You can't turn off emotions. However, you can learn to not let emotions control you by accepting what your currently feeling and controlling how you respond to it.
I've only used foundation about 5 times in my acne life experience. It never made me feel better. It just made the acne look worse. I have learned to care for myself better. I exercise, eat better and just tell myself I am beautiful.
Such an interesting topic! I have been struggling with this for a year or two and, at the age of 27, I made the decision to throw away all my makeup. I didn't enjoy using it and was only wearing it for other people, it just felt like a chore. I don't care if others wear it or don't but it didn't feel authentic for me. At times it hasn't been easy to go makeup free and feel confident but I'm happy with the decision I made. Now I do my skincare for me, because I enjoy it, and try not to worry about other proples opinion on if I should be wearing makeup or not. Still a work in progress!
I would have had a similar kind of edgy style that Ro was talking about as a teenager, but stoped dressing like that in my late teen and early 20s as I got a lot of unwanted male attention in the form of cat calling. So digging deeper into it I have started dressing a bit more edgy again and I am now 26, I realised that I stopped dressing the way I wanted in order to protect myself from the male gaze at a young age, and hiding what actually made me feel like myself
To be honest I really enjoyed listening to this even on Apple podcast and Spotify because I feel the same way of going through anxiety. When I tell people about my anxiety they just don’t understand ,most of them understand and some don’t understand but still it hard to overcome it listening to this is more comforting and thank you really I am looking forward to the other podcast episode can’t wait
When I started to get acne around 11 or 12, my interest in skincare began. However, my interest in K-beauty was only about 10 or more years ago. Now as a nearly 42 year old Korean-American woman, I’m glad I took preventive steps (not just skincare) to slow down aging from the inside out. Here in the U.S., I’m often mistaken for being in my 20s. However, that probably wouldn’t happen in S. Korea though. 😅
could you give me a cleanser and toner recommendation for oily combo skin? (i still can't find a perfect one for me) both of you are way too beautiful for this world❤ thank u for all the work you do❤❤❤❤❤❤
You both are so amazing and beautiful! Great topic, thanks! Fel, have you shared somewhere in the videos on this channel how had you cleared acne with skincare?
I think also considering what is considered “professional” has also been influenced by the white men you were mainly in that space before (in America at least)
A little of topic, but i have dark circles and a little bit a smile lines while I'm still 13. I want to ask should i add products to my routine (if yes pls give some affordable recommendations) or should i stick to "natural" methods like hot towels and that kinda stuff?
As a black woman in education, I know I get treated differently in the world based on how I present myself.
love how this channel turned into my therapy
It’s so nice to see both of you in one screen again!

I've found lots of them. Saying hello to bingewatching) Thank you girls
Respectability politics really impact how we present in the world.
Can you plsssss make a skin care routine for combination skin with closed comedone ❤️❤️❤️
I think also considering what is considered “professional” has also been influenced by the white men you were mainly in that space before (in America at least)
glow with ava😂 that’s the surprise
What was the ghost emoji that scared me 😮
As a gay man i feel like i relate to the male gaze
The krave formulation has changed and it feels more like a moisturizer in my skin. Do you have any other cleanser recommendations for dry skin
First! Thank you!
