I'm leaning towards blade warden. 🤔 I was kinda hoping for at least 1 swordsman class that focused dps over def. But I'll just have to make due. Also, I'm still holding out hope to eventually get a magic knight/dark knight style class. What class are you leaning towards @TagTheLegend
@@TagTheLegend the sad truth is, most games usually make you wait for a class that really speaks to you. They always start with boring basics. Then when one does come along, everyone plays it because it's new. And you get lost in a crowd. It doesn't end until something else new comes.
I know this is super late but I’m pretty sure they didn’t want a dedicated healer class, they want everyone to be dealing damage, and don’t want everyone blaming a healer for not healing them(if you die it’s your fault) mentality
As usual for mmos I’ll always main a mage (spellweaver) but twin striker looks sick as an alt and blade warden looks dope too. I don’t usually play as a tank so I think I’ll give it a go after I’ve levelled up my spellweaver and twin striker
Whether or not Twin Strider gets other weapons or not will determine whether I pick Twin Strider or Keen Strider. Call me petty; but I'm not a fan of axes.
Gahd I hope they make it so that roles have a huge impact in team play. I dont want another dungeon coop that doesnt value Trinity roles. I'm tired of having every party being littered by multiple dual wielding Kiritos.
I can already see the sperging around Keen Strider. So many people gonna hop in the game with this class thinking it's a generic solo archer dps. Then they'll ignore the support/utility aspects and be a hindrance on their party. Anyways, good video.
LOL I feel like that might be the case too. I'm already seeing a lot of comments being salty that Keen Strider is not a typical Archer, Ranger, or Bard, doing massive DPS solo. xD I for one am excited to play an arrow based support class.
Twin striker reminds me so much of the trickster class from fiesta online so I may give it a try I like blade warden but Ik there will be so many in game I’d rather be as unique as I can I may even go spell weaver because it’s said to be hard.
How is that archer more support? It has 1 support ability, an aoe heal and then the cooldown reduction buff. Everything else is Damage except 1 CC. Like its probably the best support in a game without support but still.
What vid were you watching? Support: 2 heals, 1 sleep, 1 slow, 1 cooldown reduction, 1 CC skill to group enemies… Damage: 1 charge shot, 1 arrow rain It’s clearly a support class🙄
I imagine like an anime party where, We will NEED blade warden to tank ofcourse Spell Weaver as main DPS, Twin Striker as second DPS, Keen Strider to support and heal, Foe Breaker as second Tank and because of the skill to pull aggro, this class NEED to protect Spell Weaver against some mobs so that the spell weaver can continue attackng the bosses. Anyway, Blade Warden and Keen Strider might be a must to the team, and 1 DPS wether its Spell Weaver or Twin Striker, but idk where does the Foe Breaker will fit in... I guess like jack of all trades? but doesn't have self healing. Also Blade Warden, Keen Strider and Twin Striker might be the easiest class to play because of the heal....
Really disappointed in what they did with the "Keen Strider". Should have kept it more like an actual ranger, and just made a cleric/paladin type support class. We have a typical melee tank. So no reason not to. I'm really torn with this game. I love the art style, the scenery, animations, vibes, Action combat, etc. But I do not see a class that really makes me want to play it. For instance, I watch Lost Ark videos before release, I wanted to play almost EVERYTHING. I hope they come out with some more classes before release. At least something more mobility focused. But I still think the Keen Strider should turn into more of a ranger and just add a support paladin/cleric class.
I don't know how I feel about the combat variety so far, feels like stuff is missing. Need like 8+ to keep me interested in combos and damage profiles. I Dontt want it to feel like genshit where you get one attack combo, and one ability. Shit bored Me to tears. It's an mmo, so there's gonna be a ton of combat. Needs to feel varied and interesting or I'll quit so fast. Looks fantastic so far, Just needs more combos and synergy.
about the archer, THANK FUCKING GOD I HAVE A SUPPORT IN THE GAME, you have no idea how mad i was when i found out there was no healer in the game, as someone who loves playing as the healer role in mmo's having my playstyle ripped away from me, is just the most aggravating thing that could happen, hence why i was thinking about playing the tank cause next best thing, but if the archer is supposed to be more support focused then thank fucking god because i was so upset and worried about my playstyle being ruined in a game that i really wanted to try out, so thank you for this video, easy sub
I would choose Twin Striker, if this class had swords, but I am still choosing him, because this class has twin weapon. Maybe I will choose Blade Warden, who knows.
To be honest I'm hoping got Cross platform also. A mix between Console and PC is always fun to have a variety of players to play with. Most people claim that the game will receive less updates if it's cross platform but that is not true. We have MMOs like DC Universe Online and FFXIV and probably more that I'm not aware of that's cross platform and gets MASSIVE updates. And then we have games like Minecraft, Fortnite, etc that's server based games that are crossed platform and receives huge amounts of updates. So I just feel like some PC... no... MOST and if not most... ALL PC gamers just dislike or don't want to have console players "Ruin their gaming experience by not being on PC like them". I am a Console player for over a decade. I switched to PC some time ago. And I've always wished to play with my console friends who can't afford an expensive PC.
3 warrior archetype classes 2 of them being "tanks" will hurt this game. The mage is straight forward but with the archer we get into a weird bard hybrid grey area not sure how thats going to play out. I know ffxiv players are still hurting for genuine archer class. Then you have the lack of rogue type class which is insanely popular but are strangely missing in Japanese style mmo's at release. There are too many support classes right out the gate, your only option as DPS is Warrior or Mage, that wont appeal to alot of people.
Too be fair their not really tanks, their trying to do away with the holy trinity like GW2 originally tried to do. Kind of weird that they then went the support route for the archer. As for FF, not really. Bard is pretty much your typically archer class with the addition of 3 songs to cycle through.
It was in development on UE4 far before UE5's announcement. It would take time and resources to transfer over. It's really not needed. They could still do it in the future though.
I don't see anything I like. Everything here seems not my style. I wanted twin striker, but I know there will be times when I can't close gap and do damage that will still be a time I need healing. Maybe I'll have to play something else. I hate when I want a game but hate all the classes. In FF14 I only like Ninja.
@@TagTheLegend I might have to play sword and shield just because I know I'm gonna be solo, and it would be a death sentence doing that with low defense. But I won't lie, I'm tempted to try magic too.
Bard from FFXIV is also a support. The only thing archer here seems to do support wise is healing, while Bard you have to keep track of many different types of buffs. If anything, this one feels a lot more like an archer in comparison.

Will be fun to watch 😊 and live later when test release

So here’s my question, will there be talent trees to further customize your class?
Sorta. There will be skills you can learn and the customization part will be you’ll learn 8 skills and you slot 4
@@TagTheLegendi read somewhere that you can also further customize those 4 skills. From their website, atleast thats what it sounded like.
as a support main i love the magic elements that come with it in most mmos, but im interested in the play style of this one. cant wait to try it out!
weird that you are a support main but like this completely not support class. The playstyle is boom boom goes the fireball.
