When magicules pool in an area, magical creatures like that saber bear can naturally spawn. And when you're dealing with the level of magicules coming out of Tempest, that can lead to some nasty surprises. So by reducing the concentration of magicules in the air, the number and strength of dangerous monsters is basically eliminated

additionally, having the route covered by anti-magic barrier allows for the paths leading into Rimuru City in Tempest to be safer for those who cannot withstand higher than normal concentration of magicules. Monsters typically have a much higher resistance towards magicules than humans. The adventurers who stay in Rimuru City notwithstanding, as most of them would develop resistances as they improve their combat skills and abilities - kind of the general stat increase as you level up in an RPG.
SInce Rimuru intends Tempest to be the central trading hub of the continent, having the Jura forest being right smack in the center of it, other countries and merchants would definitely feel threatened by it. Falmuth did it to some degree, and they paid the price in the end.
The anti-magic barrier placed in the 'highways' are just one of the many projects that help funnel trade of all species and races within the continent to Tempest/Rimuru City, hence improving the exchange of cultures and wealth.
@@YaBoyRockLee In addition to high concentration of magicules is like poison for humans and weaker monsters ... while for now it does not have any adverse effect as more and more monsters gather and as they become stronger in Tempest the concentration will keep increasing, making it so that at some points humans and weaker races like kobolds or even unevolved goblins would have issues living there ....

I think yall slightly misunderstood what Rimiru is doing with his aura; basically because of the near infinite space in his stomach from Beelzebub, hes not supressing his aura at all, its just inside instead of outside (like wearing a jacket under a shirt)

The anti magic barrier isn't so much about creating a barrier around tempest, remember they have highways going in all directions from tempest. The barriers will be on the highways, sucking the energy from the air, keeping strong monsters from spawning on these highways, making them super safe for travelers. Think about it, if you don't have to hire high end adventurers for protection, it becomes very attractive to merchants and tourists to make the trek to tempest. These barriers will jist be the first gimmick used to improve highway travel in this world

What valdora was trying to tell Rimaru If he doesn't release his power it will cause a nuclear blast basically and normally he don't keep his power level inside him but if he didn't normal monsters and humans would not be able to be around him in the town and they will die
Magicule is present in the atmosphere and all spaces, both inorganic and organic, and is a useful substance that forms the basis of magic. On the other hand, if organic matter, i.e. living organisms, remain in an area with a high concentration of Magicule for a certain period of time, their properties will change and, in the worst case scenario, they may die. If we consider only its effects, it has properties similar to radiation, so it must be handled with extreme care.
By the way, in episode 1 of season 1, the sage said that "Magicule is the substance that gives life to monsters." In the second half of the season, it is expected that the explanation of "What exactly is Magicule?" will be given, so for now, let's enjoy the meeting.

Considering how completely inept the human brains "solving" crimes are, I don't see how it could be much worse.
Magicules in the air are haemful to humains, and Rimuru wants humains to be their too, so they needed a way to bring down the amount of magicules in the atmosphere so it'll be safe for humains.
*Magicules* or *Magical Particles* are a type of spiritual matter that is heavily influenced by the minds of living beings and is able to take on many different properties depending on the situation. They are both the building blocks of, and sustenance for, Monsters.
The term "Magicule"; is derived from "Magic" and "Molecule"; it should be noted that the term's Kanji itself is referring to a magical/demonic Chemical Element or Atom instead, so describing it as a Molecule might be considered a mistranslation.
Magicules are invisible to the naked human eye and despite having mass, do not normally interact with most types of physical matter and energy, although they are capable of doing so. They act as a sort of radiation and can be found inside of materials as well as in the atmosphere.
Magicules are a particle highly susceptible to the thoughts and emotions of living beings. At the most basic level, this can be utilized to fill magicules with one's intent and then flinging them at a target, achieving a sort of telepathic communication. More advanced practitioners can fill magicules with complex images of phenomena by imagining the laws behind them, changing the form of the magicules to match that of the mental image, and performing what is known as Elemental Magic.
Many spiritual lifeforms interact with the material world by creating temporary Material Bodies made out of magicules called a Magic Body, and thus physical attacks do not have any "proper" effect on them. One would need Magic, Skills, Battlewill, or Weapons that can affect spiritual matter to deal proper damage. An example of this would be Eren attacking Ifrit's salamanders with her Icicle Lance.

Monsters on the other hand, are beings composed almost entirely of magicules and need them as sustenance to maintain their existence, although even they have an upper limit to how much they can handle.
In areas with a high enough concentration of magicules, they can coalesce together and form a monster. The level of the resulting monster is dependent on the magicule concentration from which they were born and by being exposed to an even higher magicule concentration over a long enough period of time, it is possible for them to evolve.
Rarely, when a living thing is exposed to too many magicules, instead of dying it might adapt to the magicule concentration and be reborn as a monster. Even Elemental Spirits are susceptible to magicules and coming into contact with too many magicules might corrupt them, turning them into monsters. Even the Spirit Queen was no exception to that.
Although magicules are most well known for turning living things into monsters, they are also capable of affecting inanimate objects as well. In most cases, only in regions with high magicule concentrations, such as; the Sealed Cave and Rimuru's Stomach, inorganic and inanimate substances can absorb magicules to become a magical substance, such as magisteel or magistone.
In such cases, the substance remains an inanimate object but due to being partially composed of magicules, it is capable of reshaping itself into a form influenced by the thoughts of others as well as bearing magical properties. It is also possible for the material to become a monster, being reborn as a Golem.
When one's power and desire come into alignment, it is acknowledged by the world itself and gives birth to skills. A sentient being's magicules are consumed and transformed into a skill, with them being able to call on that skill at any time to automatically perform a specific action or phenomenon, most commonly Magic usually at a lower cost. These skills can be born out of acknowledgment for mastering an Art or by one's desires becoming so strong that the magicules react to it and take a form that matches. In any case, obtaining a skill permanently decreases one’s magicule capacity, hence why humans and weaker individuals whose capacity was low to begin with don’t tend to possess many.

Wicked Oni Intrinsic Skills:
-Ogre Berserker: Allows the user to tremendously increase their physical strength for the duration it remains active, with a performance that far surpasses Steel Strength. The downside is that it damages the user's body to remain active, leaving them worn out and in need of recovery afterward.
-Perfect Memory: Allows the user to record their memories into their astral body, granting them immunity to mind control outside the astral body (like Clayman's Demon Marionette). It also lets the user retain their memories for as long as the soul remains intact. This makes resurrection of the user possible even if the user's brain and Spiritual Body have been destroyed.
-Ultraspeed Regeneration: Grants the user incredible regenerative properties far superior to those afforded by Self-Regeneration. Any injury and damage that doesn't instantaneously kill the user can be regenerated very quickly. However, the regeneration is blocked when a wound has been caused by spiritrons, for example via Disintegration. Also, damage done to the Spiritual Body can just bypass the regeneration itself altogether.
