I love your style of video. It's like you are letting us in on an intimate talk between you two. I just love it. Thankyou for taking time out of your life to share with us!
I love the sharing of conversation back and forth as well. It is so soothing. And your drone and photography skills, plus peaceful music, just make your videos food for the soul.
At the end of each of your videos I say to myself, "Oh! It's over already?" I just want it to go on and on, lol! I have a lot of catching up to do. I'm wondering what your husband does for work. You mention him working, but I've got lots of videos to watch to learn more of your life. And I don't know what Doterra is. Maybe that's in another video? I'll look around. Just wanted to let you know how much I'm loving your videos and your family. :) (Retired grandma from northern, rural Minnesota.)
Aah! Yellow Crocus! That’s what I search for daily... The emergence of green spikes, then the plump bud... Then the morning of surprise when the crocus are open! Spring in Mid Michigan! Michigan Garden Girl
Hi there the elliot family I've been watching you're vids since Nov 2018 and I thought I so enjoy them I might as well subscribe you have a beautiful family .I watched the video 3 mths ago and you were peeling parsnips and your husband mentioned he visited Coventry in England I'm in Birmingham which is about 10 15 min train ride I've been to Coventry many times but my family are irish so farming to us is natural keep up the video you have a special way of narrating your vids and you're homestead is beautiful with the mountains in the background how healthy for your children god bless .
Happy Anniversary! I was in Seatle with my daugher in October. We also rented a truck and drove to Mt. Ranier. I loved that area. We stayed at The Copper Creek cabins.
Seattle looked so gorgeous in your clips of it, I almost forgot how hellish the traffic is there, LOL (lived there in the grunge early 90's but I am now in Tacoma.) It has been so warm on the westside the last couple of weeks that I planted early tomatoes outside under fleece yesterday. Good luck with your big shindig.
I discovered Molbak's a year ago when my mother-in-law took me there. I didn't want to leave, love that place, but it's a bit far from where I live. My husband and I moved to the North West Coast of Washington to a little town in near the Skagit Valley and love it so much. We moved from California where I was born and raised for a much simpler life and would not ever go back to CA with all the greenery and beauty here. I love the change of season and discovering a new rhythm for life in the PNW. I've been watching your channel and am now subscribed because I need to learn to preserve what I harvest, and ways to become more self sufficient by using the land. I have been developing our own veggie garden and so far lots of success and some failures. Now I am learning how to preserve what we harvest. Any tips on what to do with an abundance of potato's? (fingerling, purple, red)
That grocery haul looked really great. I have never seen a grocery haul that was relaxing. I know that may sound weird. But I would love to grocery shop like that
Just found you.....and the two of you have the best voices around....so soft and relaxing. Love this video and I subscribed and rang the bell. Look forward to watching all of your adventures....tomorrow. It's 2:45am and I need my beauty sleep.
Just stumbled across your channel and immediately subscribed! I love your videos so much! My husband and I are buying our 1st house out in the country and we are so excited at the thought of growing our own food one day soon!
LOVE LOVE LOVE Azure Standard!!!!! Recently (re) discovered them after forgetting I had ordered from them years ago! So excited for you that the snow is finally melting! I just harvested a RIDICULOUS amount of winter lettuce today....here in Santa Barbara County we have NO seasons! But I love watching yours and I really DO believe it makes one appreciate the Spring season even more! Have fun with all your dT ladies!!!! Hoping one day I'll be there too!!! xoxo www.asubstantiallife.com
What beautiful video and obviously a great 10 yr anniversary trip!. I am glad you had a good get away and we got a GREAT VLOG! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY and thank you for today. I hope your business meeting goes well. The women are going to have a wonderful time!
There's something nice about watching a channel like this and realize that yall are (somewhat) local, I watch a few channels like Elliot Homestead and they're all over TX, AZ, VA etc and it's idk it's got this sense of familiarity that the other channels don't have even if I enjoy them.
Can't get enough of your videos ! When I yard sale and find something great, I tell myself, Shaye would love this ! Latest find is a gorgeous chandelier that holds 72 crystals. It'll take a long time to find all those crystals but it's fun ! I like having something going to keep me busy. Thank you all for sharing your beautiful life with us.
Yay for Spring! So glad to see that you had a lovely anniversary getaway and returned refreshed and welcomed by your garden. Stu is getting amazing shots with that new drone! I pick-up my Azure order later today, I love Azure day!
What a luvly video, really enjoyed watching. Very interesting to see your grocery haul, its nice that you grow your own food and I like the way you give your dairy herd a break from milking & mommy duties. BTW luvved your dress you wore for your city trip, and your eyebrows look Bomb!!
I'm into all those high end groceries too, but don't buy frequently due to the high cost. I can't imagine all your followers are people who can afford to buy such goods on a regular basis. I wonder if you could suggest some comparable alternatives to stock the pantry?
I love your vidios. You are living my life. Its wonderful how you both have the same dream. I have been married for 40 years and my husband and I are as opposite as one can get. He loves the sea, I love the mountains and farm life. We just cant ever do what you guys are doing. God bless your family. One thing I must mention is how well you guys eat. You must spend a fortune on food every month. How can you guys afford such wonderful food and look after your young family?
I grew up going to Molbak's with my mom. During the holiday season they decorate multiple Christmas trees in their shop and its just magic everywhere you look. Molbak's is a tiny slice of heaven.
Love your videos...so peaceful and joy filled. Love Azure too - hardly order now as there are only 2 of us. Miss the days when the kids were home. BTW , we don't have a homestead , live in AZ with artificial turf now but still love watching your family and the homestead.
I order doterra I just heard u mention it I just started ordering about 6 months ago just starting to figure out how to use them oh I love the home stead I'm trying my self to do home stead things I have chickens and a pet inside pig and 2 dogs I grow some foods u have a beautiful place
Amazing! I look forward to your video's -they are entertaining, educational and encourages me to cook, work in yard (plus garden). I noticed you cook with copper pans and cast iron. Would you recommend a "novice" cooking with copper pans? What type of knifes would you recommend? Have you thought about writing a book? Please, keep the updated videos coming our way--March 2020 was the latest version? Thank you for sharing
Beautiful! Loved the overview of your homestead. It’ll be fun to see how it comes to life and evolves through the seasons. I enjoyed the grocery haul. After the video where you said you ‘may, or may not’ have placed a haul from Azure I was intrigued. Something I’ve been thinking about it as I don’t like shopping. ha! I missed my cut off date this time for our drop. I was having trouble with my log-in. I will have time to get it worked out before next month. Once again, thank you for a lovely video. 😃
I have loved Azure, but so they have no idea how to run an on-line company and still seem to think that the old grocery store "stock and hope" works! Even Walmart uses their software to look at what customers want. If Azure would only attach food to orders as the orders come in, it would not be "out" at the very last minute. I have tried ordering everything in every variation just hoping to get some of what I want, that is usually the time I get it all and then have a storage nightmare. I have sadly given up on Azure, I need to have some idea what I can actually receive from them and it is lots less hassle to buy everything elsewhere. I have written Azure, I have called, others have complained too....I would hate for Azure to go out of business, because they can't seem to get good software to link customers with product, but I guess that might happen. (Just a side note, Wayfair actually runs and make money because of using great software to link customers and product....Azure could too and give Amazon/Whole foods a real challenge!) Sorry to hijack this...just hate to see a good company go down because it won't change.
can you make a sandwich bread and or soup bowl with Einkorn? (maybe that's a request, hmmmm) anyway low gluten or no gluten and tasty. trying to get wheat flour out of my diet again. sigh

Informative vid .....never knew about Azurestandard.com....they have lots of good stuff....thanks. Also, your "WATCH MY LATEST OIL CLASS:" link is not supporting the vid working properly....not sure what is happening with that.
Hello, I am just finding your site and am a new sub, question, are you guys in the pac nw? like gig harbor? some of your pictures looked like point defiance park? ruston? just wondering....I will be watching a bunch of your vids, as I am thinking of air b and b (ing?) when we get our property, if its possible. Hope I can learn a bunch from you. thanks
I heard your located in Seattle! My husband and I live in Gig Harbor. We moved here last June from California, and we’re starting our own little homestead. Learning so much! Looks like you survived snowmageddon! Looking forward to seeing your vlogs!
I am thinking about ordering some stuff from that place, but I want to know if you are being compensated by this company or if you get a percentage from orders made through your link? It makes me a little apprehensive when that type of information is in the description or discussed up front in the video.
There are just so many people on this platform that make links to various companies proclaiming how great they are. Many turn out to not be what the people claim in the videos and they don't let viewers know that they are being compensated by the companies. I came across one that made many claims about a food and meal company that turned out to source many of their products from India and China, the soy was all GMO too. The company also had a post which made it seem that they were grown and made in Virginia even though they were not even based in Virginia, but they did source a couple of the items out of 100's from Virginia. If a person is being compensated and doesn't present that info, I like to vet the company that much more.
Are you surrounded by other's orchards and what looked like vineyard, or is that all yours? Looks like you enjoyed your anniversary... blessing to you both !!
I love your style of video. It's like you are letting us in on an intimate talk between you two. I just love it. Thankyou for taking time out of your life to share with us!
Beautifully filmed, poetically narrated. Thank you.
Gosh you and your husband have such soothing voices! I love listening to your videos. They just make my soul smile😊

What do you use einkorn for? Can you use it totally in place of all purpose flour?
There is a bit of a learning curve with einkorn but yes I use it in place of all purpose flour.

You are so beautiful xxxx ive seen 10 seconds of you but had to say. And i dream of being in a place in the world like you are. Itks magical.
Do you ever shop at Costco? Or is Azure your main bulk shopping?
