That mythical baby joke almost killed me. Tosh's ability to go deeper into an offensive joke that has you laughing before you get "offended" is really unmatched.
That's the skill - get people laughing, go darker, keep them laughing... and then suddenly remind them just what they are laughing at. Evil genius.

Pretty sure a large portion of the comedy community doesn’t like tosh. He’s been accused of stealing a lot of jokes.
@@nickcarew Pretty sure none of that is true and it also has nothing to do with it. What Daniel Tosh has said multiple times and Joe Rogan himself has shared this story, that Tosh will never do any podcast since he's on TV constantly and doesn't feel the need to over expose himself.

Daniel Tosh was that nerd in highschool you laughed at when he said he would become famous.
Daniel Tosh went to high school in my hometown lol (Titusville, FL ...it’s near the Space Center). Our rival school, Astronaut. I only know/knew a few people old enough to be in HS at the same time as him, but no one ever even claimed to be friends with him, haha. It’s all like “yeah he was really quiet and just hung around with this one friend of his; they’d joke around in class but no one heard what he was saying.” No one even remembered his friend’s name. So yeah he was definitely a major introvert in high school, otherwise you KNOW people would be totally exaggerating their “friendship” with him.

Man I used to really hate this guy but the more you listen to him and the more you see what his act is all about you *have* to give it to him - he is outstanding at putting just one toe over the line.

tims_always_fishing not tryna sound like a hater, cuz I like Schultz too, but his act is pretty much only solid when he’s doing crowd work. His actual material is kinda weak in my opinion . Tosh on the other hand is up there with some of the greats

Saw him live in Buffalo, NY for the 9/11 Joke. The only joke that didn’t land and he STILL turned the crowd on their head and told them to chill. Tosh doesn’t play that “I’m offended” shit, and I loved it.
