- Curtis and I went out to the Sacramento River in mid June to see if Stripers are still in our waterways. Well, they definitely are still around! Come join us on this awesome fishing trip.

I was there to the right on Friday evening, nothing but 3 shakers. 2 guys to my right got few shakers as well. I cast 1 rod farther out & another 1 closer.
Sounds like the season is winding down. I got plans for one more trip out there to see what happens so we will see.

If you saw the other comments, you are not alone in that. It 's hit or miss to find them in June, but there are some keepers out there.
What do you guys use for bait? I just loved to Sac.
We had pile worms on. They were the ticket for me this year.
This guy is still fishing for stripers 😂 I know places on the sac river to catch them in September too. Nice video! You make me want to target them right now but I fish for every species so it’s so hard to pick and choose where to fish especially with the little bit of time I have each week 😅
Alex, its pretty much dead now on the Sac River. Time to chase shad and crappies!

I’m going to fish in the Sac river around Isleton tomorrow for striper how do you think the heat will affect the fishing?
The heat will make fish less active during the day so focus on early morning or late evening fishing. Good Luck!

We used pile worms for bait and using the fish finder rig. I use this rig every time I fish at the river.

There are more and more of them small fish around as the weather gets warmer. Which spot were you fishing and when did you fish?
@@calloftheoutdoors8941 i believe i might have been right of ur spot more the area i was at was flatter
@@HangNFish If you were at the right of this spot then that spot is a little shallower and you would have had to cast further out to catch bigger size fish.
We got a bass, but no other bites

We were using pile worms. That is my go to for striped bass.

Its off of 50 on the West Sac side. I believe the exit is Jefferson Blvd.

We were using pile worms. They work great for stiped bass.
Looks like its by Broderick boat launch.
We are up that way, but more south by the baseball stadium.
