I’ve had people tell me the command strip tears paint from the walls
you can also buy furniture overlays to do that. I am doing that for some old crappy closet doors. hope it works
command strips have to be pulled exactly in a very specific way or youre screwed. And if the pulling thing rips off, which happens a lot, you are also screwed and end up with a ruined wall. but when it works, its great@@sweetmslovinglife

Just found your channel,and I love how you find and use thrifty materials. This is the issue I've always had with most diy videos because if I'm going to spend 100's in materials,why am I making it myself instead of just buying the items? Thank you! As someone who was a single parent with almost no budget for decor, I wish I had access to UA-cam back then, but it didn't exist.. once you've been strapped for cash for so long, it's so hard to justify spending so much money on items when I can make them myself so a fraction of the cost.

You can buy furniture overlays..you dont have to use dividers.. There are companies that will laser cut any pattern you want and mail it. Then you can glue it on
