We were supposed to wait until Addisyn's birthday in January to surprise her with this gift, but we just couldn't wait. Anyone who knows me knows that after our last dog Pisces passed away I was planning on waiting a few years before getting another dog. But, when it comes to kind, gentle, responsible, respectful, and loving Addy, I was happy to speed up the timeline for her 13th birthday ❤️ She was totally surprised and we caught it all on video 😀

This is wholesome in so many ways.
One child is putting the dishes away, one is swiping the floor and I'm sure the third was clearing and orgenizing as well while mommy went out to bring half and half. What a great family atmosphere on Christmas morning. And the pure joy on their faces, allowing themselves to express their emotions in such a wholesome way.

Our kids are typical kids who love to play outdoors a lot, but they do chores daily and thankfully, we have found a way for them to do regularly that they never complain. We try to do them together, but I was out running errands. Honestly they are so grateful to have responsibility to add to the family. It’s worked for us! Glad you noticed such small details.

@@ourwonderingharts puppies are a lot of work . start with crate training, is easiest way to housebreak . No matter what breeders tell u, that are low maintenance, hypoallergenic, don't shed.. not 100% hypoal, puppy coat is shed at abt 3-4 mos. All animals shed twice a year .
U have to start grooming, brushing, right away, the poodle side of a doodle , the hair keeps growing , almost to the ground, & needs be clipped . Handle the feet, forclipping nails, & leash train , & teach basic commands,
Come, sit, stay, don't let get wild , undisciplined, .. they go thru a teen yrs , at 6-7 mos

Your wonderful parenting skills are so refreshing in this present strange world. Your children and your wife are beautiful. Love the Doodle too! (Retired dog groomer here, please buy a Slicker brush and get him used to being brushed regularly. It could save a shave down later. And take him for his first grooming experience before 4 months old, even if it’s just a bath and nail trim. Your groomer will appreciate it. He’s going to be a big one!)

I love it! I was 10 years old when I got my first puppy... a toy poodle... my parents called me downstairs and there was an upside down styrofoam cooler with a huge red bow moving across the kitchen floor... they handed me an envelope which contained AKC papers... I was like. "Yeah, and?"... They said "Read who the owner is"... I guess I missed that part... Lol... because IT WAS ME!!! 🐩🐩🐩

What a wonderful family!! Lots of love in your home. Just the way it should be. My wife and I have a Goldendoodle. We got her at 12 weeks old. She'll be 2 in April. Golden's are smart, very affectionate, easily trained and pretty much a perfect dog. Get ready for some chewing and bathroom training. Be patient because they are worth every minute of the effort that it takes.
