Aliens is a 1986 American science fiction action horror film written and directed by James Cameron, produced by Gale Anne Hurd, and starring Sigourney Weaver, Carrie Henn, Michael Biehn, Paul Reiser, Lance Henriksen, William Hope, and Bill Paxton. It is the sequel to the 1979 film Alien and the second installment in the Alien franchise. The film follows Weaver's character Ellen Ripley as she returns to the planet where her crew encountered the hostile Alien creature, this time accompanied by a unit of space marines.

This comic was a masterpiece, the story and the art were top notch. For me, it's up there with Watchmen and DKR.

If Ridley Scott wasn't at war with Camerons sequel, hellbent on retconning the series into a dark self important and frankly mean spirited set of sequels/prequels. There might be room for a slightly less bleak scifi action over pure dark horror. Thank goodness for comics

after reading this series i had nightmares. seeing the alien being on earth and the idea of billions of people dying and being breed was a mind fuck. then in the end...we humans did not just lose a home but the whole planet. it shook me to the core.
In post-Alien 3 reprints and novelizations of this story arc, Hicks and Newt are replaced by two new characters that essentially serve the same roles, named Wilks and Billie respectively. Ripley is also replaced by an android copy of herself.

This is all pretty much taken from Alien:Earth Wars comics. Alien Theory channel did great narrations of all of them with pics if anyone's interested. Plus a few others and Predator, AvP.

Any armour piercing, incendiary round, 12 gauge shotgun shell or large caliber handgun .44 magnum or .50 magnum round can kill an alien. They are just smaller versions of those bugs from Starship Troopers, except they have acid for blood.

They do, in a couple of the comics and novels they have various ways to wipe out xenos. In one novel they have tachikomas that have darts that dissolve the xeno's blood once they're hit with it, thousands of these tachikomas are launched at once to clear whole planets. In another they have mech suits similar to firebats with built in chainsaws and gatling guns that wipe out nests almost single handedly.
I hate to state this but in your favorite scene Hicks doesn't scream out "Marines we are leaving". It's actually "Drake we are leaving". I found this out when I watched the movie with subtitles.

Predators don't exist in the Alien universe and AvP is shit. No one cares about that dumb crossover except for stupid kids with shitty tastes.
My parents bought me this comic when I was a kid. Being artistic, I loved it for the artwork and didn't really have a mind for stories being told at the time.
I AM SO PUMPED to have the story told alongside the artwork I loved growing up! I am very excited for the next video :-)
