Experimenting and testing the limits is a great thing. You've learned and now you will build a more powerful engine that can take more tuning and produce more power. The journey continues.
In my opinions the 3.0 i6 is the world's best engine. I can't wait for next video
Installing fueltech in your car will be perfect, watching from Brazil.
I’m looking forward to the tune comparison and built motor. I get updates take time but I’m pulling for you man.
Love your videos 3.0 p3 rule!
Thanks!
You’re making me want an 2011 s60 t6 as me next car, cause you’re proving these things can take a decent amount of flak. You walked so we could run
You are right. Thanks to this guy, my 2011 s60 t6 absolutely Flys. 120k miles runs perfectly. do88 intake, downpipe install, everything I learned from this guy. If you are looking for a good stage 1 tune, the IPD one is awesome. Oh also, the cars sound incredible!
@@hellothere6612what’s your 0-60?
Oh no i am sorry to hear my volvo dude. Hope your able to take care of it. Watching now👍. Did u orthoscope through the intake to see inside the cylinder?
he pulled the engine i think, check previous vids
Hey i have a question about a video you posted 4 years ago on your white is350 tune and pull. I moticed you had a loud whine while reving it up, do you know what caused this whine. I am noticing in my is350 thought it was the alternator changed it but it is still there. I bought the car already modified im not sure if it was tuned or not but I do have a throttle control do you remember anything about the whine?
Is Hilton still tuning? I know Gustavo went mia before I could tune my S60R back in 2019
Yes as far as i know.
I have a 2013 s60 r desisghn i would like to see you push 35 psii i think it will take it no problems with forged pistons and rods but what piston rings will hold ?? Ps please help me with my car lol
I got wiseco pistons and piston rings.
So let me ask you, in terms of zero - 60 times what was the improvement from (i) stock to stage 1 and (ii) stage 1 to stage 2? I believe stock is around 5.1 - 5.3 seconds? Thanks!
Stage 2 we got it down to 4.3 i believe.
@@BuiltForSpeed appreciate it! Hard to justify the cost and aggravation I would think? The reason I am asking is I own this car (2012 Volvo S60 R design in Passion Red with 80,000 miles) and have debated tuning it, but Jesus sure does seem like a lot of pain for little gain?
@@ts6640full second gain is actually a lot all things considered
@@bigman7083 fair enough. 1 second is certainly not trivial
Part of the process. There will be lessons learned along the way, some more expensive than others. You shared some sage advice to your followers, a great outcome for them. Looking forward to the rebuild using forged internals. @lcfpolestar
Aah man, I haven't watched in a bit and then this pops up. Sorry about the bad tuners doing your baby dirty!
It's not about bad tuners just if they have never tuned these volvos having them try doing stage 3 tune is a mistake. Stage 2 is not as risky for someone to experiment on.
@@BuiltForSpeed I guess I meant to say inexperienced, not bad. There is a difference. Good luck man!
Have you tried the ‘IPD USA’ tuning solution?
@@ts6640 me?
@@BuiltForSpeed yep. Curious if you looked into it?
Junk car
Haha dang bro. You started hating on cfmoto now volvos?
@@BuiltForSpeed both are junk
@@KClife9 haha
If this is a junk car, what the hell do u call the other 90% of actual junk cars rolling around. I hate to be this guy, but usually, the people who say Volvos are junk are american truck mechanics that die by Chevy, Ford, etc. And say stuff like "It's over engineered, it's hard to work on". All I'm gonna say is this. I got my s60 with 100k miles for 18% msrp. I've put 20k miles on it, no problems. I'm not a mechanic and I was able to install the downpipe, exhuast, intake, etc. Without a lift. It sounds like a race car, It cost me less than 2 grand to make 370whp, it's extremely safe, I'm 6'6" and I'm very comfortable in the car (driven 1100 mile stretches multiple times). It's towed 2300lbs over 1100 miles straight through warm climates and never overheated. The p3 s60 t6 is litteraly one of the best all around vehicles ever made.
@@hellothere6612 lol nah I had a p2 s80 and a p3 s60 and they suck. Constant lights on. Bad mpg. Horrible cost to repair. Toyota or genesis is better
