We too have a love hate with the cushions. We have some folks 20 mins north from us who make wedge campers Snap Treehouse. Love how thier sleep platform is on hydraulics. Plus they have an open 30" crawl space at end with a mini ladder. Great design.

I have a GFC also. I think the more and more I use/move the bed platform, the more I love it. I always thought it would be nice to have the "push up" floor like in some or the "slide" platform like Vagabond + SP....but now I see how useful and vertisle the GFC actually is. I've worked on one side as a "stand up" desk which is awesome.

Glad you enjoy the videos, the flat tailgate comes from Mountain Hatch, its the only company that has one for Nissan Frontiers, a bit expensive just to flatten out a tailgate (i'm sure you could DIY something) but the flat tailgate has been great for camping! I've seen some knock off ones like this amzn.to/3XnjNvP which is about $100 cheaper than Mountain Hatch

Ever think of bug screen on the side doors?. So much i have to buy for my setup...lol.

Did you ever build out the bottom? If I were to buy something like this I would like to use the bottom a lot relax in. Not sure about the room though. I’m 6’2” and wondered if I have enough room. Like the channel.
I will eventually build out the bottom to have a bench seat and some storage, my truck bed is a 5ft short bed so you being 6'2" may be a bit cramped lol
That's how I set up my GFC, except I moved one panel up top when I slept.

Just found a Titan XD lifted with a roof-top-tent included in the deal... really trying to resist and make a more adult choice...convince me otherwise😅
Oh damn! I'm Pro adult choices unless the truck is a good deal with low miles =p and RTTs can be pretty cheap ~$900 for the Smittybuilt ones so don't be too swayed by the included tent ;)
@@Kadenventures it is a good deal on the truck, extras aside. Just having trouble justifying the 5.0 diesel and all when it will be 95% driving to/ from work unencumbered 😅

Hey Steve! I made the curtains myself, just bought some fabric from Hobby Lobby and cut to size ($12). Then Super glued velcro ($5) to the edges to connect them to the truck, super cheap easy DIY :)

I dont but GFC does make a truck bed tropper (without the tent) and its very heavy duty
How do you watch movies without service? Do you have offline subscriptions? We just carry DVDs and iPad because we're cheap but there's gotta be a better way 😅
