I try to remember everything you have talked about for tuning, as im interested in bumping up my 2011 s60's output. This video you show how to log the data, but you mention flashing the ECU, and that youre not using the HP tuner for that. Are you using VIDA/DICE to flash? Also, I have yet to see anyone buy the IPD p3 Power tune yet. Their numbers they provide are extremely impressive for not requiring any upgrades whats your opinion on that? I assume at a minimum you need to address cooling on the early p3 cars before shooting for anything over stock power. How is your trans holding up with the high pressure valve body?

No im using Autotuner for flashing and reading. I also used flex device

@@BuiltForSpeed ah, jeez. Autotuner is expensive! I have a few more upgrades/maintenance items on the list before I do anything power, but I might just pull the trigger and ship them my ECU. I'll be without my car for a few days, but I guess someone has to test out the tune

@gombie72 ship your ecu where? And for stage 2 tune maybe that will work but for custome tune where you need to log the car shipping ecu wont work. But i bought the autotuner in usa to give people options to tune their cars through me. But i won't have remote tuning so they would need to come to me.

@@BuiltForSpeed IPD offers a custom tune for stock powertrains. They ask you unplug your ECU, ship it to them, they flash it for you and get it setup to plug back into your vehicle. Obviously it doesn't seem smart to ship your ECU across the states and back, but they've been trusted for decades so I'm unsure. Only motor upgrades I have are a custom exhaust, Elevate intake and j-pipe and poly motor mounts, so I figure it's stock enough for the tune to work

Is there a way to tune wirelessly? Like i get a tuner here in south africa to log in your codes? These people can't tune volvos, their power output is unimpressive according to other tuned p3 volvos

Are you using this log info to tune it yourself?
Or are you passing the info off to afr so they can use it to refine the tune.

I ask because I'm just crazy enough that I would love to lean how to tune and flash my car myself and that seems to be the direction you are going so I am very interested

Right now i flash the tunes and log. But afr edits the files. I will start writing my own tunes soon once i learn everything. But for now tuning my own cars and other peoples i will be the middle man/dealer with my own equipment.

Does it work for Volvo P2 cars?
