Definitely will be trying this. Thanks for covering it. I've always wondered how their RTW survives....I rarely see anyone in the stores. In general, quite curious how brands that are more known for their clothing sustain themselves. They must need to sell truckloads of perfumes to pay the rent.
Great review! I am looking forward to trying it. I’ve only ever loved a couple of TFs, but the long-discontinued darling Japon Noir is one of them, and it really was utterly unique. This sounds like it might be of a similar mood. That said, the price on these is now to a point where I feel like I would be the butt of an inside joke if I actually paid it. You would really need to fall head over heels or have literally more money than you knew what to do with.
@@DaveNYC thanks! Yes that's the thing, to spend that kind of money I have to be really head over heels "can't live without it". I like this one, it's probably the best I've smelled from the brand in the last several years. But if I had $400 to burn there's about 100 other things I'd buy first.
Nice review as usual man. I like the bottle, price is absolutely insane though like most of the private blends are now. I have a recommendation though if you haven't trie it before, Jul et Mad Stairway to Heaven. It's a unique aldehydic fragrance. 💪
I tried this today and was shocked at how boring it was. The opening (literally the first minute TOPS) has a bit of a challenging varnishy smell. Sort of. It's kind of interesting. And then it's straight to the woody aroma chemical/incense drydown. Wtf?
I don't really care for the Tom Ford fragrances. They often smell like something I have smelled before and the price point is too much for me. I did own the sadly discontinued Jonquille de Nuit that I adore, but I don't think it will be released again, if it does it will probably not be the same.
I think alot of people may feel like that. I own a few select TF fragrances, one of which is Tobacco Oud. I honestly think it is near masterpiece quality.
Spot on! I feel pretty much the same on everything TF. You are distinctive in what you do here. I really like it.
@@marhoc6040 thank you!
Sounds interesting, might actually consider sampling after being completely done with the private blend. Thanks!

I'd like try it but their prices are outrageous

@@cheapimitation2242 I just did the math, and if Chanel was priced the same per ml., the large Exclusifs would be $1620! Insanity.

Great Review. I also share similar feelings about Tom Ford fragrances. I remember liking Plum Japonais.
@@frankangel2833 thanks! I don't think I ever tried that one but it does sound nice.
