2:27 you can actually switch to "auto aim" when press middle Mouse (idk if use Gamepad, cos I haven't tried itself) but I prefer "manual aim" because the camera position will be locked during "auto aim"
Game is cool and all that but FPS nose dives when there's more than 8 players on screen, and this being an mmo that's an issue. It is extremely CPU bond, so even on my RTX 4090 you cannot brute force performance. Hope its better optimised when it comes to Global but not holding my breath.
This looks really great. I just hope you can remove UI elements, because that's one of the things I'm not too fond of. Besides that it looks fun and is really gorgeous graphically.
I kinda get what he coming from though, the combat sometime feels like you are not controlling the char cause they have been trying to make newer char's moves look more epic than older char so every move have to be over the top.
@ohpeep3723 I feel like a god playing bdo. Punchy moves. Massive effects, and the combo system makes you feel like you pressed the right keys to pull it off (which it is). When you get the hang of your class, it goes to the next level, and you are irradicating everything.
BDO's combat is just an outdated dashing simulator, the pve is a joke and feels just as bad as path of Exile 1, and just watch any pvp video, everyone is dashing more than they're attacking, if you want to take a peak at a truly impactful combat then check out PoE2 or even Throne and Liberty (even though it's still trash, it's impacful)
are they still banning ppl from outside of japan?? Cause I want to play the jp version rather than the western ver. Amazon games kill the western version for me with the dumb censorship mess.

Hopefully the gacha isn't as ridiculous as Genshin Impact and Amazon Games doesn't ruin it as hard as they did with New World and Lost Ark. New World's launch was horribly mismanaged with many bugs and exploits while Lost Ark has many issues with their cash shop, rampant bots, and gatekeeping.
As I watched this, i just had this subtle imagine what if they remade the RF online using this kind of graphics.. It's amazing, with a few tweaks of combat and ability system. It could've been a good touch out of it.
Yes they will still ban you, this is due to massive lag you can bring to the server if you are outside of the server’s location. Just wait for global or you can run a script to trick the server in believing you are near, however the server will eventually catch on and ban you.

People are so diluted these days they get blinded for the true masterpieces out there so r.ip SoL for sure!!.. Of course there is Warframe that keeps filling the gaps when it comes to action combat and movement, but the greatness of upgrading your fashion waifu, while scavenging around in big open worlds and dungeons, we should see more alike instead of less.. Ohh and as far as blue Protocol hype goes that is going for years now, Tower of Fantasy was already delivering that whole gacha concept better, even compared the no mercy Genshin - ToF is overall more fluid and polished in design and almost everything fundamentally from what I can see in this generic showcase.. I consider Project Mugen or maybe Duet Night Abys in the anime artstyle maybe worth waiting for, to finally see some innovation and refreshing styles than this generic overhyped and very delayed Blue Protocol copy of what is already out there.. This coming from someone who has established many expensive accounts in almost anything out there and knows gaming values beyond the one sided and mostly blinded and misguided masses.. Looks great but worried about the grindy nature of asian MMOs as well as the optimization in general. I don't want to be playing loading screen simulator. The rest of it looks cool though :D
Also in terms of grindy, i actually like grindy nature, it makes a game last longer than if it had nothing to grind for, then it dies faster and gets boring faster. Back when i did play FFXIV full time, from ARR to Heavensward, after you beat the story, there was literally nothing to do aside from Relic weapons, and if you did that, the game was absolutely boring. So having something to grind for keeps me busy and excited to see what my new grinded item would be like!
The game is going to be censored to death, AGS refuses to address it despite the thousands of discussions on that. This is the canary in the coalmine on how they'll handle the game. RIP

There's also New World and Elder Scrolls Online and Phantasy Star Online 2 and Tower of Fantasy and tons and tons of action MMOs around. It really bothers me how often MMO content creators make sweeping declarations about there not being many action MMOs when it has been the norm for a decade, only proving that they have absolutely no idea what they're talking about.
PSO2 is more of a fashion game lime IMVU or VR Chat, it’s far from a mmo or at least that how its community treats it. I agree witb the other 2 games though.
All those suck in there own respective rights whether it’s the combat or style and as far as console mmo’s go there’s definitely way more possible so it’s nice to see companies making more quality games
You only need to gacha for cosmetic. I think it is like 3 usd per pull, an emote can cause up to 100 usd. This is what i heard when it launch so something may change now cause it have a disaster launch, the dev dont even know their own game( you can search "blue protocol dev disaster livestream" )
I've a raging mmorpg addiction, in this past month, i've played 4 different wow servers, reached max level, and then deleted the game cuz wow sucks, i've been doing that on and off for years, please amazon fucking release either bp or tl, i'm trying to play offline jrpgs, games that i can start and finish and move on not like wow, but it's hard, i always feel compelled to play mmos, sadly, they all suck, the only one worth playing is ff14, which i can't cuz i'm poor, and gw2 i can't talk about cuz i haven't played it for the same reason
There's no P2W though, you only gasha for cosmetics. But I guess telling you this is useless, can't convince a flat-earther the phenomenon of a round earth.
PVP is going be missed in this. At least have pvp areas so there would be more players. Even tho i understand the level of toxicity they're trying to avoid
it was made to be PvE only however there is modes where you compete against other players indirectly, arena for example is a mode where you fight hordes of Monsters, and there's a ranking for the players
Right now for Amazon priority is throne and liberty then it’s blue protocol. So my guess if amazon stops wasting time with pointless crap. We will see it q3-4 of 2024 and have news about the game from January to March of 2024 but Amazon does not like sharing information due to the fact they know what they are doing is wrong and just plain silly.

pretty hyped for this, but i'll hold my judgement for now. Combat looks kinda stiff, animation is not great, and the enemies just feels too tanky i guess. Compared to BDO's combat and polish it's just too underwhelming imo. Hell, even genshin had better animation than this. And for monetization side, it's sadly gacha. I mean, BDO is already bad and almost unplayable without paying some money, but idk, gacha just sounds kinda worse for me. But if it's solely for cosmetic, then I guess it's fine.

Lets not overlook the massive negative of having ANY game release to japan before "global" - nothing to discover, everything already known, all metas already established. No real point in playing an MMO in this state. A few people that play the japanese version will have the correct experience but for the most part it will be boring and have no excitement, because all the exciting thigns will be spoiled months in advance lol. I was heavily following this until I learned it's going to be launching like this in japan first.
I played on launch for a few months, the games foundation isn't bad at all, it just severely lacked content outside of msq. I hear that the game is actually making progress with decent content updates with the playerbase growing in japan, it wouldn't be hard at all to turn this game around
@@keysuperset2514yeah there is a new PvE mode now, new class, Aegis Fighter had some changes and there's 2 skill slots pages which means now you can use 8 skills. There's also different raid bosses now. The devs are slowly improving the game, just have to wait and see if it's enough. The new PvE mode sounds fun enough for some replays, basically a horde of Monsters comes out to attack the city you have to defeat them before they reach the city. If they can put different horde of Monsters spawning every time you play the mode, I can see it having good replay ability
Blue Protocol will be the FFXIV killer. FFXIV is losing its touch, the game is getting stale, boring, and repetitive. And everything is just predictable and the same. You pay $60 per expansion to expect content, but then get bored within a few days. You pay $15 a month, not for the game, but to keep the house you've spent houses spamming your mouse button and ENTER to aquire while also fighting alongside bots who are also gambling the house to just flip it for profit. And the game feels pretty dead with the amount of TOS Rules there are and players are afraid to chat because they dont wanna break a TOS rule by simply offending someone who isnt even offended but simply just doesnt like you and wants to see you banned. I'll be so glad for a new MMO that can come close to FFXIV's type of dungeoning and gameplay by having load screens between zones and whatever. And i'll be glad that BP is not P2P while also being S2P at the same time. I don't care about microtransactions, because at the end of the day, the game needs to make money somehow, and i was never one to care for that anyways. And I am glad the game is F2P because that means I can take long breaks without the worry of "Ooh gosh, I have a 90 day sub i just paid for in FFXIV just to find out the game is horrifically boring and a new game just came out and I wanna try that instead for the next 3 months! lol
the graphics are decent nothing that great . combat is really poor and bad compare to a lot of fast action mmorpg its look very bad . the interfac look bad too . for a 2023/2024 game its feel cheap more close to a mobile game then pc game . i dont see why people are so hyped about it . bdo was release in 2014/2015 had way better graphics and gameplay now 2024 and all we get is this feel sad for the mmorpg genre . i dont understand why we dont get AAA mmorpg this days with all the people waiting for one
Visually in this case it's not about fidelity, I mean, they are going for the pure anime style, and they are doing it well, in that aspect it looks great. BDO went for a more realistic approach but it's a totally different style... Regardless... I think it's just given how EXPENSIVE and HARD (technically) is making and especially maintaining am MMO that keeps games with bigger budgets from being made because it's a very RISKY investment, although Blue Protocol as much I am not a fan from their monetization and Publisher, it's actually a well funded and high production game. I don't think I can go back to Free-To-Play at this point, the constant fear of new P2W stuff being added in the game doesn't fill me with confidence.

@@IDCH31 I like FFXIV but mostly because of story and the chill community, not having to worry about P2W and the developers seem to care about the players, but the number of good MMOs is definitely low now that they all want to appeal to the people that are growing up on Mobile.
combat is slowly being improved, before there was only 4 skill slots now you reach a level and you can have 8 skill slots (2 skill slots pages) not only that but devs are changing some classes to be more faithful to their role, for example Aegis Fighter, players complained it didn't felt tanky enough, devs changed the class and now it's better. Skills are also being changed because players complained that everyone uses same skills since the others ones are useless so the devs are changing the skills to be less useless. The game is clearly improving with each patch so far

Also in terms of grindy, i actually like grindy nature, it makes a game last longer than if it had nothing to grind for, then it dies faster and gets boring faster. Back when i did play FFXIV full time, from ARR to Heavensward, after you beat the story, there was literally nothing to do aside from Relic weapons, and if you did that, the game was absolutely boring.
So having something to grind for keeps me busy and excited to see what my new grinded item would be like!

There's also New World and Elder Scrolls Online and Phantasy Star Online 2 and Tower of Fantasy and tons and tons of action MMOs around. It really bothers me how often MMO content creators make sweeping declarations about there not being many action MMOs when it has been the norm for a decade, only proving that they have absolutely no idea what they're talking about.
PSO2 is more of a fashion game lime IMVU or VR Chat, it’s far from a mmo or at least that how its community treats it. I agree witb the other 2 games though.
All those suck in there own respective rights whether it’s the combat or style and as far as console mmo’s go there’s definitely way more possible so it’s nice to see companies making more quality games

You only need to gacha for cosmetic. I think it is like 3 usd per pull, an emote can cause up to 100 usd. This is what i heard when it launch so something may change now cause it have a disaster launch, the dev dont even know their own game( you can search "blue protocol dev disaster livestream" )

I've a raging mmorpg addiction, in this past month, i've played 4 different wow servers, reached max level, and then deleted the game cuz wow sucks, i've been doing that on and off for years, please amazon fucking release either bp or tl, i'm trying to play offline jrpgs, games that i can start and finish and move on not like wow, but it's hard, i always feel compelled to play mmos, sadly, they all suck, the only one worth playing is ff14, which i can't cuz i'm poor, and gw2 i can't talk about cuz i haven't played it for the same reason

it was made to be PvE only however there is modes where you compete against other players indirectly, arena for example is a mode where you fight hordes of Monsters, and there's a ranking for the players

Right now for Amazon priority is throne and liberty then it’s blue protocol. So my guess if amazon stops wasting time with pointless crap. We will see it q3-4 of 2024 and have news about the game from January to March of 2024 but Amazon does not like sharing information due to the fact they know what they are doing is wrong and just plain silly.

pretty hyped for this, but i'll hold my judgement for now. Combat looks kinda stiff, animation is not great, and the enemies just feels too tanky i guess. Compared to BDO's combat and polish it's just too underwhelming imo. Hell, even genshin had better animation than this. And for monetization side, it's sadly gacha. I mean, BDO is already bad and almost unplayable without paying some money, but idk, gacha just sounds kinda worse for me. But if it's solely for cosmetic, then I guess it's fine.

Lets not overlook the massive negative of having ANY game release to japan before "global" - nothing to discover, everything already known, all metas already established. No real point in playing an MMO in this state. I played on launch for a few months, the games foundation isn't bad at all, it just severely lacked content outside of msq. I hear that the game is actually making progress with decent content updates with the playerbase growing in japan, it wouldn't be hard at all to turn this game around
@@keysuperset2514yeah there is a new PvE mode now, new class, Aegis Fighter had some changes and there's 2 skill slots pages which means now you can use 8 skills. There's also different raid bosses now.
The devs are slowly improving the game, just have to wait and see if it's enough. The new PvE mode sounds fun enough for some replays, basically a horde of Monsters comes out to attack the city you have to defeat them before they reach the city. If they can put different horde of Monsters spawning every time you play the mode, I can see it having good replay ability

FFXIV is losing its touch, the game is getting stale, boring, and repetitive.
And everything is just predictable and the same.
You pay $60 per expansion to expect content, but then get bored within a few days.
You pay $15 a month, not for the game, but to keep the house you've spent houses spamming your mouse button and ENTER to aquire while also fighting alongside bots who are also gambling the house to just flip it for profit.
And the game feels pretty dead with the amount of TOS Rules there are and players are afraid to chat because they dont wanna break a TOS rule by simply offending someone who isnt even offended but simply just doesnt like you and wants to see you banned.
I'll be so glad for a new MMO that can come close to FFXIV's type of dungeoning and gameplay by having load screens between zones and whatever.
And i'll be glad that BP is not P2P while also being S2P at the same time. I don't care about microtransactions, because at the end of the day, the game needs to make money somehow, and i was never one to care for that anyways. And I am glad the game is F2P because that means I can take long breaks without the worry of "Ooh gosh, I have a 90 day sub i just paid for in FFXIV just to find out the game is horrifically boring and a new game just came out and I wanna try that instead for the next 3 months! lol

the graphics are decent nothing that great . combat is really poor and bad compare to a lot of fast action mmorpg its look very bad . the interfac look bad too . for a 2023/2024 game its feel cheap more close to a mobile game then pc game . i dont see why people are so hyped about it . bdo was release in 2014/2015 had way better graphics and gameplay now 2024 and all we get is this feel sad for the mmorpg genre . i dont understand why we dont get AAA mmorpg this days with all the people waiting for one
Visually in this case it's not about fidelity, I mean, they are going for the pure anime style, and they are doing it well, in that aspect it looks great. BDO went for a more realistic approach but it's a totally different style... Regardless...
I think it's just given how EXPENSIVE and HARD (technically) is making and especially maintaining am MMO that keeps games with bigger budgets from being made because it's a very RISKY investment, although Blue Protocol as much I am not a fan from their monetization and Publisher, it's actually a well funded and high production game.
I don't think I can go back to Free-To-Play at this point, the constant fear of new P2W stuff being added in the game doesn't fill me with confidence.

@@IDCH31 I like FFXIV but mostly because of story and the chill community, not having to worry about P2W and the developers seem to care about the players, but the number of good MMOs is definitely low now that they all want to appeal to the people that are growing up on Mobile.

combat is slowly being improved, before there was only 4 skill slots now you reach a level and you can have 8 skill slots (2 skill slots pages) not only that but devs are changing some classes to be more faithful to their role, for example Aegis Fighter, players complained it didn't felt tanky enough, devs changed the class and now it's better.
Skills are also being changed because players complained that everyone uses same skills since the others ones are useless so the devs are changing the skills to be less useless.
The game is clearly improving with each patch so far
