You just use a teacup...figure out what the capacity is and then use it and adjust your recipes accordingly. That's what I've always done anyway. ❤

My daughter was pregnant same time as McCenna and due a few days apart. However due to high risk pregnancy, they did a c-section yesterday. Healthy baby girl. Cant wait for McCenna to have her baby

Love my stretch marks, so does my husband. Im proud mammy, blessed to carry two babies in my body. A few stretch marks are like laughing lines. Its real.
With your pretty measuring cups for your glass cannisters - just use beautiful vintage demitasse cups as you should weigh dry goods for best results when baking.
Stretch marks are genetic. I used everything I could get with my first child the entire pregnancy including the bio oil. I still got VERY deep stretch marks. My OBGYN told me they’re genetic so if your mom and sisters get them you’ll likely get them as well. My sister in law just used lotion on her belly and didn’t get a single stretch mark.

I have stretch marks and I’ve never had kids. It’s from gaining like 5 lbs when I was a teenager. They’re on my knees too lol. So yes genetic.
Yep!! I am due a week after Macenna and I have used oils/lotions my whole pregnancy and I am FILLED with stretch marks. I had to skip the part of the video with her talking about it so much because it made me feel not great about mine and I don’t want that negativity! I am so happy for her that she hasn’t had them, but the products aren’t the reason!
I must be lucky then, had two babies and never got a stretch mark.
@stagedancesing in the grand scheme of life they are honestly so insignificant. I don't even notice mine anymore and they do fade. You're growing another human and that's incredible.
You can use any pretty cup in your canister because depending what you are making you will need an actual measuring cup for each ingredient. Use the pretty cup to fill the needed measuring cup.😊
MaCenna Pregnancy really becomes you. You are blooming beautifully. I only ever buy old homes. The one i currently live in was built in 1838, and i have a framed photograph of how the house looked from 1906, and it was so beautiful. xxx

Same! I'm so excited for her! And I'm not a person who gushes over everything baby. I'm the one who never asks to hold other people's babies and will politely turn down an offer to hold someone's baby. Unless it's a family member or close friend, of course. But I can't wait to see MaCenna and Romeo's child and watch the differences in their lives. They have no real idea of how completely changing an event this is - nobody does until it happens to them. And it's such a beautiful thing.
And the Emotions when they found out... the Bond and History between them that was so Visible... Priceless! ... Thank you soooo much for sharing... I'm praying for this Baby! .. G.od Bless!
I was bawling when they found out. Such a joyful moment. I think I watched it like 5 times. Such a beautiful moment I felt honored to be privy too. I can’t have kids so seeing that was just incredible.
I've been a tinted sunscreen and concealer only girlie for over a decade and I could never imagine going back. You've always been glowing, so it's cool to know you're the same!! Can't wait to see those cabinets! 🙌

I used like 20 different oils, butters, lotions etc in both my pregnancies and still got stretch marks. They are definitely hereditary, what you put on them makes no difference but it is soothing for when your belly is itchy.
They can be... Not necessarily are.
You could totally diy the teacups with measuring! Like just a porcelaone marker and use measuring cups you already have to fill up and mark inside some vintage cups❤

Just in case you dont do a “whats in my hospital bag” video lol a few items to think about! 1-bloomers 2- comfy PJs 3- cozy socks 4- house shoes 5-adult diapers or heavy pads 6- Dermoplast Spray (minimizes burning when u pee) 7- nipple pads 8- sports bra 9- showers shoes 10- possible stomach compression band or support 🙂 and of course everything for the baby! So excited for you guys!

I'm with you! Onward and upward! I love watching her change and adapt her content as her life changes. It makes me crazy that some are so stuck on her content from a couple of years ago and she's entering her second new phase since then - New LA family home and now motherhood! ❤

Homemaking content & baby content are not exclusive, I watched her videos saying that she doesn’t plan on transitioning into a baby/mom/family channel. She also already does a lot of home projects, says she’s getting into baking and I have a feeling a lot of her future content/projects will center around the home & family.
I can’t see Macenna doing baby vlogs. We will have some content but she will be doing as per usual❤

I have been using it all my pregnancy and unfortunately I did have some strechmarks in the last 2 weeks of pregnancy. It runs in genes, yes you can help your skin but it wont prevent it from getting strech marks if you have it in your genes...!
I used it on both pregnancies and still got them. A topical oil can't prevent stretch marks. They're hereditary.

Make sure to use all the belly oils and lotions after the baby comes too as that is really when stretch marks can start to form.
I had zero stretch marks until a few days after my daughter came out. So don’t feel discouraged if they do pop up after having the baby, you’ll still be beautiful mama.
You know , you don’t NEED measuring cups that LOOK like tea cups, just use tea cups. My grandma had an old coffee cup (I think it was her mothers ) that she always used for her flour. You just use it as a scoop for whatever ..but she knew that 1 scoop/cup was 6 oz , then just scooped accordingly

I only had a maternity jean, the rest I used yoga pants or legging. I also used many flowy dresses boho style. 14 yrs later I still have and use those dresses ❤

I used to buy stretching maternity suits and the pants had a piece of light rubber and the material would adjust to your belly and the top was wide and then returned back to normal. I passed them on to my pregnant friends after I gave birth to my baby. God Bless you! 😋
There is no product to prevent stretch marks. They are deeper than any moisturizer can reach. They are also beautiful lightning bolts of baby energy ⚡️

I love that light blue color too!! I have used the paint color Pigeon by Farrow and Ball and for me, it’s the PERFECT dusty blue shade. I want to paint my whole house in that color.

Just a little advice from recent experience. Better off getting air-tight canisters. They don't look as cute, but nobody wants to bake cookies and get bugs in your dough.
I used Bio Oil when I was pregnant with my daughter. She turns fifty in August! This is a classic!
I did with all 3 of mine and have minimal marks, I loved it and never felt greasy. I also used cocoa butter from a company called Mama Toto 💝❤️💕🎠🇫🇷🏴

They can be hereditary... I had horrific stretch marks, but my mother, sister, and daughter barely developed any!
The orange dress looks great on you it's a good colour for your hair and you look relaxed in it, I'm not a fan of trousers for pregnancy inlets they're the really wide silky loose holiday type
You could definitely use that orange dress with white over shirt afterwards.

Tea cup style measuring cups….try anthropology or Etsy. The large jar for flour…without a seal…I wouldn’t do, you definitely want it to be a sealed jar.
I have that Charlotte tilbury contour - I just noticed it has a twist close function just under the puffball bit for when I travel so it doesn’t squish and squeeze out inside the lid.
I would totally watch an episode of you cleaning the lamps outside. The before and after would be cathartic.

I’m having 3 kids . Never had stretch marks while pregnant, but they appear after giving birth. Not a lot , but they are there :) to be honest you need to be proud of life that you are carrying! Such a blessing to be a mom !!!

I have those jars with flour and sugar in them. I have dainty bird teacups that I use as scoops that stay inside like you are talking about. I love the look of it instead of a traditional scoop.

Stretch marks is nothing that creams can stop if you going to get it no matter what you do they will be there.
Yeah I’ve heard they’re mostly genetic. I have two kids and have none and neither did my mom with three kids, but most of my friends do have them. I moisturized my first pregnancy but I forgot most of my second haha

Use a pretty teacup as a scoop in the cannister. And you can change it out anytime. It wouldn't have to be a real measuring cup.

I grew up in New England in a house built in the late 1800's. Lots of homes, including ours, had that built in closet with glass doors- referred to as china cabinets. My mom stored her good set of china, it also served as our liquor cabinet. And on holidays it was where all the 'good' chocolate was stored. Great memories. I currently live in the OC. Miss NE- your current home has a vibe very much like where I grew up north of Boston. Congrats on the baby and enjoy the next month with Romeo as a childless couple- your lives are about to change in a way you truly don't see coming, in the best way possible. God bless.
When I was pregnant I regret not dressing up more but I definitely needed maternity clothing. Ross is affordable and they have some cute stuff. They have a few maternity dresses now too.
I have a set of measuring cups from Pioneer Woman made of glass and very colorful, I think she has different styles also. Good luck with the baby coming soon. You will love being a Mom.

i actually did go through a phase like in 2015-2016 where i had false lashes because i like my lashes so bold, but then stopped. I also had my hair super short at that time and both was just alot of maintenance hahah
I have glass canisters like yours and started using tea cups in them many years ago.
Just find some cute antique chins cups. They look so nice in there.

Use pretty demitasse cups in your canisters to scoop into measuring cups. Keep the measuring cups put away.

For the teacups as measuring cups, you can find vintage sets that look like creamers, but I imagine a tea cup set would have to be custom made. I collect teacups, so I would just do what the person that snapped that pic is doing-use them as the scoop and scoop it into a measuring container for larger quantities.

Love seen products you're using for years! Have you ever tried the Eyes to Kill mascara by Giorgio Armani? It's my go-to for 15 years, I've never found a mascara that gives me such full lash and that's buildable!

I don't know if you're planning on breastfeeding but a vest top (dress/top etc.) were a godsend, with a button down shirts chucked on top. Put together, allows you privacy and easy access! ❤

You can get turkish coffee cups to keep in the pantry jars. They would all be uniform in size and same design mostly according to what you choose. Usually they come in sets of 6.
But I'm pretty sure they are not an exact match to a specific measuring cup, as they can vary a bit in sizes, though I'm pretty sure you can figure it out.
For the teacup measure idea. You could thrift the teacups you love and just use a proper measured amount to fill the cup and then somehow mark inside the teacup where the proper measure comes to. :)

Macenna, I just love the videos like this one and the last one. It's fun to see what you're up to and what "small" things you're excited about. (The big things being the baby and the kitchen, of course!) It's like spending time chatting with a friend and just hanging out. Which may seem weird since I'm so much older. But my friends have always been of varied ages.
When I was in my early 20s, one of my best friends was about 20 years older than I and my best friend before I moved 8 years ago was about 20 years younger (we stay in contact). I also had gone back to college at 40 for a career change and had no problem making friends there. Age doesn't really matter as much as character, personality and outlook once people become adults IMO.
Anyway, I just wanted to say how much I'm looking forward to the new life you and Romeo are about to embark upon together. These will absolutely be the best years of your life. And they will fly by!
You're going to be such a good mother! All that energy and your bubbly personality and positive outlook means you're going to be so much fun and give him so many experiences. And Romeo seems to be a nurturer with a quick sense of humor adding even more loving fun to your son's life.
I'm beyond happy for all three of you and can't wait until you meet your little boy and bring him to the home you've been creating.

I’m confused… Going through your makeup, you said that you don’t set your makeup then talked about the Gucci powder that you ‘put all over your face’. That’s setting your makeup, so is the setting spray even if it is dewy.

Just a little note, if you only rely on sunscreen in the makeup products you might not be using enough as it is recommended to use 1/2 teaspoon for the face and neck

I respectfully disagree. It's only up for a second and if I like her advice on a product she is talking about, I quickly see the price with it in the screen and I don't have to look it up and waste time. Now, I click on the links knowing I want to buy it.

MaCenna you are just so pretty and spunky. I adore you and imagine you are what my baby daughter what have grown up like. I can’t wait to see your new videos and pray for you and your growing family. You look so sweet in your maternity dresses but now that the baby is coming you really need a more supportive bra. The breast grow heavy right before the baby comes and you are susceptive to stretch marks at this time. If you do get any rub some vitamin E on it. It worked pretty good for me. It’s not the time for flimsy cute bras right now. I learned that the hard way. I thought I’d tell you in case nobody has told you because I just love you and wanted to help😘💖🥰
Kosas has a cloud set powder that I use to set the Saie concealer. Works very well for me.
You should look in your stock of tea cups, choose one you like for your canisters then just measure how much it will hold using a measuring cup. The picture you showed is just a normal tea cup so now I’m curious if they will hold a specific amount that matches a traditional measuring cup.
