I love how Jevil is portrayed as completely bonkers in this version. Most versions give him some hidden undertone, or some ulterior motive, but this is just him killing and having the time of his life.

This idea is brilliant. Jevil having the power to reset after his sanity being broken because of what WD Gaster's words is really clever.
Forgot to mention that Jevil figuring out that he can messing with the safe files of the world after knowing thst his reality is a game is something that Jevil would do. Great idea for a song and storytelling.

If you think about it... Jevil is correct... One of the most common theory is that the universe will collapse back to a single point and start again... Looping again... Possibly including time...

I love the idea of Jevil being able to reset. also, Kris being the only one to figure this out, presumably because they're both human and the player character, and Relsei and Susie having no clue what they're talking about is also a nice detail.
This is definitely my favorite lyrical version of "the World Revolving" and is the definitive version as far as I'm concerned-whenever I listen to the original I can't help but hear these lyrics in my head. And that bit at 5:33 is legendary.
I know he doesn't, but that time when he says "your world is revolving" it really sounds like he says "your world is _evolving,"_ and I quite like the sound of that.
Aight I've got a lot to say on this video, some good, some bad, so strap in kiddos!
First, the good!
The voice of Jevil in this is different than a lot of other takes out there. Definitely fits the same labels you'd usually put on a Jevil impression, high, coming more from the throat, bouncy, chaotic, etc. But it brings a new feel in the inflection and voice itself, its VERY reminiscent of Rob Paulsen, the same way Juno's Spamton is very Gilbert Gottfried adjacent. Don't know how intentional that was, but who doesn't like Rob Paulsen? So it was fun nonetheless. Plus, the actual singing is very good too. Great control on the VAs part, especially on the falsetto jump at 2:36 and 6:10. That kind of drop from falsetto to head/chest voice (and vice versa) is very hard to pull off while sounding good. The art all looks great, I especially love each member of the Fun Gang defending against a different pattern/type of attack, instead of it all being one kind. And the ever-switching art styles adds to the chaos of the context and character in a positive way. As someone who has watched over 30 different "The World Revolving With Lyrics" videos, this one still manages to stand out style-wise and lyric-wise, the parts that do rhyme are good and clever rhymes, and everything for the most part feels in character. I especially like "The world's revolving around you" to signify how Kris is the protagonist and the story can't really happen without their soul, while naturally giving lip service to the track title. I have to thank you for not opting to just throw a bunch of moving junk and overlapping lyrics on the screen to try and emulate chaos where there is none. Too many people think "If I have disorienting transitions, moving art, and a bunch of voices singing on top each other, then I'll be as good as MOTI!" and it just ends up hurting the final product.
Now for the bad.
I should specifiy all of this comes from a place of constructive criticism, as well as discussion of a nuanced character, rather than just trying to tear people down. So first off, I'm just going to say it. This video didn't need to be 7 minutes long. It, to a point, feels like you're milking it for the sole purpose that this is the most popular Chapter 1 song. I can tell that y'all were trying your best to make not feel like 7 minutes, with new dialogue, art, etc. But the song itself and repeated lyrics/ideas start to get grating the third time around. The slight variations and added chorus alleviate it a bit, but not by much. I said in the good section that when the lyrics rhyme, they're clever and not forced. But the problem is that like a quarter of the time, they aren't rhyming. Not enough for it to be a major problem (I've sat through entire 20+ minute packages and 'musicals' where there were like 10 rhymes overall), but its still enough to be distracting.
Now here comes the part where I rant about Deltarune lore. Have fun. The decision to give Jevil the ability to reset and break the 4th wall not only breaks the story, but is a way less interesting way to take the character. I'm not even going to get into the story half of this, as that'd turn into its own essay, I'll just focus on how its the less interesting choice. Within the community, there are two ways that people mainly interpret the phrase "I can do anything!" Firstly, is the way you seemed to have taken it. "I can do anything" is taken at face value. Jevil is so powerful that he can, or thinks he can literally do anything. Which is not only easily disprovable, it makes for a boring character. The other way the phrase is taken is a lot deeper, and connects better with the other secret boss in Spamton. Jevil knows that life is meaningless (because they're all just objects, the dark worlds aren't real, the roaring is coming, they're in a timeloop, all choices lead to the same outcome, or whatever other theory you subscribe to) and because life is meaningless, choice is meaningless. So instead of it being "I can literally do anything with my magic!" It's now "I can do whatever I want, because nothing matters! Consquences are irrelevant when it all ends the same anyway!" An optimistic take on nihilism. Which is a way cooler and deeper way to take the character.
Overall, this is a good take on TWR With Lyrics! A little too long, and a little too face value, but it was still fun! Y'all seem to be back to uploading somewhat more consistently, so I look forward to seeing what comes next!

With the whole “story breaking” point, I completely agree that it messes up the main story, but our version is more of an interlude that doesn’t actually happen within our musical. The idea (before we scrapped actually recording a full musical) was too make this section an elevator malfunction, which spurs the Jevil interaction before cutting back as if nothing happened. This, of course, doesn’t translate cleanly to an individual release, so it seems confusing lore wise.
I just wanted to clarify because I never get to talk about the behind the scenes of the writing process (pls don’t kill me Mr. Director 👀) and is one of my favorites I’ve worked on.
TL;DR this fight doesn’t actually happen in our version and is just some ~ChAoS~ cause it’s a great track

It's actually my very favorite parts of the whole song, funnily enough.
I found my new favorite World Revolving cover! This feels like a musical number and the performances that everyone did was very well done! Plus I feel like this captures what it felt like to fight Jevil the first time. Again great job everyone!

In a world where entertainment reigns supreme, Sir Edward, hailing from a long line of performers, carries a secret within him. Beneath his charming exterior lies the existence of two distinct spirit personalities that can take control of him at random intervals.
One of these spirit personalities is known as Tragedy, embodying deep sorrow, melancholy, and a touch of darkness. The other spirit personality is Comedy, representing lightheartedness, wit, and an uproarious sense of humor.
Sir Edward’s father, recognizing his son’s talent, proposed a grand show for him to showcase his skills. However, during the pinnacle of the performance, tragedy struck. The intense struggle between these two instinctive spirit personalities led to a disastrous transformation in Sir Edward’s demeanor. In a desperate attempt to regain control, Tragedy and Comedy manifested their own physical bodies, separate from Sir Edward’s, causing chaos and confusion.
At the end of the ill-fated show, filled with disappointment and frustration, Sir Edward’s father, unable to comprehend the situation, disowned him. Left alone and adrift, Sir Edward’s self-confidence waned, and he found himself in the depths of despair.
It is during this dark period of his life that a mysterious figure wearing a hood with small flaps and bearing three lines on their body, arms, and legs-a manifestation of their veins-crosses his path. Known as the Shadow Lord, this enigmatic being, made of smoke and shadow, solidified only by their mask, recognizes Sir Edward’s potential and invites him to join their nefarious team, the Hive of the Council of Madness.
Both Tragedy and Comedy, yearning for a sense of purpose and belonging, agree to the Shadow Lord’s proposition. With their acceptance, they are granted new identities-The Performer and The Masquerade. It is important to note that the Performer and the Masquerade are two aspects of the same character, Sir Edward.
The Hive of the Council of Madness, a malevolent group of individuals, becomes their new home, where they unleash their combined powers. The Performer/the Masquerade finds themselves entangled in battles against external adversaries and internal conflicts, all while grappling with the unpredictable shifts between Tragedy and Comedy.
As the Performer/the Masquerade fights to maintain control and navigate the chaos within, their true strength lies in the mystery surrounding their shifting personalities. No one can anticipate which spirit personality will emerge, keeping both allies and enemies on edge.
