Hello! This video took so much effort and heart, I learned so much in coding and just making game mechanics and I hope you enjoyed the outcome! I will be posting a devlog and a little behind the scenes for this, so stay tuned!

Im one of those people, but I dont think that they are bad. I think they are mediocre and uninteresting. They are literally DS3 graphics.
In general I am not okay with how much it feels like DS3 all over again but with open world.

I can't wait to play Elden Ring and the Souls games are my favorite, but even I think that graphics-wise, Elden Ring is a bit outdated and looks like a slightly more refined DSIII. I specially wish they would make more fluid hair and fur. Not that it makes me want Elden Ring any less though.

Literally no mistakes, everything is just as it would've been. Especially the animation and sound effect at 1:10... Unironically super well-done.

This game's a classic. I remember playing it back in '98 next to the christmas tree, curled up around our CRT TV with the cousins, trying to figure out how to smash that pot guy

To get that real Fromsoft PS1 feel, you really need to disable texture filtering, cap the framerate at like 20 and reduce draw distance to about 3 meters ahead of the character. Then we would be approaching true King's Field standard xD

@Michael Smith thats a bit unfair, ds3 has texture filtering and at least 10 meters of draw distance. All from games on console have a mandatory 20 fps limit thoug, thats for sure :)

Best part is that we would play games that looked like this back in the day and think "Man, this looks great". For example when the remake of Final Fantasy VII came out and people who played the original when it came out they said things like "I know this looks much better but back then the game looked like this for me."

I think this looks really cool in its own right. I like indie games made by smaller teams that can focus on creativity instead of production values. Give me a whole library of new games with graphics like this, and fun gameplay.
