Deku’s dad has been missing from the series, but the question of his Identity might be coming sooner than you think.
During this final war arc a lot has happened, but we’ve seen some major callbacks to previous arcs of the series as Horikoshi brings everything full circle as he prepares to end the series. We’ve seen callbacks to every major fight in My Hero Academia in this arc, and now we’re even about to see All Might vs All for One again, but something happened in their last fight that might repeat itself again. During All Might vs All for One in Kamino, part of how All for One got the upper hand on All Might for a while was his reveal, that Shigaraki is Nana Shimura’s grandson, and that the villain he was fighting was the family member of the hero he loved so much, well now to create an opening against All Miht this time, could All for One do the opposite thing and reveal that a HERO that All Might loves is the family member of a Villain that he hates, as telling All Might that Izuku Midoriya, is infact his son, and with All for One nearing Deku’s age through is rewind, we may even have some evidence to back this up, depending on how similar the two look.

If Deku's father isn't AFO, my headcanon is that Hisashi has just been stuck in America due to Japan flights being constantly cancelled from all the villain attacks and he's just at the airport waiting for the next Japan flight

If it honestly goes the route of Deku being related to AfO, I hope its in the same vein as Shigaraki. As in, AfO's grandson, which allows Hisashi Midoriya to be a character separate from the villain

@@Noobnormalityna, it would make more sense if AFO was izuku's dad. It's because, AFO is a first gen quirk user which means any kids he has a higher chance to be quirkless like how izuku is. In first chapter or two inko says that she and Hisashi are fourth or fifth gen so, it makes no sense genetically. Obviously, the quirk gene is dominant with the case presented with the jiros. Jiro's dad is quirkless and her mom has the same quirk as her. So, with this if what inko says is true then the quirklessness should have been bred out. Now, insert AFO with him being first gen and have weaker quirk genes along with inko have a weak quirk that may be carrying a recessive gene. Recessive + recessive = recessive. Though this only works if being quirkless is a recessive trait but, we don't have much information. We could also use the shields as example being both father and daughter are quirkless but we know nothing of the mother. More research will be needed I only just came up with this with what I remember of the story.

That reveal will never come because it is the most cringe, outlandish, and unsubstantiated theory that this community still peddles as if it’s real when it’s not.

It makes sense that AFO is his dad. Deku's doctor was the same doctor that helped AFO. AFO probably has a few kids out there that he considers failures because they either have no quirk or their quirk is mid. That would also explain why he cantrol OFA so well - because he's actually got a quirk that's related to OFA and AFO that lets him access all quirks at once because its stemming directly from the OFA/AFO bloodline.
But it stated the vestiges within ofa were well aware that quirkless individuals were becoming extremely rare, since the quirk gains power every time it is passed onto a person with a quirk and significantly reduces their lifespan due to that, they are essentially trusting Midorya with that power, as none of the vestiges want to people to die because of them, Midorya is basically the ditch effort to end afo so that ofa can finally be laid to rest.
Deku’s dad (I’m pretty sure) has a fire breathing quirk and AFO has never shown such an ability. Deku’s hair is green while AFO’s is white. AFO would’ve been at minimum 84 when deku was born (AFO is stated to be 100+ while deku is 16) and AFO’s last name is *shigaraki*

Honestly, in terms of hair color the theory makes sense. AFO has a near white hair color while Izuku's mom has a darker shade of green. Izuku's hair is a lighter shade than his mom, too.

All for One being Deku's father wouldn't be a bad idea. Cuz if that's the case, they could use that as a reason why Deku is quirkless as a result of the Doctor taking his real quirk. Deku could have inherited All for One's power and the Doctor took it from him to increase All for One's power or something similar with maybe someone else. Whatever they decide to do with this idea, I'm sure we would all be dizzy af from this hell of a twist 😂

I have a speculation, about Deku’s dad actually being an international secret superhero, because we are told that his father works abroad but we don’t know what he does abroad and he alsohas a fire breathing quirk, which to me sounds like it could be a pretty powerful quirk but it’s just my speculation
The last time we saw All for One.... he looked like a dragon.
So the one thing we should see is....
Breathing fire.
(P.s. I know that's not all dragons can do, but fire breath is definitely one of the most popular traits.)

That would bring about a full circle with the original relationship with Shoto and Endeavor. Before the mathcup with Deku and Shoto, Midoriya tells Endeavor, "I am not All Might...And the same goes for Todoroki! He may be your son, but he isn't you." (S2Ep22 18:53) and then his comment to Shoto during the fight in the next episode "It's yours! Its your quirk, not his!" (S2E23 17:08). There's illusion of this further when Blackwhip first manifested and Bokugo, All Might and Midoriya reflect upon how OFA is the same as AFO (S5E100 6:55), and Bakugo saying "You're basically the same as him".
While MHA reflects upon generational turmoils, it wouldn't be out of possibilities that there may be relations to AFO, but additionally that Deku has an additional quirk that was undiscovered much like AFO's cultivation/stockpile quirk.
I really do hope we at least get a hint of his presence like damn I'll even take a phone call at this point
I don't think that would upset all might i think it would give him hope knowing his greatest enemy has a son that protects people at all costs

Yes all for one could have been pretending to just have one, and we know that all for one does technically have a fire quirk just never used it before but he killed nana shimura with it

Heres my theory and what the theory ending would be:
Afo goes around and takes quirks from his kids and leaves them. He erases their minds of what he looks like and make up a quirk for them to remember. Izuku was apart of that. He leaves long enough to not remember what Izuku looks like. In the final battle he gets some memories of when Izuku was a kid before he got his quirk ( was probably Telekinesis but OP ) and before his final moments, we take the Star Wars turn of Darth Vader: " Luke, I am your father " Which Horikoshi made MHA based off of Star Wars as he's a fan of it. Then we will probably get a few minutes of Izuku asking questions before he dies, (we never get the answer) Then the rest of the episode (or another episode) shows of reconstruction after the war, Izuku asking Inko to explain his father but all she tells him is that she only gets letters and that he has a fire breathing quirk. After a few mins of explaining their info, we move onto the next scenes. Everyone is either recovering or still in critical condition. People attending funerals. We also see that the remaining LOV members are in therapy/ trying to turn their ways (their therapists will need therapists) We would probably see a few years later, everyone is a pro hero, Izuku reached his dream of becoming #1. We see that everyone all comes together and takes a photo. We dont see the photo. The episode ends. At the end of the credits we will see the photo. It shows all the people together in their photo. The OFA users, dead pro heros, dead people who were important in the story, all in a white tint behind everyone posing for the photo.

I just wonder where was Izuku’s dad when he was emotionally distraught for not having a quirk, that’s an important event where he needed both his parents and it’s no wonder Inko let herself go with weight gain because of Izuku’s father’s lack of intervention. From what I know, Hisashi is working abroad in America, I mean, he needs to provide for his family , pay rent, and give them enough money for food and other needs. And it's likely that his job doesn't allow him to leave unless for medical reasons or if a family member died.

Nah AFO is 1st gen quirk so he has genes from when quirks were rare. Inko is the opposite she is 4th gen and has genes not recessive of a quirk so it might be the mix of the two that made Izuku quirkless

A theory about it is based on Deku's mom:
She was really sorry for him not having a quirk after she see him watch All Might when he was a kid, not only for him not having a quirk on his own but she being uncappable to pass her to his because she had none, she was like him but got one from AfO, perhaps for social acceptance and never told him.
At some point Deku questions why he didn't inherit the quirk of her mother if, at most cases, their children will get a variation of their parents quirk, he didn't because there's no quirk to get from.
Perhaps she asked for a simple or easy quirk in fear of being rejected or as a gift and at some point AfO and she fell for the other and Deku was the result.

I kinda hope allmight dies in this battle because for a while his character has just been done since kamino and i think back then instead of just losing his power him dying would have been a better send of so now they have a second chance and that and i hope horikoshi will do it.
The author is a huge Star Wars fan so a “I’m your father” reveal would make sense
I feel like if it is revealed, I think it won’t give AFO the upper hand this time, as all might has come to terms with shiggy being nanas grandson, and all might has come to terms with who you’re related to doesn’t matter as it won’t change anything. So I think all might would be shocked, but I don’t think he will let it affect him enough for AFO to get any advantage.

@@KaiserOmen7afo was deformed five years before deku met all might (deku was fifteen at that time) meaning deku was born 10 years before the afo vs all might fight in which afo got deformed, meaning inko couldn't have seen him deformed, secondly, since he can basically steal any quirk he may have used a weak fire breathing quirk he stole from a normie so he could pretend to be normal, he may have also had a shape-shifting quirk though that theory is way too farfetched to believe. The whole theory about afo being deku's dad sounds cliché and most of all unlikely tbh but nobody knows the truth. I didn't comment this to back up the theory btw, I just said that so you know that him being deformed wouldn't be a reason for her not to marry him since she didn't even see him that way

I think Deku's mother said in an episode that his father's quirk is to breathe fire. So it would be strange if the scenario predicted by you happens, but not impossible
I think it will be revealed at the end of the fight when all for for one turns to deku's age and looks exactly like him for then all might to die at his hands we would not see all for ones face only allmight horror and we find out only when all for one sees deku
