It's really cool to see someone so passionate about Volvo. I'm fortunate to have bought a 2018 S60 rebel blue Polestar with 36,000 miles. It's already fast becoming a collectors... Do you have any suggestions on how to increase horsepower beyond 365? Thanks :)
Intake piping, intercooler, drop in high flow filter and downpipe with stage 2 tune.
It sucks that the main point of friction to making power with these cars is the lack of tuners, hopefully rica can get everything figured out with these cars after working with yours
@@Rocker20997 rica has been doing stage 2 and 3 for a while now im not their first.
I have a real time maping and with the bigger turbo and injectors and throdle body on my p3 i6. I am at the 520hp 616 tourq the awd and power. I easily take out anything off the line the tune is defantaly where you can unlock the true potential. 😊
Who's your tuner? And are those dyno wheel hp?
@BuiltForSpeed fueltech 550 ecu e85 and I'm the programer. This is to the crank . Only once and nothing broke . I have a picture of the results if you would like to see them. The current map is for my daily it is 513 torque and 437.6 hp. This is to the whele and is insane amount of power for awd. The fueltech displays the hp and torque this is my max hp and torque on my current tune. I can easily say it is insanely fast 🙂.
@BuiltForSpeed as someone who has rebuilt the 3.0i6 I can say my heart goes out to you. I love and hate where things are placed. They can be so easy or so difficult but never in between. Your videos are a huge help to anyone who wants to work on their volvo without taking it to a mechanic. I look forward to your next video.
@BuiltForSpeed for you I would recommend kess3 Alien Ware or Auto Tuner for map programming. I've used both, and they are fairly self-explanatory. I hope this ancer your question
Do you know or know someone who would know if it’s possible to manual swap the p3 s60’s? I’m trying to swap my 2013 s60 t5 fwd.
Possible but expensive and alot of work
It would be cheaper to buy a awd p3 manual
I found oil in my coolant recently in my T6. Thankfully it was the oil cooler and not the head gasket! I am now thinking of getting the oil cooler adapter from Viva and installing a performance air cooled oil cooler instead.
BTW How tf are the cylinders so clean? No gunk. Do you use additives?
Once you install new cooler with new oil put 1qt of automatic transmission fluid in engine run it for 10min and drain it that will clean your engine out.
And 2 pistons that look new, had piston rings fail due to too much fuel and boost. The rest is tuning. The better the tune the cleaner your car will burn
@@BuiltForSpeed Thanks for the advice 👍
Hi! That’s kit polestar or polestar ?
Hello,
Really enjoyed your T6 videos, quite interesting, I wish all luck with the forged build
Have you thought about the transmission? I've read that these Aisins do not tolerate high torque, will you strengthen the AT?
@LollerStormeR i had 500ft lbs/680nm at all 4 wheels for 2 years it was great. But i had extra cooler and high pressure valvebody upgraded
@@BuiltForSpeed yes, I missed that video. Very impressive. I'll start easy on mine, with TCM reflash, should be good 👍
Is there any way to replace the rear main seal without dropping the engine?
@jdfd4906 get the angle gear out and transmission. But what makes you think rear main seal leaking? That not common. Vacuum pump above transmission leak that common, turbo feed line leaking that common.
A bit out of context. I have s60 T6 with 450HP and its getting a bit hot under the hood after longer drives. Any recommendations on what to do to improve airflow in the engine bay?
Do you have bigger intercooler? Intake piping? Intake manifold?
@@BuiltForSpeed I have do88 big intercooler and parcialy intake piping (rest soon to be). Is the manifold from elevate this much worth it?
@@adamkaakucki3438 definitely if you can afford it. You gain performance and reliability from it.
Now it's been 5 months 🙈When is the next video coming out?
@@Fhockne its been out
Hi my friend i took off my intake today to fit a new thermostat notice sum oil buld up on the inside of the manifold and the boost pipe. Is this normal. The car doesn't smoke at all
@@LouiseCilliers-ro3bp did you change your pcv yet? How many miles on your car?
@@BuiltForSpeed yes now recently. 160k km .
how is your rebuild going?
Just got the engine back from the machine shop.
Hi im new to your channel wanna ask a.. kinda stupid question. These items that you are recommending us to buy do they work on an inline 6 3.2 ? Idk if there are big differences like that.
Yes the 3.2 is pretty much the same engine
Most things will work and fit just understand that the 3.0 has a turbo so the intake plumbing and exuast are slightly diffrent
What a pos car
