    I think this applies to confronting the inner world too. I was out doing stuff but still had many chronic symptoms, it was my inner world I was afraid of and avoiding.

    I’ve been with low back pain for three years and just learned about BS /TMS a year ago… and I’ve learned to avoid, among other things, picking stuff off the floor. Yesterday, I decided to start trying to pick things off the floor but first visualising myself doing it easily. I dropped my glove in a cafe. So I took a minute to picture myself picking up the glove (feeling very scared/anxious as I did this) and when I opened my eyes, an employee passed by my table and picked up my glove for me 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 I breathed a sigh of relief I was so scared, because I know pain will spike for the rest of the day if I have to pick up something off the floor. It’s so scary to start and stay consistent!

    What about Chronic fatigue syndrome? I watched so many of your videos, and other on the same subject. But I feel like something more is going on. I know that part of my condition is related to tms or neuroplastic plain; but is cfs all about that? I don’t feel like I have the improvement I deserve after all these years of practicing the mind body approach (not perfectly for sure, but pretty consistently for period of times over the last years). Anyways, thank you very sincerely for your participation in my healing, in our healing;) Great job man!

    What do you think of tms treatment for repressed anger and nervous system dysfunction due to cptsd?

    • @fortune.
      @fortune. 3 місяці тому

      @@15ruksinn This is a really great question. I wish I could see a brain MRI before/after in a traumatized, dysregulated person. Although, repressed anger can be a choice whether we want to admit it or not. But unearthing it via talk therapy and/or EMDR could cause total adrenal failure, maybe even seizures from the intensity in some. Anger and resentments that have been buried become a part of the body. On a biological note, it's all very interesting and tragic. Wish you all the best in your life from one human to another 🌸

    • @thepainpt

      Yes that’s sensitization. Gradually and steadily expose yourself to these things while telling yourself they’re fine. Reduce any existing stress as that will help lower sensitivity

    Dear Jim, please can I ask your expert advice on my particular problem (of 30+ years 😫).
    Bladder pain comes on after emptying it, and lasts for hours. All started with a serious bladder infection and never got better. I have various "fixing" strategies, which work some of the time (like ice, cold water, cream on the area etc). I admit I'm "addicted" to these; I can't stand just experiencing the achey pain and taking no action.
    This is my question....Do you think I should literally go cold turkey and stop trying to fix the pain? I can't describe how impossible that feels!!!!! BTW I'm in no doubt now that it's neuroplastic.
    Thanks in advance and thanks for all your great videos 🙏❤
