DIY Shiplap Headboard | 5 Week Countdown to Baby #3

We have our new headboard in and our bedroom is finally complete! We shopped and shopped but couldn't find a bed or headboard we liked, but I'm so glad we waited...Because now we have one we love. If you are interested in building your own headboard, I hope this helps.

But my husband decided to do his own version using actual shiplap. Below is a list of the supplies you'll need if you want to recreate ours.
For reference, our bed is king size.
Supplies needed:
4 - 1"x6"x8'
2 - 1"x3"x8'
10 - 8' shiplap boards
1 - 9' crown molding
1 1/4" screws
3/8" screws
Caulk
Paint (we chose a semi gloss)
