Born and raised in Nashville and it's not that expensive as some may say. It's just that some newcomers insist on living in the downtown area. Which isn't the brightest idea considering the traffic. There are nice 2 bedrooms apartments for under 1k, in the suburbs. Though the city is experiencing gentrification with all the new people moving in and tainting the culture of historically black and Latino communities. But love the ville anyways 💕
I agree. To even leave my house every morning for work is a headache. I’m born and raised in Nashville and I’m use to the “Old Nashville” the infrastructure cannot handle all of the people that move here. I’m proud of my city but it needs a lot of attention on crime and education. People use to be nice here but the new people that come in turned it into a pretentious pot of piss. People are so fake here nowadays I don’t trust people unless We’ve known each other growing up and still talk.
A lot of people who move to Nashville don't seem to understand that: 1: Houses are over priced 300-450k and this is only the start. You can buy a nice house with a lot of land outside Nashville if you wanna live more out in the country. 2: Multiple houses are built on less than an acre of land. You want privacy? Forget it, you will be living 4-5 feet away from you're neighbor. You're better off getting an apartment if this is what you are wanting. 3: Living so close to you're neighbor can pose to be a fire hazard to other neighbors in the event of a fire. Building contractors won't tell you this though and sellers will not tell you this though. 4: Today 200+ individuals are moving here from different parts of the world. This number will only continue to inflate. 5: Traffic today sucks unless you live within 10-20 minutes away from work, and don't have to take the interstate to get to work. 6: A lot of crime and armed robberies just minutes outside downtown Nashville. You won't see often though if you can afford the ridiculous cost of living downtown.
I really want to visit each of these places at least once! I can't decide in which order I would choose to see these places. I bet it's pricey to cover all seventeen places in one year! But I bet it would be a lot of fun!
Update: if you don't like busy traffic & paid parking: Slim & Husky's Pizzeria Surreal Spice Cinco de Mayo Ibiza Nightclub Tacos w a Twist 1,000 Tattoo shops Tin Roof Demonbreun Celfie Vibes (Selfie Museum) African American Museum ^^^all affordable too

Ok scary comment for a black girl coming all the way from Africa to nashville
Nobuhle B. Njinga you will be ok just study the culture and blend in and learn you way around and be observing of people and things around you and don’t got out alone and always take mass or something to protect yourself. Most of our citizens are very friendly and helpful BUT... THERE IS ALWAYS A SOUR APPLE IN THE BUNCH SOMEWHERE so just be prepared. Much reather see you have a great time then end up hurt, dead or missing....
Tony Brophy Thank you I love Nashville but just like the other big city’s it has it bad guys that do target tourists and they stick out like a sour thumb. I have seen it to many times..
Marie Smith I agree with you.I moved Nashville in mid February 2020.And my car had been stolen from right in front of my hotel room.Struggled a lot and you know first impressions last long.
Beautiful city. Hope visited one day ☺😎
Missed the Hermitage ...
Forget ol jackson...he marched those poor indians barefoot through
the snow as far north as he could march them...starved and frozen......sooo many died. FOLLOW THE TRAIL OF TEARS THROUGH NASHVILLE...
.BUT FORGET ANDY
With just 17 he had to make some tough decisions.
17 what ?

Love, love, LOVE the Opry!
It’s insane how gentrified Nashville’s becoming. It’s like night and day once you cross the bridge downtown to Main st.
Awesome! We love our city.
Don't come to Nashville. We're already over crowded. The road construction and traffic is a nightmare! Go to Florida or somewhere
I second that lol. Traffic is atrocious.
I'm moving to escape the polar vortex of Chicago
@@ashleywolford948 Go on down to Atlanta, we have enough people here now.
😂😂😂
I would also like to suggest a trip to McKay's. Two story used book, cd, movie, game, electronics, instruments, etc store that's absolutely fantastic
A lot of people who move to Nashville don't seem to understand that:
1: Houses are over priced 300-450k and this is only the start. You can buy a nice house with a lot of land outside Nashville if you wanna live more out in the country.
2: Multiple houses are built on less than an acre of land. You want privacy? Forget it, you will be living 4-5 feet away from you're neighbor. You're better off getting an apartment
if this is what you are wanting.
Sounds like Knoxville
Gentrification is real
I live near Vandy and don't see any crime.
Crazy because they report kidnappings in Vandy all the time
I really want to visit each of these places at least once! I can't decide in which order I would choose to see these places. I bet it's pricey to cover all seventeen places in one year! But I bet it would be a lot of fun!
I can’t believe you never mentioned the general Jackson, one of the funnest things to do in Nashvillle
lit. im about to book my NAPAWAY now. Any suggestions for a tour guide?
Update: if you don't like busy traffic & paid parking:

If you had every seen the Christmas decorations done by Harvey back in the 50's and 60"s at the Parthenon, you would have experienced the Parthenon made up just for children. A fantastic memory for all us kids back when going on Christmas was safe, beautiful and a memory that never fades...never fades. 🤍💜🤍💜🤍✨🎄✨🎄✨💜🤍💜🤍💜
Nashville - The Holy City🇺🇸❤️🗽
Excellent job guy 🙌🙌🙌
I love Nashville, don't care how cheesy and/or touristy it is. And there are other great areas such as Vanderbilt.
I noticed you’re from Nashville! That’s awesome! I’m actually expanding my business into Nashville, I know you might not need it, but do you know anyone looking to make some extra money?
Wonderful, thanks for the sharing
Tennessee especially Nashville have microscopic mites That eat you up all summer and spring if your in the grass.
Hi, guys im planning to visit the city for a few weeks, thank you so much for this video, it helped me to have a better idea about the places to visit
People who don't live here, don't understand why there are so many negative comments. Move here and you will eventually understand.
C P truth
So true
Especially if you were born here. I cant even enjoy it anymore
True
Grass is always greener on the other side. Moved away from Franklin,TN to Denver and I can’t wait to get back.
Im a Filipino and I really love your culture I wish I could move there
We were all friendly until a couple years ago when our population tripled and now its so crowded, we are done being nice. Can't stand the traffic, lack of parking, all the outsiders are rude and have ruined the whole Tennessee experience.
Kelsey Lowe AMEN
Kelsey Lowe Its like that everywhere
