- If you haven't seen it a hundred times already, this AI art program has been BLOWING UP all over social media. Upload a selfie or full body pic and get a pretty dang cool generated art image from it! But what if the AI app and I used the same reference photo to create an illustration - who would win?!
Don't mind that the app takes about 5 seconds and I took like 3,000x longer 😂

Yeah, it's almost like the AI used a filter.
The thing that A.I. art lacks, is creativity.
No soul or energy, you can’t teach that.👈🏿🫡

It's funny that you said it lacked creativity even though it literally shows creativity
Besides, AI cannot do anything without human art, so it's still just like all of us where we are inspired by arts from other people, that we create our own little thing,
That's the exact same thing as how a AI would be trained on many, many arts, just for the bot to be more creative and not be copwriting literally

Yah surez bur have some Ai app the make amazing draws.. and this is sux 😢
The AI can't make such conscious artistic choices like changing, exaggerating proportions, facial expressions, colors, lighting etc to make them more appealing / interesting than they were in the original photo.
The App changed my pretty brown eyes into blue ones though. 👀 Even though they are clearly brown. I was surprised lol It also made my lips fuller. So it does change things to make someone more appealing.
@@AllegraJina I'm not talking about such simple changes but just compare Ross' drawing to the AI one and analyze differences.

The artist always wins. There’s nothin like seeing a human being put time and effort into their craft. Plus it's not fair to call AI art the same as what humans make. Truthfully, anything can be art, because there are many different forms of it. LIke pottery, sculpting etc. But I find it disrespectfull when people say AI is the same as human creativity. It is a different form of art that is completely different with how humans create. It is the same as hand-made goods that are compared to factory materials, they simply aren't the same.
The speedrun is a proof that it's art.

The thing with A.I. art is that it misses a human touch that makes art so beautiful in my opinion.
So true 😔
I would say this defines the concept of art for ourselves, art should have its own background, concepts, sketches, experiments and formation. Of course, the development of AI promises many ruin, but it can also finally make us think about the true value of art.

Personally liked yours better, not just because of the knowledge that's handmade but because when someone does the art of course can decide what and what not to add to make it more appealing while the auto generated one had little details that weren't as aesthetic.
Being able to choose where to lead the eye into the image and on what focus details and stuff is not something a camera/filter does but the person behind it and- I don't know, love your art as always

I gotta be honest, gen z has absolutely destroyed the word "aesthetic" and I cannot look at that word without a negative feeling anymore
Also the style is just better lol, the AI just made the same picture but with paint haha
not only that, but his art is more lively! Also, the AIs art is "done" because it reached the capacity of it's capability. this dude's art is done because he thought that it's enough.
Not even gonna lie, the AI literally just traced the real image, gave no interesting lighting/shadows, and somehow made the real person look static and robotic (wonder why hmmmm?).
Very good work on yours. I love the expression, the background, the coloring and shading, the GORGEOUS highlights on her hair, ahh-- I just love it!
??? Why are people shittinf over ai? Obviusly it won't be as good as real art, but why people want to compete
@@sheryboom678 people are upset because AI uses the work of actual artists, who put actual time into their work, and copies it. No thought is put into it, no time is put into it(other than making the AI itself), and its downright just disrespectful towards the artists who don't want to be apart of this AI nonsense.
You can like AI, you can dislike AI, but there's always one fact that is almost impossible to disagree with; it'd be perfectly fine if it didn't take from artists who don't want to be apart of it. It's disrespectful and literally takes business away from people who actually care about what they're putting out, which isn't something AI can understand.
@@7secouds607 Uhm... What? That's not how AI works tho?
One ai learns what is art and what is not.
Then another that is randomly made, start to bump out images. They start as random noise, the AI that knows how art looks like, rewards or punishes the creating AI, until it learn to create propper images.
The images are only required so that the first AI knows what is and what is not. Even if we ban that, the second one will still be available.
@@sheryboom678 My brother in christ, there's literally people typing artists names in Art AIs and the AIs give result, and for that the AI need to search through the internet, take several arts of this creator without their consent and mash it all to create something ""new""
Also, the problem are not the AIS itself, they are a good experiment on the capabilities of ai. the problem is it feeding on artists and copying them+people using it to sell art that they did not even drew. and claiming the art "their own" that is both a disrespect to the AI creators and artists it fed on.
It is good for ai art standards but comparing it to man made artwork it just has no charming characteristics as the art style is just a traced form of the image itself
The artist one feels more alive while the ai just looks flat
Ai in my opinion could NEVER replace what a person can create! So much more life can be seen in the drawing! 🤩🤩
AI - lifeless
artist - warm and lively
You can just ask the AI to make warm and lively art. Instead of asking it to recreate a photo, you ask "recreate this selfie in a colorful and expressive style" and it does. you just have to know how to work around GPT.

HOW DO YOU MAKE SOMETHING LIKE THAT IN ONLY 4 HOURS AND A HALF?? that's the most mind blowing thing for me. That's barely enough time for me to block and choose the right colors xd
The most important Way to achieve that is to use good programs and the most important thing is to get the control as you control your hands, to control your tables and the program. And painting obviously.

How about add a third challenger…a purely practical artist. You know, pen, paint, canvas only. Even the “Pro Artist” here has half his work done with computer assistance.
In the 80s, I was a Graphic Artist for a Screen Printing company. Everything I did was with pen, ink, vellum, and cameras (to create the final images to be burned onto the mesh). I created corporate and private logos, t-shirt designs, banners, billboards, signs, basically anything you can think of. Even the curved letters on hats and Ts were done by hand, using protractors, rulers, and freehand much of the time.
In 1988, we paid $28k for a computer to assist in our imaging creation and of course storage, accounting, business management. I recall it was $150 for each new “text” we wanted to use. It was very useful in creating curved, dimensional, or warped lettering, and Clip Art was a big time saver, but overall, I still pretty much would freehand draw 80-90% of each finished image. Then scan the image and produce the final film for burning screens.
Creating a four color processed image, by hand, was an incredibly challenging task. Computers certainly helped in that aspect, but to me, the cost benefit never made sense. They spent what equaled 16 months of my salary to assist me in what I already did. Keep in mind this was the mid to late 80s, in SC, so we didn’t make much, lol.

OF COURES ITS GONNA BE THE ARTISTS WORK LIKE LITERALLY ALL THE DETAILS AND TEXTURES FOR 4 HOURD THAS JUS HARD WORK BOI ❤️
ofcourse artist! ai might be hard to code but also the coder had effort on that like how you draw!!
Definitely the artist , no doubt. No matter if any artist is not good enough to make better than AI but still that effort , that emotion means alot ✨
Pro artist wins hands down
Art takes time and effort, and the results pay off far more. The artist wins!
The 4 hour one has so much more than the ai one and litterally 10 times better so of course ya win!
Any art done by a human hand with blood sweat and tears is obviously the winner here.
LIKE BRO LOOK AT LEONARDO DA VINCI HE DRAWS LIKE A PRINTER-
@Steepshine • 핈 lol-
The art he made wins by a mile. Too bad that someone might have fed it to an AI machine already... This whole situation is just devastating for artists.
its actually becoming more and more devastating for AI devs rn, bcs of all the lawsuits and copyright claims. Commercially, AI is pretty much dead alrdy.
The art >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> AI
The clouds in ai art💀
The A.I.: "Oh, yeah you really beat me! By any chance can I examine it further?"
Thats the smartest joke i have ever seen.
No one can replace real artist's art
Thank you for helping spread the message of the importance and value of actual human artists. Brilliant work here, even disregarding the short amount of time it took for you to create this. Also, that drawing monitor you've got doesn't make me jealous... definitely not even a little.
The drawing is better than the ai, I love it
You! The real artist always win! 👨🎨 🎉
AI better back off! 😂

There are so many good “drawings” or “paintings” or “arts” coming from AI, which is amazing to say the least.
But I’d always prefer something that was made by another artist, not only because it is honsetly one of the thing that helped me to get connected with some new friends with the same interest! But also their sheer passion that they show while doing their artworks that captivated me with these art community! I could only wish to do the same.
And also to support another artist by commissioning them of course :D
Ive seen a few anime style generated stuff. While some of it looks good, often times there are errors here and there.
You won The moment you made that circle
def pro artist because u put time and effort for it while ai did it instantly also YOU ARE SO UNDERATTED
As good as ai art gets, it will never be as good as a real artist

Ai art should be a new tool for artists not a replacement. Never. Also your drawing looks amazing love it !
Whoever asked for AI to even do what it currently does _has_ no artistic talent. Fact is, real artists never needed, wanted or asked for AI.
Yours has the handmade look to it, ai doesn't have hands so it cant haha, real art will always be 🔛🔝!!!
Personally I think yours win as the person in your drawing actually looks alive
