    If you’re having to feather your FS 94r to keep it running you need to adjust the valve clearance.
    Pretty straight forward and easy to accomplish. Ask dealer for the valve adjustment kit. Comes with a replacement seal as well as the feeler gauge.

      wrong. machine is designed to run full throttle, your not making it hot enough for the obama mandated screen to burn off the excess oil. clean the screen off or replace it if it is rusty, rusty screens will reclog faster due to the rust absorbing more carbon.
      the screen on the 2 cycle fuel motor exhaust is an obama mandate to burn off the extra oil that is not consumed by the machine due to non full throttle....running them at full throttle is how this screen is supposed to work the excess heat gets transferred to the screen and burns off the excess oil, when this screen plugs up it causes the exhaust gases to stall out the motor as they can't escape. clean this screen off or replace it with a new one, doesn't matter unless the screen is rusting apart the rust makes the oil cake on faster and thus you will have to clean it more often, at this point just replace it like an air cleaner filter. taryl fixes all channel if you don't understand this, i had my last major landscape company mechanic tell me about this before i found taryl fixes all channel on youtube.

      @@briandewolfe22 as long as it makes sense financially and makes you money your good. I do not buy brand new ever except my trimmers and blowers smaller things. Also i did the same with the battery trimmers and regretted it. I have like 20 40v batteries now. Use the echo trimmers and blowers with ryobi batteries. Ryobi really stepped up their game i know its not for everyone but it works. Also to me its convientent because i can go to home depot for most everything i need. As long as your mower is 22 hp or more i think its a good buy, 52 inch deck or below. Nice truck btw you keep things super clean which makes a difference in efficency. I also make decent money with my customers by subcontracting hardscape jobs. Its good to look into because i can advertise hardscaping and just have to close the deal. 1k 2k profit like 3x a year. 4% on 50k is a lot lol. Good luck.

      i love how much more fuel efficient they are and how lighter they are i can get thru swampier areas with less damage easily. the ones with tweels are phenomenal but if you don't have swampy or wet areas you don't need them but if you are in new construction or hail damage areas...you can easily lose $0 an hour patching a tire whereas the tweels you just keep rollin rollin rollin. also i like the more forward body weight balance you don't tip back as easily, the padding is decent and they are lighter so you can push them out of stuck situations easier. i don't like that some of the controls are obstructed while you are going tho. blade and throttle specifically and i don't like the deck lever lock, it seems a great many dealership don't put them together right kind of like the handles at a great many dealerships for the sit down zero turns get put on the wrong side of the actuator levers or are bolted on the wrong way or are missing the washer that keeps the handles from hitting each other.

    My weed eater its discontinued now. It’s the Toro 18inch straight shaft gas. I’ve had it for 7 years and last year it was not starting. Replaced the spark plug, filter, head & cleaned it. Started up. This year it’s having the over heating problem; even running it low speed. On a hot day it turns off every 60 seconds. @@briandewolfe22 your equipment is meant to run when its hot. Also for me its best only because every day i would have to unload my tailer or cover it. Now i can just leave everything right where it goes. I might get open if i get busy enough for another rig. I also live in pa so maybe like further south you could be making a valid point about the heat. Its just not a problem for me plus i barely drive from job to job anyways so it wouldnt cool off driving too much 2 minutes up the road. Also with the longer trailer you can do 2 mowers and rotate them if u needed. But your setup is actually awesome. I do wish i had a commercial stander but cant justify it until one of my mowers breaks down. Good luck! This work isnt easy.

    I no longer have my business but I found that a 36" walk behind and 48" ztr/stander was the best cut and plenty size for every property I took care of. Over the time of my business I had ztr as the standers were just catching on but I had 48", 50", 52" and 60"....
    I also always ran Echo trimmers and blowers with only non ethanol gas and never really had issues....
    You may want to do a carburetor swap on that weed eater, I have done several of the tune up kits on ebay or Amazon with the carb, spark plug, air filter and it has new fuel lines plus the prime bulb for around $20.

My worst nightmare would be that I promote all over the local Facebook groups and spend my time off work going around hanging flyers just for nobody to want my business and then I get discouraged and not do it. Just started watching. Nice trailer. I was thinking about purchasing the Milwaukee pole saw that extends to 13’ for a tree trimming job coming up. Is it worth it? I like battery and have many mil tools and the hand pruner chain saw also which is great. I have a husqerverna weed eater. 325ilk it works great. Have you seen blades of grass lawn care on UA-cam? He has all battery set up. Do you have a video on how you put the walls on your trailer?

    I plan on quiting my 7 to 5 dead ebd job in April 2025. Been putting 12% of my paycheck back since I started. Figure cashing that out + Tax Refund, and should be able to get a good start. Thinking a Cub Cadet (Only Local Dealer Around me), Stihl combi setup, and good backpack blower. Will be using my SUV with Trailer for now. I plan on doing door 2 door marketing with door tags. Im only gonna take customers on, once i get 4+ in a 20minute area (Density).

      Sounds like a great plan. If I were you I’d get the Google and Facebook page up asap don’t wait until April start getting your name out now and pick up clients for next season. Ask friends and family to help you with Google reviews and hit the ground running. With that equipment you will be just fine. Look for a good stand on mower on fb marketplace if you can. I know you wanna close dealer but with it being used it won’t matter just fine a good local small engine mechanic near you and be his best friend lol.

    Maybe you should put the guard back on the stihl. Your string is probably too long, causing it to overheat. They guard cuts the string to keep it a certain length

    • @briandewolfe22
      @briandewolfe22  3 місяці тому

      Very true, I actually adjusted the carb and it runs great now, I don’t pull too much string out though cause it will definitely bog down and overheat.

    No, I had the same issue with the STHL trimmer. I’d have to keep the throttle going a little so it wouldn’t die. But I switched to RedMax and it starts first pull everything even in 90+ degrees with no guard.

    I run a 48 inch deck but i do residential only most of my jobs are an acre or less. On that stihl trimmer you got you can adjuat thr throttle to keep it going. Sounds like its just out of adjustment. Google where the screw is for it but as long as it doesnt have carb issues that should fix it. I believe its the t screw on the carb it pushes the throttle open just a little bit and can help with idle issues

    I have the milwaukee edger, pole saw and hedger. Your right the batteries do not last. I didn't get the trimmer because it will not last for me and i dont have that many batteries to keep swapping them out like that. Imagine every yard in the spring is overgrown, yeah its not going to work. The edger is good same with the pole saw. The hedger i do not recommend anyone getting unless they really want it, it doesnt trim hedges really well. Youl spend so much time going over the same spot.
