    Hi Pete, interesting video once again and both guns look very well made and are finished to a good quality, I'm looking forward to see how the Finer Force sprays seeing as it's a new version and has a slightly different aircap design maybe it will lay the clear better not that there is anything wrong with the old one🤷‍♂😊
    Do Meiji make a split tip design mate🤔I think if they did it would be a really nice clear gun with the finer atomisation but it might be slower as they all seem to be. I remember when you sent me the Finer Core which is another gun that I loved as it sprayed perfectly with hardly any setting up or getting used to how it worked was needed👌
    Thanks Pete👍

      Hi John, No, Meiji doesn't do a split tip gun, I'm assuming that's because the Anest Iwata patent is still present.
      I'm guessing that it can not be enforced in China and Taiwan as that's the only place that seems to make them.
      To be fair to Meiji, these guns atomise very fine, so I am not sure anything would be gained.
      I am genuinely pleased that BSS has bitten the bullet and bought the Meiji brand over to the UK.
      You know the UK industry quite well, and we are very blinkered as to the choice we have. At least now there's a genuine alternative to the usual names with a high-quality Japanese manufacturer , cheers mate 👍

    Great Vid Pete as always. Im going for the Finer Force R as a home diyer😊. Do by any chance the side Cups from Meiji and Iwata interchangable?

    • @peteshobbies5383
      @peteshobbies5383  4 місяці тому

      Hi Mate, yes, they are interchangeable. They both have a 1/4 BSP reception, you have the bigger Iwatas, the W200 and Kiwami2 side cups, they won't fit as they use a bigger thread, 3/8 , but the W101, Kiwami1, LPH50 etc all fit the Meiji, and the other way round of course 👍

    Definitely agree on the Meiji's performance and build quality! It definitely worth every penny! I really enjoy using my Finer 2 Plus. I tested it with metallic, clear and 1k direct glass and the results were fantastic. It provides great atomisation, low air consumption, lighter weight when it is compared to a full-sized gun. I am totally fine with its smaller size, slower and side cup and I know it is not for everyone. Can't wait to have the Meiji Finer Force B and T and Finer Core into my collection.

      It's good to see Meiji branching out of Asia. Many people haven't heard of them until recently, and they tended to keep to their home market . Thankfully, that's now changing, cheers mate 👍

      Hi Benjamin, I was rather late getting the Finer 2 plus and the F Zero Type C. Both are superb tools.
      I'm a big fan of the Anest Iwata Kiwami1 rang, the W101 eventual replacement, but the Meiji just has the edge on performance and is built better, cheers mate 👍

    Pete, this raises an important point for me. Just used and cleaned my "R" for the first time. Which way around does the nozzle gasket go? Long leg to the outside (tip side) or short leg to the outside? It's not obvious.

    How would you compare the finer force type R to this type C? Is there any difference to why to choose one over the other? What affect does the lower air pressure have to overspray? Is it good for base and clear or how do you see it?

    • @peteshobbies5383
      @peteshobbies5383  4 місяці тому +1

      Hi Mate, I've literally just got it, so I don't have all the answers yet, certainly less overspray, but it's slower, if it's as good as the F Zero C it'll be great 👍

    Off Topic - Regarding the Kiwami-1-13-KP6 I can't find any information on this gun and/or how it differs from the Kiwami-1-13B4. Do you know anything about these models?

    Hi. Could you recommend a spray gun for $50-60? I'm wondering between ntools GTI Pro and ntools 4000B. Unless I can get something better at this price?

    • @peteshobbies5383
      @peteshobbies5383  5 місяців тому

      Hi mate, no, they are very similar in price, but the Finer Force seems to put out more material, so I think they will spray a little differently.
      The F Zero C is excellent and is helped by the lower pressure needed, as will the Finer Force C I expect
