- Jeff and Sarah and her son Aiden visited Yosemite National Park in April and document the tremendous force of water pouring over the sheer granite walls. Come with us to see some natural beauty and learn a little bit more about the historic buildings of this gorgeous national park!

Many years ago when I was young, a small group of us climbed the Yosemite Falls trail under the light of a full moon. Stayed up there to watch the sunrise.
Jeff would you fulfill my request by visiting the grave of John philip sousa please and you are a sweet special kind guy on youtube 🌴🌴
One of the most beautiful places on earth. How can one say they ever lived if they haven't experience the majestic Yosemite? God, just seeing this gives me goosebumps. I can still smell the pines after so many years since when I went. We are so small and our time is so short and this place grounds you back to reality.
We live 2 hours away and visit frequently. Also to any American, The Grand Canyon is a must see.
No amount of photography can do either Justice.🏔🏔👌
@@calsurflance5598for sure. one day I need to visit!
What a beautiful way to begin a Sunday! Thank you, Jeff, for another exceptional vlog😋
Still one of the most beautiful spots left in California. Thank you Jeff ,& Sarah for sharing.👍👍👍👍👍🤠🇺🇸
Glad you enjoyed it!
Yosemite is often called "The Best Place on Earth." I've been visiting there since about 1960, and still do when I can, at my aging 74 years old. It never tires me. Another great program, thank you! /Harry
Well said! Thank you, Harry! Glad you liked the video!
It is a breathtakingly beautiful piece of California.
What a beautiful location. I know you have covered Yosemite National Park in other videos, which have all been very good. This has some of the best scenery though. Nice work, as always, Jeff & Sarah.
What beautiful beautiful scenery Sequoia and Yosemite to me are two of the most beautiful Parks in California!!
Beautiful. I love the peaceful sounds of rushing water. The craftsmanship of the buildings and rock bridge is timeless. Jeff and Sarah once again you hit another episode out of the park.
Thank you very much! Glad you liked it!
What a beautiful place to visit, I should get up there before I move down south. The grandeur of the granite cliffs is awe inspiring. I climbed up the cable side of Half Dome in 1991 with my high school church buddies, although we had long graduated high school 18 years prior. We tossed a football around at the top which was the size of 5 football fields! Thank you for your research & tour Jeff & Sarah!
I drove over the Sonora pass three weeks ago; the amount of snow was amazing.
PS, if you have never been, the Mountains southeast of Lee Vining have a lot of rich history. The White and Inyo Mountains hide historic towns like Brenton Hot Springs. And, the area is beautiful.
A drive all the way to Beatty, Nevada could give you a lot of good videos.
Hello Jeff & Sarah, Thanks for taking your time and sharing the history of Yosemite waterfalls. Happy 🌞 Sunday and have a great day!
I need to win the lottery so I can visit all these lovely places in America 💰💰🤞.... great work Jeff 😊🇬🇧
Oh so beautiful, no words to really describe Yosemite. Thank you Jeff and Sarah and Aiden for a trip to Yosemite without the crowds.
Used to go to Yosemite every summer until I moved out of California 17 years ago. Yosemite and the Columbia Candy Kitchen are just about the only things I miss about California. Great Video!!! Thank You!!!
I love Yosemite...so many cherished memories. Thanks for this video Jeff & Sarah. God bless.🙂🙏🙋
Thank You Jeff and Sarah for a fantastic video.
Our pleasure!
My one & only trip to Yosemite was with the Luther League group in the winter of '64. We had cabins, but were snowed in & had limited time outdoors. The roads were clear enough for us to get out but by then, we were mostly confined to the cabins. Sigh. Some trip!---It's nice to travel along with you folks, in order to see what I've missed!
I’m SO HOMESICK!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you Jeff & Sarah for the Yosemite video! We used to celebrate our anniversary every year up there. We’d stay in Oakhurst and play golf at Wawona.
We’d play nine holes, stop for lunch at the Wawona Hotel dining room (so opulent) and then play another nine! It was wonderful. So many fond memories. Thanks again guys! Your biggest Tennessee (formerly California) fans! ♥️
A glorious place indeed. We usually camped in Tuolumme Meadows and ventured down to the valley to view the falls and especially Firefalls which was a big thing then. Thanks for travel log and historical notes.
I’ve been to Yosemite so many times and haven’t even seen half of what it has to offer. Thank you Jeff and Sarah, awesome video!
Our pleasure!
Love that place! Many great times camping..
I lived in Southern California for over 50 years but never got to visit Yosemite! Thank you for sharing this info and video of this beautiful place.
Fantastic!! Thank you. 9:40
Jeff and Sarah thank you so much for a wonderful video today. Yosemite National Park is really a beautiful area. Jeff I had the pleasure of meeting a gentleman that was from Cleveland Ohio who actually owned the rights to make Indian motorcycle bikes in the early 1950s, he and his family used to come up to the Henry Ford Museum and we would sit and have lunch outside in Greenfield Village. He died about 1998 and I lost contact with his family after that. Anyway have a great day thank you so much for sharing.
One of the greatest places on earth. I enjoyed that very much.
Couldn't agree more! Thanks!
Thanks for inviting me on your trip and being able to see this wonderful place as I am unable to go physically. But being part of your audience I not only get to see but also explained to me the various areas. Thanks.
As a former Bass Lake resident , Yosemite was like my "backyard". Been there many times! Loved this video. Thank you.
Our pleasure! Thank you for watching!
Love the videos! Really makes my day. TY, Jeff, Sarah and Aiden!
Such an awe-inspiring place. I've been to Yosemite twice; once with my family when I was very young, and once when I hosted a Japanese exchange student. It's a beautiful place! Thanks for taking your viewers for a visit.
Love that rustic 'PARKitecture 🤗🤗
6:50 Uh, NOPE
How refreshing this Yosemite visit has been! I can feel the waterfall spray from here! Top documentation, Jeff and Sarah! :D
Glad you enjoyed the spray!
@@jbenziggy 🌊🌊💦💦All the way across the pond! England needed the drenching! :D
Such a beautiful park!!! God's great creations!!
So many people are not be able to visit this wonderful beauty. Thanks to you for sharing Yosemite. ❤
My pleasure 😊 glad you enjoyed this!
Love this video! I passed through once back in the mid nineties on a road trip. I can remember seeing all the natural beauty and learning some of the history of the area. Watching this just reminds me that I need to take my family there on vacation. Aloha 🤙🏼
Extremely beautiful seeing Yosemite again I haven't seen it in years Thank you Jeff for sharing all this beauty Loved your video! Your number one fan Lou. Martell
Wow! Great video. Thanks.
What a beautiful and majestic place to see! The river and falls are exquisite! Thank ya'll for the trip!
Glad you enjoyed it!
This was very enjoyable, and interesting. Thank you so much, Jeff and Sarah for the info, visuals, and for bringing us sheer beauty... another great video 🏞🌲👏☀️
When I was a youngster, Memorial Day Weekend (4 days) was the "Boys Fishing Weekend". Dad would hitch up our little camp trailer and off to the mountains. We seemed to rotate between Mammoth Twin Lakes, Sequoia National Park, or Yosemite. At the risk of dating myself, last time I visited Yosemite, each evening, at dusk, we would find a spot with a good view of Glacier Point, and await that booming call: "LET... THE... FIRE.. FALL!"
Again, thanx for the memories!
The falls are beautiful Jeff. Lots of firsts at the Yosemite national Park. And the museum artifacts are very cool 😎. Thanks for your video. 💯❤️👍👊
Growing up in Southern California my family made many trips to Yosemite and Kings Canyon. Jeff thank you for sharing your trip. What a beautiful place❤
Thanks for watching, Lori!
Nice to see Le Conte mentioned. I taught campfire music there for 3 years and we always drop in when we are there. All of Yosemite has been fought for for over 100 years. John Muir fought to save Hetch Hetchie Valley from the SF water barrons but he lost and they built the dam and the water is piped to San Francisco. I've been going to Yosemite since I was 6 and I'm 83 now. I've backpacked all over the high country. It is a second home to us. Kudos to the Yosemite Conservancy for all the good work they do. P.S. Wawona hosts wonderful evenings in the hotel with Tom Bopp, a ranger/piano bar guy. He is one of a kind. He knows all kinds of songs & if asked he'l pull out a slide show of history of Wawona and or/ Curry.
Wonderful glimpse of your experience in the most beautiful place in California (in my opinion). It's a good thing those who went before us had the foresight to keep it as pristine as possible while allowing all of us to enjoy its sights and sounds. Thanks, Sandra!
Lucky to live so close to this wonderful place.
Yes we are blessed!
So much beauty and wonderful history here. Thank you for sharing.
Never been! But soon I will be there. Thank you for the video👍🏼
Beautiful falls. It’s on my bucket list to visit.
Thanks Jeff…I love the Yosemite videos. It’s a place I know I will never see for real but your videos give me great enjoyment and a sense that I am there.
Thanx for the "brought back memories " video. I loved the smell of the of the pines and the beautiful scenery.
Refreshing, enjoyed Jeff Sarah tampa fla
My dad worked for the government during WWII culling dead trees in Yosemite and knew Ansell Adams. I think because of my dad's great love of photography, I developed my own of the craft. Im 64 so of course Im refering to film and print photos and all that went with it. We used to stay every summer at Tuolumne Meadows at a camp ground run by the Sierra Club (when they were a camping organization). We used to find obsidian arrow heads all over the place. I miss those days... and my dad.
Jeff you really did this great! One of my favorite places on earth. I haven’t been able to get up there for quite some time. You always find those little nuggets that we either have forgotten about or didn’t really know they were there. Thank you thank you. 🤗💜🤟🏻😎🐬🫶 from your hometown Liz
If you like Yosemite National Park, you would probably also like Pere Marquette State Park in Grafton, IL near St. Louis.
Pere Marquette is a national park caliber state park. It has 8,000 acres of gorgeous wooded hills adjacent to the Illinois River.
It also has a beautiful, rustic, national park caliber lodge and cabins that were built by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) that opened in 1940.
The nearby stretch of Illinois Route 100, The Great River Road, between Alton, IL and Grafton is one of the most scenic drives in all of America and does not look anything like one would expect of Illinois.
This stretch of the Great River Road is immediately adjacent to the Mississippi River to the West and towering limestone bluffs to the East.
As a friendly heads up, please be forewarned that most other stretches of the Great River Road are nowhere near as scenic as this particular stretch.
Absolutely beautiful place thank you for taking us there
What a beautiful area .. ❤
Breathtaking views!
Awesome, the wonders of nature, miss traveling in the mountains, Thanks for sharing always a blessing
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed this!
Looks great !!!!!!
Thanks!!
Yosemite is a sacred place, respect it,aloha
Thanks Jeff for bringing back memories. I hiked the Yosemite trails back in the late Sixties and early seventies when I was a Boy Scout. Also bringing back those many souvenirs that were imprinted with the word "Yosemite." 😊
Beautiful and educational. I’ve driven through Yosemite but never stopped to learn about it.
You should! Take you time too!
Another great video, Jeff!
It's great to see all of the water we got this year.
Haven't been to Yosemite since I was a kid, from what I hear and see on video's its pretty crowded.
CA has some amazing landscapes. I love the eastern part of the Sierras, they're beautiful to fly over as well.
Great 👍 thanks Jeff 😊
Great video... Yosemite is one of the most beautiful places on earth. I just got back from a backpacking trip from Vincent Gap to Heaton Flats. We saw many down trees with rocks in the roots, water levels much higher than normal, water falls flowing more than normal, even some flowing that aren't normally flowing at all. Great video. Thank you for sharing. Take care Jeff. 🇺🇲
Breathtaking, thank you. ❤️Jodie 🇦🇺
You’re welcome 😊 Thank you for watching!

Awesome , the beautiful high waterfalls etc is awesome to see. those old mail boxes are old for sure we used to use one when i was a kid growing up my mom would go to the postoffice and get the mail from the box like the one you showed in this video. I enjoyed this so much jeff and sarah, thankyou for the awesome trip. and the photography you did was awesome. see you next time God bless.
Most every year I ride through Yosemite valley over Tioga Paas to the 395 at Lee Vining and Mono Lake. Then up through Virginia City and across to Shasta Lake.
The ride is always awesome inspiring as the Yosemite Valley is unmatchable in beauty and the venture over the pass is incredible!
Thank you for sharing your visit to Yosemite National Park! I'll never get to see a national park, but your video brought me there to see all the sunlit vistas.
I'm sorry to hear that you cannot visit this beautiful park. I am partial but to me it's the prettiest of national parks, maybe with the exception of the Grand Tetons in Wyoming!
Thank you for history of yosemite
Absolutely stunning video love it when you go here and the history was amzing but the views Wow Thankyou Jeff for sharing this beautiful video
Glad you enjoyed it, sir! Thanks a bunch!
Absolutely beautiful. Thank you once again for taking me with you. I grew up camping there. I remember the fire falls off glacier point, the bears that would walk through our camp, and mirror lake when it was a lake. Those were such good times. Thank you for the visit through memory lane as well as this beautiful visit.
Our pleasure! Thank you so much for joining this video.
Breathtaking Jeff !! Thankyou for this beautiful video ❤❤
Great video. I grew up in Fresno, in the 1960s, and my family made a number of trips to Yosemite. A truly beautiful place.
Couldn't agree more! Thanks!!
Beautiful!
Thanks!
Thank you so much for the donation to History Hunters! It’s much appreciated!
GR8 HH vid Jeff and Sarah! Love Yosemite but haven't been there for several years now, just WAY TOO MANY people and I can no longer hike the trails to get out of the valley. Thanks for the trip up there! ~Chris
Thank you Jeff for this facinating video. I'll most likely never see all of this in person, due to age(67) & illness.
Sorry to hear you are ill. No fun. Thanks for going along with us!! Blessings’
Man I love you guys! I left California yesterday after not being home for more than 30 years. There was one place on my list that I didn't get to go...
Thank you for finishing my list!
❤
That is awesome! Thanks for visiting Yosemite with us!
Absolutely gorgeous. This is my favorite place to go. Love to go through Lee Vining too. It is most enjoyable to finally get to Oakhurst. There is a small cemetery there that is cool.
Yosemite was my family's favorite place to vacation back in the mid 60tys. We stopped going when they stopped cars from driving around the Valley and made you go most places by shuttle bus
Thanks for this. I live Yosemite!
Heaven on earth
LOL 😆 I GREW UP IN ALTA California. We had mail boxes like that,in our Post office, in the early 60s. I haven't been there in many years, but the last time I was there, the original Post Office is gone. They built a new one in another location.. Thank you for sharing your beautiful road trips with all of us ❤️
Such beautiful scenery, thank you for taking us along. Stay Safe and Be Blessed Y'all.
Thank you! You too!

Thank you it was beautiful
My husband and I visited this park in 1975 and again in 1987. Loved both visits.
Wonderful video and great music.
Think you are the first utuber i follow that has filmed in a natural park since permits are required.
I always wanted to go to this beautiful place and enjoy nature as it should be seen, but I was not privileged to, now as an adult one of my dreams but I'm disabled and can't go. Looks wonderful and I'm glad you had a good time ☺️
Thank You ❤❤
Amazing history information, Jeff. Very nicely done.
Thank you kindly!
