Loved this video! I’m going to Nashville this summer for the first time and needed to know from a local where the best eats are at.
This is a GREAT informative video on where to go and not just over in the downtown area. It’s a great video for locals. Thank you soooo much for this!
Thanks Lacey! We love how much Nashville has to offer outside of downtown as well. We hope you enjoy going to all of these places and having the best experience ever. Please let us know which burgers you enjoy the most!
My son and his family moved to Nashville 5(?) years back. My wife and I will be moving there within the next year. I love exploring local culture and cuisine. Your vids have whet my appetite, quite literally, to discover the best the City has to offer when I get down there.
This was totally the wrong thing to watch on my diet 😂😍
Double Dogs’ Bo Burger is huge, perfectly seasoned and comes in a 7.99 lunch combo with tons of fries and a drink... looking forward to trying some of these
Hey John!! Hope you tried them out! If you did, let us know how your experience was!
Great video. Thx
Thank you so much, did your favorite burger restaurants make it?
Thank you for video
Super que buenas hamburguesas algún día irá a probarlas felicidades buen video besos
Shake shack is good but $17 for a burger fries and a fountain coke is crazy imo
I'm a Nashville native. Hugh Baby's is what I take people to as a secret hole in the wall and most here don't know about it, I call it the In'N'Out of the South. There's tremendous difference in the Double Cheeseburger versus normal or even with bacon. The most disappointing thing is their bacon. The Mushroom & Swiss burger is also fire. I always get 2-3 Comeback Sauce on the side in my order. The Fries are decent. Their chili is something different than what you're normally used to do so it's worth a try on a hotdog or fries.
//Edit: 1 new restaurant you're missing that me and my bud on lunch hit up all the time working in downtown is Jack Brown's. They just opened not too far back but their version of their Fry Sauce is fuckin fantastic and their beef uses some mix of American Wagyu and it's amazing.
I have lived here 19 years still to find a excellent burger place tried all these I miss In N Out
If only we could get In N Out towards the East a bit! Have you tried the Animal Style at ML Rose?
Excellent butt doesn’t top in and out in my opinion
For me its redhead stranger. That green chile burger be hittin
Hugh baby’s was really good. Especially after a night out on broadway
It's definitely one of the best burgers in town. What did you have?
We had a BBQ burger, cheeseburger, chili dog and fry’s. It was all good.
Great to hear!
Two of the best burger places around Nashville that should have been on the list: 1. Jumbo & Delicious 2. Swaney Swift's. Sorry, but it's hard to beat either of those
To be completely honest we haven't heard of those places at all. Where are they located?
Those aren’t even in Nashville
best ever!
Taking notes...decisions to.make.
Soo many good decisions!! And whatever doesn't make it on the list can be for the next trip!
What about Rotier’s?!
Awesome
Hugh Baby's is better than In and Out Burger according to 6 of the 7 people I know that have eaten both. The 7th said they were equal. The people I know that have tried Shake Shack say that the Nashville location must be mismanaged or something, because it doesn't measure up to the Manhattan location they had patronized. The most memorable review from the person I know that ate there said the food tasted like it was cooked on a grill that had never been cleaned. Nashville can be a tough town on out of town franchises; Whataburger couldn't make it here.
We secretly hope Hugh Baby's becomes the next Shake Shack 😅
But yes we've been to the Shake Shacks up in Manhattan and they are absolutely incredible!!!
I've eaten a LOT of burgers while I've only been to M.L. Rose once where I had the Mushroom Swiss Burger and I found it mediocre and the side of slaw I had was just awful and inedible. I thought it was a cool bar though but not sure I would repeat the burger experience so maybe their other burgers are better...
Next time try their animal style.
@@XPLRNASH Pharmacy didn't make the cut I see and the first time I ate there when they first opened I thought it was a good burger but the times I've gone since it just isn't as good anymore have y'all noticed that as well?
@@NOLAGent1, yes we have notcied that as well. We are coming out with a new burger video soon about Cledis. Have you been?
@XPLR.NASH I haven't been there. I did see a glorious looking burger at Butchertown Hall in Germantown I want to try but I was disappointed in their brisket there. I've enjoyed the brisket at Edley's and Martin's and y'all have taught me about some more BBQ joints I need to visit. So far most of my burger experiences in Nashville have fallen short but I still have a lot more to sample! I'm broken hearted to see so many of the meat and three joints close. I was also sad to see Rotier's close as I enjoyed my burger there.
Do you live in Nashville Tennessee?
Of course!
Well, as much as I really enjoyed the rest of the video, the trailer was a bit too...a waste of food I might say. Though it really did serve its purpose of foiling, it could have gone to the hands of the poor who would be needing those burgers, but for the show I might go for it. Just my personal opinion, cause my country generally disliked people who deliberately ruin food.
No Dinos....big miss...
tried Hugh Babys in Berry Hill this week for the first time- very disappointed, very thin burger. More bun than meat. Will go to Steak & Shake next time for same burger at half the price.
Tom F try the one by East Nashville Highschool A.K.A hunters station the have Big burgers
Also try the chicken sandwiches
Beware, almost nothing that calls itself “Nashville Hot Chicken” is Nashville hot chicken. Only Hattie B’s Hot Chicken and Prince’s is real. Everything else is just friend chicken like you get anywhere else in the world, some of it not even crispy. The level of quality of the food in Nashville is 2 out of 10. It’s SO BAD. People just have no experience of decent food so they rave about it. I live right next to the Loveless Cafe and have tried every dish. It’s all junk and flavorless except for their Key Lime Pie. It’s a culinary wasteland.
You live here in Nashville?
@@XPLRNASH I do indeed.
tell the truth brother. I'm from Texas and am a travel nurse, looking for good food is hard to find and basically, I grade on a curve. While I was in Main I had the worst steak ever! Everything was wrong spoiled homemade blue cheese salad dressing, and the servers were saying I don't eat that salad dressing, but the chef said it's not spoiled. As if I can't tell what spoiled food tastes like.
“Fresh quality food”? It’s cheese that comes in a plastic-wrapped slice, processed dogs, and beef mince and bacon. Nice, but no need to be fresh…unless you’re bragging about having a fresh onion. 🙄
do not do that for the food, a lot of people around the world are hungers and they are don't have any food, and you come to hit the food by your legs, that's really wired.
yeah
what A fucking way to waste Food
Most definitely not! None of that food went to waste!
