Actualy, Lindsey was said "NO" In Got Talent, because her performance wasn't really that good. Jury were right telling her that her problem was the violin. Tho, they weren't right about that she'll never make it because later on, as she moved forward and practiced more she plays better than before. It is still not perfect what u can hear on live concerts but playing violin AND dancing is really really hard so i appreciate the good job.
Dini Stirlingite and honestly, they judged her at what was honestly not her best performance, but didnt give her another chance to show what she is truly capable of. They judged too quickly.

It was also really cool to see that none of them reacted negatively, so basically they all have brains and realize that what she does requires a ton of talent.
You ARE a ray of hope Lindsey! You've changed more than you think with your art and literally saved my life with Shatter Me. I was sinking and hitting rock bottom. To everyone, I had a good life, no reason to complain, but inside, I was empty, no reason to live, I stopped feeling anything. I was getting annoyed from all the 'Are you ok!' my relatives were throwing at me, but I had nothing to say to them, so I started to fake emotions, to act. In fact,I think that I became pretty good at it since people stopped asking me if I was ok after a while. It lasted for months, felt like years; the only thing keeping me from committing the irreparable was the suffering it would inflict on them. I actually went to take walks in Spring on the dangerously unfreezing lake, but somehow the ice didn't break (it cracked though) I was always too scared to really go far though. Why is it that someone who is living a 'good life' who has friends can only feel fear and sorrow? I came home one day and watched a small youtuber's covers (Shady Cicada he's pretty good) and he covered a song called Shatter Me, he told his subscribers to go and watch the original and that Lindsey Stirling is incredible. Having nothing to lose, I went and listened to the song...... Don't know what happened,I just burst into tears and I would just hit the replay button and continued to cry. It's like if, ironically, Shatter Me shattered my barrier blocking positive emotions. I looked up your story and it is inspiring! I came to realize that I could actually take time to try new things. It changed me. Been a huge fan of you and Halestorm since then; not only that, but I actually opened up to music and art itself, literature,movies. ---------------------------------------------------------- Almost 2 years later and I'm studying in a Computer Science: Game Option bachelor in the hopes of one day being able to give back to the community, to make my own stuff and release my own talent. I've started learning the piano (self-taught, still not very good, but it does get better) and plan to learn other instruments as well! My relatives love the new me; apparently feeling better about yourself makes you more enjoyable. All thanks to you!

It's songs that really understand and can express real emotions and pain, such as shatter me, that really help me feel better if I'm low, although I've never gone through half what you did. Love Never dies by Andrew Lloyd Webber is also really good in that respect, the singer (Anna O'Byrne) gives it a real feeling and passion which is just really nice.

I remember being impressed with the production values and with the amazing emotional expressiveness of Lindsey's playing. Then I watched "Crystallize," and "impressed" significantly fails to encompass the depth to which I was stirred. After that, I couldn't get enough of her incredible creativity and virtuosity. I love this. So much. Think I got more emotional than Lindsey did! XD Haha. Been a fan from some time after the Crystalize video came out. Soon as I heard it I needed more and found Shadows. Showed everyone I could. Same with every video since. I pretty much shove Lindsey into peoples faces. Not one of them has ever disliked what I've shown them. So proud of Lindsey for following her dreams and sticking too it after AGT said no. Because of that we have amazing beautiful music to listen too and some seriously epic music videos along with them! Skyrim with Peter Hollens was the first song I heard from Lindsey. Then I found Crystallize and knew that she was something special. Four years and three albums later and Lindsey is still one of a kind. Thank you Lindsey for all that you do!

Been a fan from some time after the Crystalize video came out. Soon as I heard it I needed more and found Shadows. Showed everyone I could. Same with every video since. I pretty much shove Lindsey into peoples faces. Not one of them has ever disliked what I've shown them. So proud of Lindsey for following her dreams and sticking too it after AGT said no. Because of that we have amazing beautiful music to listen too and some seriously epic music videos along with them! And hopefully lots more too come!

that's so wonderful Miss Lindsey :) You're so awesome and such an inspiration :) I know I was told I could never go to university and at best I would only ever go to college. However, not only did I get into university, I did a double Major in Philosophy and Religious Studies in addition to a 3 year Masters of Divinity program and maintained a GPA of 3.4 as well as will soon be finished my first Theology book :) thank you so much for being a inspiration for others :)
