Just started watching your channel, you're funny as hell. You should check out a band called Strapping Young Lad and listen to their song Relentless. Crazy drums and sick guitar.
This song actually has a funny story, this song is about a lawsuit that pantera has (as usual). But in this lawsuit, the band is accused of beating up a audience member in the crowd, and the father of this audience member says "idc I just want 5 minutes alone with that Phil Anselmo guy" and the manager says "No You wouldn't" and thus this song came to be. This song is about a lawsuit and it's one of my favorite songs by pantera
That's classic, haha. But I REALLY don't doubt that's not what happened. Phil used to be a real dickhead at shows. Especially later in the set when he was pilled outta his mind from his back injury and drunk as shit. They stopped the set for almost 10 minutes while he was screaming like a lunatic at some random ass dude in the crowd, all for wearing a shirt Phil didn't like. I don't even remember who the band was but I know Phil just kept droning on and on and telling him to take it off or get the fuck out of his show. Even Dime tried to get him to stop. The dude in the crowd ended up leaving just to get away from it. They played two more songs and then walked off because the crowd was pelting him with beer and whatever else they could find. Pantera is legendary but so is Phil's attitude and substance abuse.
Pantera - Becoming This song *NEVER* left the setlist. Pantera *rotated* more (8) Far Beyond Driven songs thru there set lists than any other album. BECOMING is the one song that was *ALWAYS PLAYED.* it had far & away the best crowd reaction. All four guys nail it. Its the epitome of Pantera.
Drag The Waters or I'm Broken. You get a workout just listening to these songs. Pantera is so unique that I've never heard another band go so hard but still make you pull the funk stink face.
i'm a huge pantera fan. grew up listening to them in high school. got to see them live at ozzfest. I consider myself lucky. try reacting to primal concrete sledge. you will greatly enjoy it.
The story behind this song is pretty legendary Short of it Some dude was pissed at Phil, and told his manager "I dont want a lawsuit. I just want 5 minutes alone with that Phil Anselmo guy!" His manager replied with a simple "no you don't"
@@RybadYT its good man but na it just dont have the same energy as the one in Moscow that was the biggest outdoor concert ever man and those people are just feeding off the energy from the band was a special performance those folks have not had a live concert like that there ever just was a special moment in metal
@@claytonswearingen7862 the sound quality is pretty horrendous at moscow, not gonna lie. ozzfest just sounds so crisp and clean. especially during the breakdown. i love the indoors too because of the light show
There's a long list of Pantera songs you need to hear, Becoming, Mouth for War, Drag the Waters, A New Level, Fucking Hostile, Cowboys From Hell, so many to pick from. Oh and my personal favorite DOMINATION
You know you you really love the music when it pulls you in and has you making faces like you were. Love seeing people be impressed and blown away by Pantera they are a super dope band
Regular People (Conceit) - Pantera from the Vulgar Display of Power album That is my favorite song from them, you won't be disappointed. I saw Pantera in concert 9 times, and they are unequaled in the level of energy that they brought forth from the crowds. Their shows were mesmerizing and powerful, but the mosh pits were legendary. I really feel bad for anyone who was unable to see them live, as they were even better live than they were in the studio, subjectively.
I got to see them in concert at the Alltel Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida. Man, they damn near blew the roof off the place. Glad you enjoyed the music, my man.
List of Pantera song to react to- Shedding Skin.... Slaughtered...... Good Friends and a Bottle of Pills...….. No Good Attack the Radical...……...... War Nerve....... This Love....... Fucking Hostile....... I Can't Hide....
Hey man I seen pantera in 1996 at the cow palace for my first time with white zombie it was awesome. There shows where one of a kind and never will be seen again but I got to see them 3 times. There will be no other band like pantera and I was there.
Hey Gibby, just found on the youtubeiverse and I love your reactions to the sort of songs I like - Pantera, Slipknot, Tool - you rock. Love your shades. :)
Im from san Antonio Texas and im the same age vinny would have been , rip my metal brother and i have followed pantera since they put out power metal , but u know what every metal band that was from that era to me they all started heavy and like every metal band just went mellow but pantera in the other hand started glamor and they did the total opposite they got heavier and heavier they actually saved metal in the 90,s my hat off to my texas brothers and no one can say otherwise.so can u play a message in blood long live the Abbott brother's. Texas hasn't been the same but we are fucking proud of them they put texas on top of the map.
Pantera always brings it. Please react to Devin Townsend Project- Deadhead- Live from Royal Albert Hall. He's one of the best vocalists you'll ever hear.

Huge Pantera fan here... I think you'd like "this love"... Top notch Pantera song
Hell yeah. Those breakdowns are sexy

For some reason I like the 101 proof version over the original studio cut. Rare but when it happens, it's epic!
Can't forget Drag The Waters and Revolution Is My Name as well as I'm Broken
Any song from pantera is top notch

I was looking to see if anyone told him the origin of this song lol Thanks for doing it!

His manager replied with a simple "no you don't"
Ive grown up listening hearing and concentrating on this band PANTERA...YOUVE GOTTA HEAR LIVING THROUGH ME...ENJOY YOUR TIME.
It's sad when you think about that we will never have another Dime or Vinny or Pantera as a whole. They're once in a lifetime talent
Man, you were diggin’ that one! 😂 PANTERA for life!!
👍🏼👍🏼. Check out Suicide Note Pt. 1 & 2 from Pantera when you have time. Lots of emotion and 2 amazing songs
