are way too fast and aggressive for you to ever really use it. Imo it shouldn't have a timer or make it 1 second at most. And her light GS look cool, but unless you have a level 300-350 or higher build, they're mid at best. For normal moveset, 2 Milady's are way better and can be infused to whatever you want. For AoW, SoNAF is MUCH better, especially the Magic part. She's one of the coolest bosses in ER but her stuff is really disappointing. Same goes for Miquella's power bottom.
The talisman really depends on the build and your play style and solid timing. I had no problem with it on the bosses. But I did mainly use it for stances with good gap closer, long range, and good counters if you time it. For example miladys stance heavy is a good long range gap closer that combos into the stances light. It is not good for every stance weapon but there are some that take full advantage.
Someone who used it after 2022. The thing's been gutted harder that a Honda Civic in a chop shop. It used to do crazy stance damage with its AoW while pumping out lots of damage. Now even if you hit with the sword, it doesn't do anywhere near the stance damage it used to. That's what made it so OP. You could easily stagger a boss from middle range by using the AoW projectile.

Level up arcane. That's where the bleed build up is. More arcane = more damage.

Two-handed talisman works with the skill square off. You don't even have to hold it two-hande, holding the skill does it automatically.

How to know if the builds shown are actually good: Check how many buffs they have when testing damage.
Magma Blade, any strength or faith build I always end up using it the most even over blasphemous.
You can always guard counter with a weapon but the tear makes it stronger
