Decent guy making an honest living. Fair play, fish looks top notch.
Cheers mate
Oi that Tristan he is a weirdo once at Brixham pirate festival he and his boat went out to the pirate ship and made the people on the pirate ship buy his fish so he is also mean

How do you force someone to buy your products ? Seems like he made an offer, the choice to buy is the consumer’s.
Sea to stomach in a few hours, all the profit straight to the fisherman. Perfect.
Brilliant, no money garbing middle men and Tristan gets the full value of his hard work and enterprise.
The man's lost his mind
@@matimus100no he hasn't he's doing it the right way if you can manage a small boat and also sell your own fish with the licence you will make more money and send it to the market I know this because I'm an ex fisherman
There's nothing I like more than buying a few fresh fish (mackerel is my first choice) as soon as the boats tie up. A seaside pint of ale and a barbequed fresh fish is hard to beat on a summers evening on the south coast. Bloody fantastic.
I catch mu own mackrel nd cook it
Prince Andrew loves these comments
Tristan is living my dream. What a chap! I wish him well.
I want more of this fisherman!
Man, those scallops looked banging !
Tristan is certainly an inspiration.
Great story about someone doing what they love. We should all be so lucky! Well done mate and continued success
The man's a cannibal and lost his mind
Tristan, I love the idea of you running the business as to how you want it, fresh off the boat buddy. To have that buzz feeling every time makes it worthwhile and you can see it in your regulars faces, they are the lucky ones leaving close to the coast lol.
I hear this guy. That is life! No work involved in that form of living. He puts the Deadliest Catch actors to shame, in my opinion. No trauma and no drama. Great video!👍
Brilliant! I lived in both the Florida Keys and Torquay for a while. Fishers have an arduous task. Really digging the catch to plate aspect. Hat's of to you.
Honest man honest living. Kudos
Your living the dream life man!!! Congrats to you
He is a wonderful chap! I wish him the best!
this guy made the video , I love passion in anything anyone does.
Beautifully made, uplifting documentary! Well done to everyone!
What a lovely guy with a charming stout boat. Classic lines she is. Needs a big orange cat aboard me thinks. Your dad is smilin down on ya & sailing there beside you surely.
Fair winds mate & oh Nellie how I'm craving fresh fish by the sea now lads! God bless all there. ✝️ 🔱
Best of luck for the future Tristan , you're a very likeable bloke
Good honest hardworking bloke.
Simply Beaut mate. What a life and what a great way to make a living. Thanks for sharing.
Great guy, taking pride in his work. Top stuff 👍
He's lost his mind
What a wonderful life ❤
Fantastic film of a fantastic bloke. Honest, extremely hard working & passionate about his career. Fishing in your blood.. providing an awesome service! Long may it continue Tris 👍🙏💙
that looks awesome fresh out the sea i need to go there one day hopefully
superb short video.... well worth a watch!!!
it looks like hard work but very satisfying well done lad great to watch
It is hard work but extremely satisfying, to put a smile on peoples faces and know you are proud of your work and have an immaculate product it’s always fantastic
The prince William is a great pub! Always visit when down in brixham!
Top man. Top life. Respect!💙
Great video. Love Devon. Good to see the pride....all the best...Chris 🇨🇦
Nonsense
You're the man !! Awesome video!! More vids of this fisherman plz❤
I hope to some day be as happy in my job as this guy is in his.
I follow him on Facebook. Great bloke and his ethics
This guy has life figured out!
Remember when she was built in Paimpol and delivered to Guernsey for the Bourgaize brothers. Called Violet Du Sud.
I love Brixham but it's a long way from South wales but hopefully when we get to grips with covid I can call down again. More 🤞😎
I love his enthusiasm
You love anything really easy
Awesome stuff especially at the end
If only the governments around the world would incentivize this style of sea to plate it would be so much more common and better over all for the fish stocks
Off to a good start now that I found you 😃!
Well done mate. Hope to see you soon
"Fishings a game of hope". Absolutely, I can tell immediately we haul if one of my crew hasn't slept with their fingers crossed.
We catch and cook sometimes on the beaches...mostly we let them go, but freshly aught fish is very nice. And it's true dolphins, seals and seagulls means fish are about.
Wonderful video, nice young fella, thank you
Brixham is lovely
I wish all commercial fishing was this small scale. Good work. The destruction I have seen in my 60 yrs at the hands of large commercial fishing is horrific. You cannot beat fresh fish !!!!
This is very destructive too.
Awesome, that's a dream life and job
Il be out there on my own boat in a few years 🎣🌊🐟
Good luck to you mate, i'm from inland berkshire but always felt the sea calling, maybe one day i'll join you.
Great video! Very positive and upbeat. I love fish but I catch them on rod and line - and return 90%. I eat Salmon and Haddock - never caught either!
wonderful life good on you - thank you
I love filming fishing boats.
haha, had to laugh near the end @13:06, he could have sat a bit nearer the door.
Fantastic!
Ahh to have Tris's life eh? All the best brother.
Now that’s a proper job.
Wow. Trawling is such an environmentally devastating process. You can see all sorts in there including sharks.
What a top fella.
A life well lived.
Shame about yours
Legend.
my brother that's the life
Excellent a one man band doing what he loves working at but he takes a lot on by himself cleaning the catch and de scalloping for his costumers on the quayside plus long hours watching in northern ireland
Cannibal eating itself
Met a guy in Brixham in a pub, two pints in he tells me he's fisherman three pints he offers me a job starting next morning at 4am, after 5 pints he tells me all the horror stories and near misses, the sickening smell of the diesel engine's, dodging tankers in the fog, raging waves, 6 pints I'm definitely never gonna become shark bait, my fishing story
Great video. He reminds me of Matt Wallace
Imagine having trouble sleeping or no sleeping waking this early for this work man
Good stuff 👍
Beautiful person 👍 and fish.
New subscriber here awesome 👏🏻
Superb.
You people are the luckiest people on the planet to live there I'd love to live there
Fresh scallops raw 👌
My dream .. to have a little boat , live by the coast .. fish .. just a simple life but obviously hard work .. but hard work for yourself and not some company and making them richer and richer
I say good lad all the very best my freind
Best life ❤
Bob seems nice
Makes it look so easy! Lol
All nice and good....👍🙂🍀👋🥳🍾🌞
quality sir
That's right early bird gets the worm yup
The parking in Brixham is a nightmare
I’m on my way down , 👍
Seems a great guy! Such a shame it’s a dying trade for the small traders, I wish him luck
Wow hay a job n life all buy yourself ✌️ out there live hard play hard
Narrator sounds like Arthur Dailey
👍god bless
Any jobs going on the boat
Asset for the community.
Last time I went brixham I got right on it lol
Good night?
@@Manos-de-Piedra good “beak”
I know this guy works hard but to live and work in Cornwall and be already out at sea as the sun rises …….this is one lucky guy …..Cornwall is a beautiful place
Brixham is in Devon.
Well you can get it fresher, it's called line caught and killed in ikejime
👍👍👍
Still trawling?
Fishermens ireland brother??
I would think is dad was Dennis norway i use to fish in dartmouth with is dad 1979/80s
I like Bob.
No camera shot off all the little fish that were killed in the cod end and that's the future stock getting wiped out.
I assume with scallops and crabs he's bottom trawling instead of in the water column? What is the environmental condition in the bay?
Two and a half hours trawling for maybe 40lbs of fish? I would say fairly well depleted. He was fishing just inside the limit though and the other side of the line will be completely raped by the Spanish.
God forbid , but if he's get a accident and loses his hand, leg, arm he is a goner . Alone on the boat? i get it ,it's cheaper when it's all for yourself but the risk i to high , i know what i'm talking about ( been a fisherman for 35 years and still going but a accident is waiting in a small corner ) 😉👍👍
What a great business you have there instead of flogging your guts out for a week to gamble on a single market.
Trawler fishing should be a crime
Lovely stuff, just got to stop the french and Spanish nicking it all now.
