There’s a raw version of Apple, but, I doubt it’ll ever be officially released unless there’s a 35th anniversary edition or something similar. Andy left that behind amongst his private vault, but, I don’t know if Xana still has that. If she doesn’t, there’s 2 people who might. But, I’m told 1 of them is being difficult, as I understand it. Same person who has MLB’s sole live take on “Dollar Short”. Scot Barbour is the other.
@@Fakename70 Damn if there’s a raw version of Apple it’s my life’s goal to hear it. Maybe it’ll get dropped in Bandcamp at some point with Andrews other works? They may not though, especially if they think there’s no audience.
It really makes me sad that Wood didn't get to live long enough to change a decade. instead it was Cobain & Nirvana, although their contribution wasn't all that bad. I guess that the bad part is that their memory is just going to fade away. although pearl jam was born, and Chris Cornell & Eddie Vedder made an album is his memory. pjvideoguy Props 4 upload & mad respect if you got to go to that show
+DB “Scratch” de' Rosas people always say that andrew wood's death was the reason behind the "dark cloud" hovering over the seattle scene. although kurt cobain didn't have much of a connection to andrew wood himself, he knew his brother kevin wood. the rest of those guys, especially in alice in chains' case, kind of took it to heart, thus creating probably one of the saddest and most death ridden music scenes in all of our history. its crazy to think what kind of music would have came out of seattle had andrew wood been alive.
I don't think Cornell ever got over losing his soul brother, and that ultimately it was too much for him. I think about those two guys a lot. Kurt was a bit of a wanker but Chris and Andrew, man, those were real people. RIP boys, hope you've found each other.
ya Andrew wood was singing somewhere in Seattle and kurt Cobain was sitting there in a chair front stage and Andy was singing to just him bc ppl had left or was milling around, but kurt said I like that guy it was cool"
@Victor020988 His co-lead guitar never gets any mention for some reason. He and that wah-wah were integral to the band more than casual listeners realise.
He was the lead guitarist MLB and Green River his name is Bruce Fairweather he is underrated, Steve Turner (Mudhoney)even admitted that Bruce saved Green River after he left due to disagreements with what Stone and Jeff wanted vs what Steve wanted and when Bruce came in he canceled it all out and that’s how badass songs like 10000 Things v2, You’re Own Best Friend and This Town got made
It’s crystal clear that Bruce Fairweather’s girlfriend was the camera operator.
There's nothing fair and noble in music world anymore. Missing you, Lovechild.
I wish I was there so much ....
Damn didnt know Andy was the one who composed the song via piano!
Great recording of one of my favorite mlb songs.
Raw. Really raw and not talking about the recording. I would have loved to enjoy that progression!
Charles Stone
Now, grab your copy of Apple and convince yourself it isn't polished by comparison. And, not in a good way, either.

It would (Wood?) have been better. I enjoyed almost all the songs on "Apple", but I can't stand Pearl Jam.

Sarah Boller I read the same thing somewhere, too. Where was that article from?? Wasn’t it at the Central Tavern or somewhere?
one of my favorite MLB songs, thanks for this live version! And no-one's gonna change my love for you

Fakename70 Are talking about SG?
