Feelings are not facts! For me, one of the hardest lessons to learn in this journey. I appreciate you so much, Jim, your knowledge, compassion, and encouragement means a lot to me.
Thanks for this Jim. I know we talk about this a lot in our appointments but this weekend , when I told you that my husband has taken me away, has been a ride. ! Ive been doing lota of fun things but i have had sooo much pushback from my limbic brain. Its been up and down all weekend . Need this video to help me stay focus that I am ok , in the most difficult times.
Thank you so much Jim for this video, I have known about TMS for many years, and have been working on getting my brain to feel safe for the last few years..sometimes I feel stuck/plateaued..😔 I really needed to hear that last little snippet of the time it could take..🙏🏼
Drs scare me so much. I have been diagnosed with tms. I was doing great for years and suddenly can’t use left hand and arm. I’m being told I might have pinched nerve or tendon issue. I am trying to yell at my brain. Drs scare me. I thank you!!
Hi Jim, I think you will be able to reach a lot more new people if you include more context and detail in your titles and descriptions relevant to search’s.
7:58 💯 This is key. Friends who work in home care and nurses/MDs say feeling broken is common w/chronic pain and illness. Esp if they happen together and often do. I think it’s good to respect and allow emotions to just be vs resisting but as you say w/awareness they maybe not reality. Also value at times meeting others where they are emotionally vs trying to bring them up to where we are. Even w/best of intentions it can feel negating and dismissive when it’s not meant to.
Thank you so much for making this, for reminding us. Your voice is so calm. I love hearing you telling the truth: that’s is nothing wrong with the body. Thank you Jim! 😍
My feelings are too visceral even the awareness that I'm safe won't stop the shaking and tense feelings
Needed this reminder this morning. Ty Jim 😊
