Wow, it means a lot to read this! Thank you so much! It's always a great challenge to explore all the different facets of Chase Bliss pedals and get closer to the original idea that gave the spark to create it!
This video is absolutely glorious. Sef's tone and presentation draws you in ... Instantly inspired to go make some music! The synth/guitar piece really showed the potential of combining instruments in 'non traditional' ways. Magic!
That's the goal of it! This pedal is truly a tool of inspiration! It answers back to what you play in such an unexpected way! Thanks for your comment! ;)
Thanks a lot! If it inspires you to go even further in your music and creations, that's what truly matters! - The guy with the beard who looks weird! ;)
One of the most interesting things about this pedal is how many different ways there are to approach it. It can be a looper, a composition sketchpad, a slapback, a standard delay, a tripped out delay, a frippertronic machine, multitap delay, texture designer, stutter box, lo-fidelitizer, shimmer, and beyond. Jack of all trade pedals are typically good at some, great at none but the habit is uncompromising. Chef's kiss Chase Bliss.
You're right! The fact that you can create movement with the different parameters with the ramping function is so brilliant as well!! Do you have the HABIT?
Sef, I don’t think anyone watching your demos wants to skip your routings/config explanations, you’re simply a genius and we all need to know how you do your magic tricks, but what kind of magician you’d be if you show us how to do all your tricks? Awesome demo!
Really grateful to be able to share it with you! If you have questions regarding the things I've done in this video, you can write to me on Facebook or Instagram! ;) Thanks a lot for your encouragement, means a lot!
I finally got around to checking out this video. Amazing stuff. I am using my Habit with a Signal Blender. It runs into an Avalanche Run with an OBNE Ramper being used on both of them simultaneously.
Hey Darion, thanks a lot! All those experimentations I've done with the ES-8 (especially the MIDI stuff) were greatly useful when I dive into all the potential of the Chase Bliss pedals! ;) Those pedals are simply insane!!!
This pedal is great. And everyone saying “should be stereo “. No. I don’t know. I think it’s perfect in mono. not everything should be in stereo in my opinion . running this pedal through a nice stereo reverb is beautiful thing.
this is probably the BEST guided demo ive ever seen, especially considering how complex this pedal is.
Thank you so much! It's a great challenge but so rewarding to share it with people like you!
Right from the outset, this is a bloody marvellous demonstration. Totally brilliant and really well explained too. Great work.

That subtle ominous sub-tone in the background. I'm not prepared for this sort of INTENSITY in a pedal demo, but Sef makes it work. Glorious!
Thank you! It's always a deep quest to unfold all the mysteries from the Chase Bliss pedals!

Wow, thank you so much Tom!! Grateful to share this with you and I'm happy it inspired you! ;)
Great video! I love my Habit, and showcases like this are wonderful for sparking inspiration in my own playing!

I can’t tell if Sef is a character that someone created or if he’s a real person, but his demos are very informative and inspiring.

Thanks a lot, Matty! I love the Subharmonicon, you always end up with new melodies with it!
Forget about the pedal😀this is remarkable guitar playing. With a little help from the pedal.😀
Thanks a lot Bob! 😉

🤘🤘
Thanks a lot Laura! It's always refreshing and inspiring to know how other people are using their pedals! Have great holidays!
Was fully expecting that 3rd musical piece to fade back to black and come back with a “60 minutes later”. Good stuff!
Thank you! Exploring with this pedal inspires me to create musical moments!
That board is sick and that guitar is rad
Thanks a lot! This board is in constant change! ;) The guitar is a Duesenberg StarPlayer TV!
What just happened. That was fkn great.
Thanks a lot, Kevin!! That's what I love about the CBA pedals, you never know where the adventure will lead you!! Have amazing holiday!
Damn he's still rockin the es8 and 500 series pedals. Last time I watched him, he was explaining all of those in depth. Now that's loyalty.

How's the Duesenberg man??
This midi stuff is wizardry, I must learn it to get the most out of my pedals and sync to my daw.
There's a world to unfold! You were able to sync your pedals with your DAW?
So THAT is what all that midi functionality is for!
You can do so many things with the MIDI! It expands so much the potential of those pedals in a live context! Do you have a MIDI controller?
@@SefLemelinOfficial I don't! I'm building up quite a collection of pedals that take midi, but I'm not sure what to do for a controller yet!

So when are Habitapes Vol 2 out? 😅
check it out now on the Chase Bliss Records bandcamp!
whoa that rules
Thanks a lot! ;)
🐐
I dare anyone to tell me he doesn't sound EXACTLY like Steve the Pirate from the movie "DodgeBall"...
