Right there….that’s what fishing is all about. The boy in the man makes go you out with a float and a handful of bait whenever….wherever. Love it fella 👌❤️🎣
@kennetking1 great comment, and agree that's what fishing is about, me and my son were on the rocks about 4 times during recent holiday, and he loved it. Catching pollock, wrasse and pouting.
Hi young Wayne. Did watch this couple days ago and meant to comment. This great video, different to the usual two rods at the beach. Which I do so enjoy but little bit float fishing keeping it fresh and mixing things up a bit. Good to see nice wrasse coming out. Looks a beautiful location. Get yourself well soon as and take good care fella. Stay safe well and happy. And keep those videos coming for us to enjoy 👍👍😊
Great video, as usual Wayne, great seeing me and my son on your left, was great to chat to you after also. We fished back of rock fish later in the week, my lad git broke by something big, appreciated the advice thanks.
Great video Wayne sometimes just the most simplest way off fishing is the best way nice and relaxing you never know what are going to catch especially a pouting on float Tom will be pissed 😂 tight lines until next time 🎣👍🐟
Well done Wayne plinking about with the little wrasse it's fun and has to be done in Brixham. They've managed to ruin the end of the breakwater I see with all that extra stone that's a shame. So many memories. I'm going down for a week just outside the area in September so I'll take my lure rod for a bit of fun. Take care mate 😊
Hi Wayne can you help ,on you tube I go through to your shop store and look at your rigs when I click on you tube turns off ?at you going to be able to do catalog please many thanks Dave
Superb. Float fishing is very enjoyable when they are feeding. Had some cracking Wrasse on the Isle Of Bute some years ago using a float and cockles for bait and some cracking Mackerel too
Brixham harbour is one of my all time favourite Wafting places on this planet,, My first is st,Kitts, jacktar village 80Ib, Tarpons on 3Ib Test carp rod. Epic, Great video buddy 👏 Keep dem Rod's Nodding. Ragga 🪝🪝👍
You should do a few more like this it was really good nothing wrong with a bit of float fishing I've had some good fish on float look forward to your next one
Float fishing used to be a right of passage for young anglers, today I don't think most have the patience and the attention span to do it. Good to see though, a fivers worth of rag gives a good few hours fishing and a huge amount of fun as displayed here👏
Lovely video Wayne. I suspect float fishing is how many of us get ‘hooked’ 😅 …. into angling. Well said about considering the area around you and if you would rather not have people talking to you, don’t sit on a harbour with a fishing rod in your hand 😁👍. Keep the content coming Wayne, it’s appreciated.
Your a much better angler than me Wayne. But i know that mariner area. Live prawn, early morning , rising spring, tight to the pontoons will produce bass. Keep up the good work.
Don't take this the wrong way, I do a bit of all types of fishing and sea anglers go OTT with most of their gear , granted they're are many times its needed but a smaller float would be much better presentation. I did similar at Weymouth pier a few years ago with a large avon float and smashed all the others fishing big cigar floats, give it a go in the right conditions.
I hope you realise that its against the law to fish the inner side / harbour and marina side of the breakwater at brixham. All torbay harbours are a no fishing only sea wards side only. You can check with torbay council or with the harbour masters office.
@@adrianbryant7342 that's why we live in the world has it is today . Love you to have a million pound yacht sat in the harbour and some person like your self puts a 4/or 6 oz lead through your window or your hull. That's why the rules are put in place because of mindless idots.
Also I am fishing with a 20grm float at 10 yards. But thanks for you comments, you will see I mention mindless idiots in my second video. Remember, I am not stupid and make sure I only produce video which are correct.

I'm inspired, haven't float fished since for ever, I feel a session coming up
Go for it, it's lovely hey
Used to fish like that off the old groyne at hengistbury head , huge wrasse ,garfish and of course mackerel, those were the days 🎣
Yes mate. It works everywhere
Nice little float session buddy
Thanks 👍
Fished there a few times, had good success fishing live prawn which we use to catch off the wall with baited drop nets - tight lines
Yes mate. I have done a second video

What depth are you fishing at? I've not had much success float fishing on the breakwater.
Thanks
8ft mate

Yes mate. It definitely gets people talking 🤣
That looked like sammy the seal that popped up ha ha
I know.. scared me buddy 🤣

Yes mate. I have done another video. I only go and have fun mate. No expert
Understood mate. I know you were on a family holiday having a bit of fun. Brixhams beautiful. Look forward to the next video
Looked like an otter surfacing mate, seen plenty in Norway, never here though.
Hey mate it did, didn't it. I will check the footage
That was a grey seal. Lots in Brixham harbour.
I am down for two weeks on Saturday mate , how deep you setting your float at on a high tide for the bass 👍
8ft to 12ish. Give it a try buddy
Top tip: if you want bass there, use live prawn.
Cheers mate, that's what I was using on the second video. Definitely a great tip! 🙌🎣 Thanks for watching
😎👍🎣🐟
Nice vid Wayne

I was only playing around mate but you ate correct
Move to brixham wayne
That would be nice brother
I only watched it to see if you fell in, over gunned, could have used LRF for those little kippers.
I owe trying for a big un though

Really interested in answer to no fishing, but watched video 2 and may have missed it, looking to visit later in month
