    5000 buds for 1kg of oil sounds... not right. Does it really yield that much? I would have expected 50000 buds at least for 1kg oil.

    So the oils are made and sold for very cheap but the second it goes over seas its mind boggling expensive why oh right greed.
    Coconuts come on really its ben picked younger and younger so now there small and not good tasting or no tast at all.
    Grow a king Coconut it grows without a husk and its just as big as Coconuts now and there sweeter then normal Coconuts.
    Also I remember when Coconuts where as big as 2 or 3 solf balls but now is rare to find 1 in the store thats bigger then 1 solf ball I'm in my 20s so it's not like decades have passed before this happened it was basically over night they start picking them sooner then normal.
    Roses just grow one there easy and hard to kill make soap bars at home with em or something.
    There is no reason to have fields of roses its a bush that can easily grow in a pot so just grow your own like we use to before technology stupidfyed the world.
    Palm oil is in dam nere in everything we eat like potatoe chips some kinds of hot sauce and much more like at least 90% of pre made foods have it in there.

      That mindset is stupid. That's like saying sand is sold cheap. But when it gets processed into tempered glass to be used in smartphones, it is suddenly expensive.
      A raw product is useless until processed, and people can have the right to price their work. Don't like it? Don't buy.

    If all of these items are so expensive, and take so much time, why not streamline the process with the money made, to ultimately make more money faster

    • @ArkAwaits
      @ArkAwaits 5 місяців тому +11

      because the people making them are usually poor, and when its companies doing it, its often a lot cheaper and more worth while to keep with the inefficient methods bc they dont have to pay the large upfront costs on machinery, farms, whatever and can make the price of whatever theyre selling go up bc of the labor of other people. but mostly its because these things are made by hand in smaller batches by people who will never be able to afford the costs of fancy machines and factories and such. take the shea butter ladies! they put in immense effort but the costs of more machinery to help them is out of reach for their group at the moment. its not like its feasible to use all or even most profits to buy such things bc people need food, clothes, shelter, you gotta buy soap and shoes and a new plate bc the kid broke one. yeah it would ultimately make them more money, assuming its as simple as one machine, but its usually not, and the long term gain of extra income isnt worth the hunger now

      The majority of the money does not go back to the farmers. They probably get less than 1/8 of the sale cost.

      @@ArkAwaitspeople have no idea how much capital is needed to buy machinery or renting a space and keep utilities going. Then it's millions in machinery investment to make more product. The op should be fronting them the loan so they can do faster work
