If I were a film director I would have made a feature film about this guy. All his life he just wanted to be popular and then died a few days before he became a huge world star. Absolutely amazing!

It's a documentary but with a movie feel. I found it on a site called Daily Motion. It was awesome!! Hope you get to watch , much love !
The only performer I know of with at least four songs written about him, a band formed that was named after a song lyric he wrote. He was & will always be a legendary star. A beautiful man whose life was cut short, the first of the Seattle singers to die.

I Love Mother Love Bone. Many here on the East Coast have never heard their jams. Im 58 & still jam out to them. It was a true loss to lose legends & friends like Andrew Wood & Chris Cornell. Some fantastic talant!
Andrew Wood and Bradley Nowell.....two burdgeoning legends who were on the cusp of breakout success who lost everything to heroin. Just imagine what they would have done over their careers and the music we would have right now.

I think his soul was just to old and beautiful for this world. Thank you, Andrew W. and all of the Love Bone tribe for the eternal gifts of the music you gave us!

Yeah!! I thought it was interesting that Layne Staley was in a glam rock band (Alice N Chains) too before forming the Alice in Chains that we knew with Jerry Mike and Sean

No offence to Pearl Jam but Mother Love Bone could have been bigger. Andy was a huuuge loss. So young with so much talent and charisma. RIP Andy
I disagree. Without eddie around to battle Stone, mlb would not have evolved but pushed the glam way. Andy was great and charismatic but Vedder was and is better. Stone and jeff were around for a while. Andys death forced them to evolve with totd and ten with eddie pushing.
