The way he described certain chords as "heavenly" or "sad" without knowing the name of the chord ("That's a D chord?") shows his natural musical talent essential for creating music. Also demonstrated by how comfortable he was with a 12 string and keyboards. He probably could pick up any instrument and start exploring where to find the scale on it. RIP Andy, we love ya man.

And so THAT battle would have begun...once that corporate music world would have gotten ahold of him. *same with Kurt Cobain...'they' almost force that image crap on you...you have to ALWAYS 'BE ON' They don't let you breathe 🥀 Andrew was made to play his beautiful music...not perform/grind... for the 'corporate' world Andrew was a sensitive soft soul He loved.
A lot of younger fans of grunge have no idea Andy most likely would’ve taken the spot that Kurt Cobain has if he lived. Apple was an amazing album that would’ve blown up on MTV without a doubt. Also anyone that remembers the vibe of MTV back then realize Andy and MTV would have fit like hand in glove. Like his friend said in the documentary Andy was always “on” and very charming. Not to mention the impact he would’ve had on music. Unlimited potential
Yeah right haha. I'm still looking for one song this guy was a part of that didn't sound predictable & mundane. Cobain was a revolutionary. sorry but this guy couldn't begin to be relevant in the scene that would go global. I'm not a troll I've just resisted as long as I can by seeing all these comments by people that clearly don't know what great music is. Maybe MLB was ok at best.

he was wet worked, his overdose was administered by a shady dude who non of his friends trusted or liked, then he was taken to the hospital where 9 hours of nurse notes went missing before he "died". they got him. the agents that control the industry could see he had the potential to direct everything on a path that was inconvenient to their plans.
I knew about the absolute eff ups at the hospital, that he was recovering only to crash out of nowhere and multiple nurse mistakes likely the cause but I'd never heard he didn't fix alone that day. Can you subtly point in the direction where I might find more detail on that?
That first piece of music he plays on the keyboard in this video is a song off the Andrew Wood solo album, Memories & Dreams. The song is called My Star. It’s a great track!

Very true. But I think the " that's a D chord? " was a joke tho, haha. I think he knew. He was a musical genius and a great songwriter. RIP
The things this guy could have contributed to music and life in general are beyond measure?seems like a truly good soul.
I totally agree

He was so cute, he had so much talent, and he has this beautiful vibe,i just look at him or listen to his voice, and makes me soo happy!
I'm straight and yet I'll admit he's the only man I've ever came across and thought there's something beautiful about Andrew Wood
Sigh...Andrew, you left us way too soon, so much talent. You were truly the Golden Child from Mt. Olympus.

So much charisma! Too bad we never really got to know him. There’s so much more to a soul than the addiction that ravages the mind and the flesh.

Cute boy , really miss You 😔
so neat of a guy taken really early!
It's the saddest of keys...........
Sounds similar to the ending melody of Black by Pearl Jam. Wonder if they used it as a tribute to him
Landrew from Mt. Olympus!!! For those interested check out his posthumous record Melodies and Dreams! 🤘👺
I’ve heard the songs in Heaven are all in the key of D.
Is the song he's playing around with on the 12 string Bloody Shame? I can't find any lyrics or chords/tabs
It's weird I have alot of his traits him playing reminds me of me. I just got into him and I was burning 90
