Good video, but how doesn't he get away with filming on his cell phone while driving? A video like this usually means an instant firing at most freight companies......?
No, you will be out for approximately 2 weeks, in for 3 or 4 days then back out. Running consistently is dependent on freight levels, and it’s slow right now…election year.
PLEASE take this video down, if Safety sees it they will fire you! We lost two dudes in CLT, two in GBO, a few in MRT, and one in ASH because they were recording videos while they were in “On Duty” status and it was obvious they were working! They don’t play!
@@jojogirma61do you have any idea how far old dominion goes back looking at accidents? 3 or 5 years? I just applied and am curious if my accident from 4 years ago will hurt me. I know I know Estes overlooked it and only goes back 3
@@dewaynethomas3258 that’s YOU. But LTL overall is not more stable than OTR freight. Low seniority guys will get called off to work dock and even laid off. I did LTL for 2 years we had drivers on linehaul that only drove once a week for months. 100 door terminal as city driver i never got 50 hours all in the city
Love the great walkthrough and content brother, I’m studying for all my endorsements so I can be on the ODFL team for good
Great! There the best out there to work for hands down
Took the night off tonight from this work and here I am watching this.FXF.
Nice! It gets in the blood
Question so, me being a brand new fxf city driver, how does seniority work. Like doing work dock and do these runs etc?
@@OfficerThumbs It’s like being on a ladder , if the one above you falls off you go up , fired, retires, transfers, quits. Takes time.
@12babyapes59 that makes sense, as long as I get decent hrs I'm perfectly fine with that
Great video - but it would be even greater if the music was a bit lower, so it would be easier hearing you, when you explain things 🙂
True that!
So dope lhh u got good video bro … put me on I got hazmat tanker ,doubles & triples and 5 year’s commercial driving … I got automatic restriction
Hey just go and apply when they start hiring again
Eeeeeeeeasy money!!! 👏👏👏❤️

Yea mostly manuals.. but I like it sometimes

You can't tell what you're saying most of the time because the music in the background is so loud. Why do people do this.
😂 yea my bad first video like this so forgive me sir
What exactly is a "extra board driver" whats the difference that the 53' or LTL
Extra board is when u don't have a route yet and they call you when they want u to come in

@@SylentLight Yes! Also, I don’t want to see someone else jeopardize and potentially lose a really good paying job with excellent benefits.

@@CMills8674 bout a week ago. Manager not in till this week tho
Are they hiring in Ct, and will they hire you straight out of CDL school??
I don’t know if they are hiring in Ct, but they typically require 2 years experience unless you go thru their driving school.
What he said again lol thanks bro!
no automatics?
😂 no sir mostly manual.. not a company for steering wheel holders lol jk
@@dur22pay i do more than holding a steering wheel tho 🤣

Do you have to drive doubles ?
Only if you do linehaul.
City guys have to pull doubles periodically, but mostly vans/pups.
