I have two wireless mice and an OP1 8k and the only reason I ever even use my wireless mice anymore is if I wanna play on cloth for a while since glass pad skates are just different. I feel so good about not having to charge my mouse constantly on 8k and the peace of mind of no wireless interference and input latency (if you're a schizo like me). I have the same mouse bungee as you and there's literally zero drag for me on glass, you're absolutely right. I use the light weight base mod as well and even then I don't feel it.
We don't have any issues at the moment. We have the Razer Atlas and Kanami SAI. It could have poor tracking due to the game. Some games aren't supporting 8k yet. What pad do you have and what game or games is it happening in?
@@DoubleTapTech particularly on my Kazami from Glassworks, playing destiny 2, def will do some testing on OSU, D2 is old as sin at this point so I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't ready for it
Mouse bungee, cables etc. I honestly think it´s all BS. I Have a G203, i just left the cable on the desk, i use a common 4 year old dirty mousepad and I can´t feel 1 tiny bit of friction because of the cable. Wireless is all about the wire not getting caught somewhere, wich honestly, it´s quite freaking rare once you just put all of the mouse cable in the desk.
We used wireless mice for a few years. It seemed counterintuitive to switch back to a wired device, but after really using one and doing further observations we have come to the same conclusion! Especially for the value from the price of the OP1 8K!
Bro i charge my mouse like once every week and i game heavily, WHILE working at home. Im basically on a computer for 10-12 hours a day. a more 'normal' user can probably get away with charging every 2 weeks. (This is for the Ninjutso Sora V2 btw)
@@Gutrot i have a lethal gaming gear usbc cable connected to a phone charger so i can charge and use 4k wireless at the same time. ngl its barely noticable and i often charge longer while gaming than i need to coz i forget i use a cable. beeing wireless most of the time is still a big upside especially when playing Caotic fps like apex / the finals on a "mousepad = 360 sense"
I have been wanting to try this mouse for a whille for the mouse shape. Idk if you have used the za13c but if you have tried it would you say that it has a smaller hump compared to the op1k? Because I just want a shape similar to the zowie za13c just with a smaller hump
The shapes look kind of similar. Looks like the OP1 is more thinner and the ZA13-C hump in the rear tapers off a little sooner. If you want you can go to eloshapes.com to see different mice and their shapes.
I have both the OP1 wireless and the ZA13C and 10 other mice. I always looked for a shape that is similar to the ZA13C, but even the OP1 doesn't feel the same. The hump is lower on the op1 and it tapers off less agressive. Even the sides don't feel 100% the same. Zowie announce in a convention in Japan they will make a wireless ZA series. So stay tuned.
@@razir923 ive been using the cyro mouse mod za 13 c with the razer internals but have been wanting a lighter mouse with similar peripherals so i hope the new one is lighter 🤞
Depends on what you are looking for. The m3k i believe is fingertip only and its pretty pricey, around 340 euros and it being sold out right now you're going to be looking at resellers so it could be more. m3k is a lot lighter 24g > 51g. No side buttons on the m3k and an older sensor. m3k PAW3399 vs op1 PAW3395 but that's apparently only because the 3399 is less power efficient. So a lot to consider like your budget, gripstyle, weight preference, and etc.
@@user-gq3eq5bf9t I personally can't test click latency at the moment because I haven't gotten the XLAT yet but Optimum Tech has tested a few mice using it. ua-cam.com/video/1BVErJadeLo/v-deo.html The OP1 8k does beat the m3k by around 5 milliseconds. OP1 8k - 87 ms and m3k - 92 ms.
It depends on what you're looking for. More about performance but on some systems the OP1 8k's aren't going to be that noticeable such as the 8k polling if you're only playing 144hz or less. The Scyrox v8 I believe is less tailored at the front so also depending on your gripstyle and hand. You can use eloshapes.com to check out the shape and compare the two. But based on price to performance, I believe the OP1 8k comes out on top.
Haven't heard much about this yet but I don't believe the X2 v3 is out yet so I don't have much information about it. Based on the info given by pulsar, it seems like it's going to be around 52 grams, up to 8k polling rate and made for fingertip grip. Seems like they are using a different sensor, their XS-1. I think if you are still unsure on what to get you can possibly wait and compare the two then choose but since there is no release date right now it could be awhile.
I'm not sure if they are faster. I believe it's the same material. I can report back though that the second set of skates felt smoother on my glass mousepad

To me, SHAPE IS KING ALWAYS.
I have tried a lot of mice, Nothing come close to the shape of the OP1.
I would say its my endgame mouse.
Yeah, I'm wondering how the new logitech dex mice feel in comparison. Overall the OP1 shape is incredible and other companies need to take note
Yea I'm waiting for the OP1W 4K which should be in end of november if not sometime in december according to EGG's discord.
Tried the OP1 8k. Was a bit narrow. Got the XM2 8k and it’s honestly my favorite mouse I’ve ever had
