Woods, spicy, bourbon and vanilla. This is a dream if you’re searching for a unique take on a vanilla fragrance. Current favorite!
I Don't Know What by DS & Durga sbird.co/43NwVMv
For those who don’t like fragrance and just prefer to smell fresh with a slight aromatic herbal clean scent, this one is office appropriate, unisex, and it will boost any other fragrances and make them last longer.
Forever Florence by Glasshouse sbird.co/
3CiuTs3
Peach, Pear, Peony, such a vibrant citrus, floral fresh fragrance. Soft and dries down to more of a skin scent. Really beautiful for spring/summer
Tamarindo by Memo Paris sbird.co/435WbN9
In love with this. Tropical but nighttime. It gives the vacation on a beach vibe but dries down to a spicy woodsy fragrance that I find perfect for date night.
Jamaica by Nateeva sbird.co/3XAhjKg
Imagine vacation in Jamaica but not just tropical, sunscreen vibes, there is also the earth. The vetiver note gives the actual land beyond the initial burst of beach vibes.
Moon Glory by The Harmonist sbird.co/3PDsUqg
Very sweet summer fragrance. Gives nighttime tropical vibes but the dry down serves dessert. Floral with Hawaiian Jasmine and a base of delicious honey.
I signed up for it!! I’m excited! Thank you! 😊
I would really like to visit this place, but unfortunately I live in England, so a part two would be perfect Erin xx❤
Scentbird is fantastic! It actually helped me determine that I’m not a fan of what I thought I was at all! And at such a great price point, it can’t be beat. Love the addition of the Saks Fifth Avenue ones. Thanks to Scentbird, I was able to find my new signature scent after two kids!
Congrats on the sponsor, Erin! You deserve it. ♥️
I love scentbird so much! I need to branch out though because I keep getting the original Michael Kors scent, Sport by Hope & Memoire Archives by Garden Party. I tend to go for floral fragrances, but I might have to try one that’s on your list
I forgot to ask, where is this museum? In CA?
Please make this into a show! I could watch and listen to you talk about perfume and makeup history for hours.
I wish I could! Hope to get the money to do so, if I can keep getting some amazing sponsors 😊
Please let all of us know if there’s a way we can help! You have a very large audience already being captivated by your enthusiasm and knowledge and I’m pretty sure most of is would love to be able to help in any small way to be able to see more videos from you! 🤗🥰 maybe make a petition? Or a kickstarter?
KICKSTARER AND DO IT YOURSELF! Your audience is CRAZY about you. There’s not a single content creator I would give money to expand their social media world except for you. Make a kickstarter to do a pilot at least?♥️♥️ that you can showcase and at the same time prove you have a loyal audience!
no not a show, theres cons to that. She would have far less control over her content. People think a tv show is the end all be all and its not. She would be on contract and stuck. It would have consequences for her.
This is such a high quality documentary. I love listening to you asking all those fascinating questions. Plus all this great cinematography. I wish I could like this video more than once. Thank you and everyone involved in making this documentary. ❤
This gentleman was so passionate. Two people thoroughly enjoying this collection and nerding over it is just 👌🏻👌🏻
Right I can only imagine how honored they are by the knowledge and appreciation Erin shared
Isn't it the best? How something is shared is as important as what is shared❤
I love interactions live this between people about any subject!
Anthropologist here - deep worship bow to a fellow lover of all that humans see as beauty. Erin is a Beauty Anthropologist and I can't think of anything more lovely. 🌹
Love that-- "Beauty Anthropologist"! People have to understand beauty rituals were a part of the history of humans as well.
Great episode Erin! ❤❤❤
Love anthropology, my grandmother is a professor who taught me so much, kind of made me more interested in the history of humans and the beauty of humans
👍🙏😍
My grandmother was born in 1881; happily, I am the only grand daughter so I inherited all her (and her mother’s) boudoir and vanity items. From ornate silver items for grooming to parfumerie bottles and jars. This video is especially wonderful to me - but everything you do is so enchanting and romantic to me! Thank you so much for sharing!
I am so unbelievably jealous!!!! I bet they're breathtaking
Oh my gosh! I bet your collection is absolutely incredible, what a real treasure. It would be incredible to see your collection! If you ever decide to share it to social media via a video or photographs please come back and let us know!
You lucky, I'm adopted into "less is more" and I get nothing base with upper notes of selflessness is godliness.
Erin is a genius at what she does. Not only a gifted makeup artist, she’s a scientist and has the most calming voice. Congrats doll 🍭
Awww Thankyou! 🤗!
@@erinparsonsmakeup I’m starstruck! Ty for replying 🥹 I’ve been struggling a lot lately with anxiety. Your videos help put me in trance and I zone out. I can’t thank you enough for being my comfort channel.
same! I was shocked when I once left a comment which I never do on UA-cam, and Erin answered! ❤ On top of her talents she also seems like a very nice and down to earth person
For me it’s the way that she appreciates the history behind everything she’s interested in so how did it become to be like that how did the formula change this take on make up or the beauty industry is exactly what UA-cam needed it is so refreshing.
@repentandbelieveinJesusChrist1 Jesus is not God there can only be one God worship Allah alone do you not associate partners to him do you not say that he had a child that he did not have do not belittle God to a bear man he was once born of a woman.
That’s a start for you
Oh my god the cinematography!!! Another smash Ms Parsons! ❤
Wooo! Thanks to my cinematographer Arthur 🤩
Agreed! Erin has such class ❤
Agreed. Great decision Erin! Makes this an even more enjoyable video. You are really using your artistry in a whole new way with your videos. You could tell you were slightly unsure of this medium in the beginning, your confidence grows over the months and now you appear as if you have been doing this a long time. Phenomenal journey so far and waiting patiently for the next! Xoxo S!

Now this is why I hold you in the highest regard. You’re the only beauty related creator I’m even remotely interested in anymore. Your work, your knowledge, your tastes are immaculate!
I absolutely loved this episode! I’m 63 & I am a retired clinical psychologist, all of my life I have worn good quality perfume, no matter how broke I was🤫 I promised myself that my the scent of my fragrance would remind me of my career & personal ambitions. My fragrance preferences have evolved & become more sophisticated, especially now that I’m an old lady🤣 I have always kept my empty fragrance bottles & I have some beautiful old bottles & solid perfume compacts. This episode was beautifully produced & I learned so much♥️
As a newer psychologist (8 years in!) I love this advice. Thank you for sharing such wonderful insight.
I agree, though plenty of great quality perfumes are inexpensive!
What a delightful private pleasure, it must have grounded you or helped you escape through such work!
I love how encouraging he was at the perfume organ, “there’s no such thing as a bad combination”!
Perfume is very personal, what is a "bad" scent combo to one person may be wonderful to someone else for instance because it evokes scents from their childhood home. And that's not even dipping into the genetic differences into being able to smell different specific molecules.
When did you start doing documentaries, Erin!? This wouldn’t be out of place on the BBC. Amazing content as usual. Actually, more amazing than usual! Impeccable.
If only BBC would give me a show 😅 🤞
@@erinparsonsmakeupthey should!
I would agree that this really needs to be pitched to them, its right up the bbc’s street and they love an expert presenter
@@erinparsonsmakeupOne of these days you’re gonna be scooped up by the BBC or a streaming giant-you’re amazing and your content is divine! ❤❤
I am a perfume bottle collector and compacts for so many years, I’m 65 and I have never seen a collection like this. This is the most fabulous video I’ve ever seen. Must visit this
Could you please do a video where you go through your fragrance collection? Even if it has to be in three parts, I'd LOVE to watch you talk about what you love to wear the most often and share some anecdotes about each beloved bottle. Thanks Erin for this ravishing video, you looked so gorgeous in it too. Perfection every time.
Can't believe Erin partnered with A24 studios to film this !!! That camera work !! omg 💛💛😩
Two of my fav people ever!
Absolutely stunning! ✨ The cinematography, the historical information.. Bravo, Erin! All of your content is just absolutely so much fun to watch! 🩷
I’m so happy you love it too! 🤩
Agreed
Omg that story about Charley Ross gave me goosebumps.. it generated such an iconic saying but I’d never heard the story before!
Absolutely ADORE this!! Erin Parsons you have created such an incredible mini documentary here about one of my favourite things in the world. Scent. Fragrance. Parfum. Would love to see you doing full hourly documentaries about history via fragrance, make up and fashion. You have a way of explaining what you are experiencing that is very immersive for the viewer. A natural story teller. Thank you.
If Erin ever comes out with her own makeup and perfume I will literally have no money left to my name
Omg I KNOOWWWW!!!! 😂
Hopefully she will be able to eventually!!!
This is a breath of fresh air for the WHOLE beauty community!!!! This is beauty, this is passion, this is professionalism at its finest!!!!! Bravo Erin!!!!!!
NO DRAMA, NO JEALOUSY, NO HATE!! JUST LOVE FOR THE HISTORY OF MAKE UP!!
@@marym4616no histrionics and no playing up some sassy character either (ie not acting like an adult)
She is not the beauty community. She is a beauty professional with a decent industry job that she is actually good at. She doesn’t need to create drama, cry and gossip on social media to create so much drama she gets eyes that are confused as respect. Her talent is what gets her respect.
@@violetverdict3760 this right here!!
Erin would be the biggest sentinel for this museum. They should just let her live there because she would quite literally guard every bottle in there with her LIFE. She looked so happy and honored to be there 🥹♥️
I love this channel so much, not only are you a phenomenal make up artist, but as a huge history and vintage lover, it‘s absolutely astonishing and fascinating that I can time travel through your content. Something very rare and hard to come by in this generation and today‘s content creators. You‘re definitely a rare gem and I am so grateful and thankful you and your amazing youtube channel exist. This video was so beautiful to watch, like a movie. It was absolutely amazing I truly enjoyed it very much❤️
O M G!!!!! This has to be one of my ALL time favorite videos. I’ve been an avid UA-cam watcher for years! This is absolutely magnificent. I had no idea such a jewel existed. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing this, Erin. I will watch it over and over! ❤

C'mon miss Erin giving us a high quality content that feels illegal to watch for free!
Even the sponsorship is one of the best ideas I've seen on UA-cam
As a perfume lover I'm in awe
Omg, did I just watch a curated documentary with Erin Parsons? Loved the video! I didn't want it to end!
😅 yes sort of, I wish I could have made it even longer. Will def try to bring more like this, I loved creating it! Thanks for the kind words 🤗
I am sick with Covid and have been binge watching your videos all day. This one I didn’t want to end… you are so nice to everyone and humble and fascinating. Thank you.
So sorry to hear this, Ida. Hope this finds you on the mend now.
Erin,
I’m an autistic adult who really struggled with the overstimulation of personal hygiene (mostly showers the water, smells, temperature changes etc.) it’s actually thanks to you & your passion that I went on a journey of finding what scents I enjoy to make it easier & go smoother. The hard part now is figuring out how to make the scents last longer for me.
Same here! I find myself sticking to a "signature" perfume for a while because trying to find a new scent I like amongst all the samples can overstimulate me 😅
I know the texture on your skin may be too much for you but oil traps and prolongs scent so maybe if you put a light dash of baby oil or something on areas you spray fragrance and rub it in well it will hold the fragrance for longer 😊
Instantly clicked on!! Not only because I love your videos but I LOVE LOVE LOVE perfume! Not even 2 mins in and I am loving the cinematography style. Great job, Erin!! I love it. ❤
Thankyou so much! I put a lot into this one and I feel really proud 🥹 couldn’t wait to share with you all!

You could have made a documentary about this and I’d watch the whole thing. These are things I’d never know about otherwise. Fascinating and beautiful, both you and the perfume. Also, your shoes are SO cute.
I think I have to do a part 2 😊there’s just so much more to cover, incredible place!
