When you are outnumbered significantly it may be wise to deploy with the intention of inflicting early casulties - but maybe not. In that scenario I would have put as many MG's into the strongpoint, and worried about the infiltration arround the flanks later. If there was one.
I've got a box of WGA Germans to build someday and looking forward to seeing the rules (if I can ever get in a game!) I'd play this scenario just for the cheeky title (if it was a WWII scenario, it would turn into a Ballroom Blitzkrieg)
Nice looking and absorbing game - always like seeing your WW1 stuff!
Thank you!
Interesting and exciting game.
Cheers!

@@raycarpenter6466 thank you!
Great game and looked a great scenario for a club night game :)
Cheers Aled, yeah, it would work very well
The patrol phase still blows my mind especially with an attack and defend scenario surely the defenders deployment points are fixed 😕
That's the point of the Patrol Phase, to ensure you get your starting positions into a good place to either attack from or defend from.
So the big question is are you now amending your WW1 chain of command to be version 2 CoC
Well, I'm waiting for Richard to stop rewriting the drafts of V.2 first...
