So, the house building tools are semi procedural. It reminds me of Sketch Up but this is much more powerful. What about polygon control to keep the final design in quadrangles? I imagine the circle window would create a multi sided face that could cause problems with a game engine.
Apparently house builder doesn't work correctly in R21.From Help: Tip: Note that problems can occur when using older Content Browser data if it uses functions no longer available in the current software version (e.g., the Knife tool or House Builder). In such instances, use the Content Browser data from the current software version.
Thanks for the tutorial. Looks like there is a little bug. The floor molding is disappearing when I include holes for windows and doors. In you tutorial, looks like this bug is also there. At some point there are no floor moldings.
Im currently trying to make a 2 floored building using the house builder. :P but i cant delete the floor where the stairs should be. can you tell me what i can do to fix it?
I believe it's part from C4D Visualize. If you have either this version or the Studio version you'll need to install the content libraries as well during installation. If you only install the base software you won't see it in the content browser.
why am i unable to just transform my rooms? i can just change everything at once, meaning that when i want to make a 5x5m room to a 5x10m room it will be 10x10m, cause i cant transform single walls?

How do you apply texture to the outer walls?

No sadly. So I shipped the prebuilt function and made the buildings from the bottom :)
