I've had this same bass in a flat black that for at least 10 years and I think I paid around 500 bucks for it. It's become my daily driver over some WAY more expensive basses I own. I've played live with it countless times and it will do just about everything I need it to. The only issue I had was one of the strap locks kept failing. Cheap fix. Wish I bought 2 of these things!

The Warwick I enjoyed most out of all I have tried was a Rockbass line fretless. I actually think the maple and alder setup on this bass sounds better than a lot of the german made stuff. I dont support using chinese factories but I guess thats how the world operates these days. Just hope its an adult workforce that is taken care of.

Aparently it has something to do with the preamp, that kicks the treble gain so much that it drops a lot of hiss, annoying sound. Maybe replacing the preamp for a new one?
Honestly speaking man it's a bass that you'll never regret at all I own a higher class model and honestly these Rockbasses sound just ask Amazing not good Amazing so if you get one your getting the best instrument money can buy and the greatest product out there in the market Cheers

I just bought this exact bass brand new and the neck pick up is noticeably less loud than the bridge pick up. Is this on purpose or is there something wrong with my bass?
Hi there, are there any cons on turning one of these into fretless? I know the fretboard is made of rosewood, so I want to know what would be the better option to turn it into a freteless. Regards
+Norbert Leal If I understand you correctly, what you want is a fretless bass, but with a rosewood fingerboard, is that right? Because taking the frets off of an instrument is typically a bad idea. If you want a fretless bass, it's typically a better idea to order it that way
I think they make a fretless version of this bass, but I could be wrong. If not, do some research. It's totally possible to convert a fretted bass to fretless. I did it to my Fender jazz, and it's awesome. A lot of work, but awesome. But yeah, there is one big con - you risk ruining the bass if you don't know what you're doing or aren't skilled enough with the tools required.
It sounds a lot like my German Corvette standard. The slight difference I would chalk up to the different body woods. I'm thinking about getting one of these for a backup and for gigs in rough neighborhoods/dive bars.

Nice one - though I prefer passive - always run out of battery when not needed :-) Carbon-neutral production is nice - but there is no climate change due to too much Co2. That is just a bit of a money maker.

No, all RB (except Fortress) got generic electronics. Fortress got same german MEC 2-band electronics.
