Great information, I didn't know a lot about the Shoals etc and been fishing in and around sac for 30 years. Luckily you didn't mention a few of my secret fishing spots.
Finally someone truly wanna help other fishermen in enjoying and having success in fishing. Thx! Sunrise and Harrington on American River are some good spot for shads.
Thanks for sharing Vincent! Searching UA-cam 99% of the videos only showing fisherman pulling in fish with no locations. I'm new to the area and fishing this will get me started!
Wow dude thank you so much for posting this, I’m a bit anti social, and new to the Sacramento area. I’m from Redding and knew all sorts of spots up there, but down here this is all new, and I hadn’t a clue where to go. Thank you brother.
Ive heard of a bunch of these places but bro the detail you put into sharing success with everyone.. MUCH APPRECIATED!!! Hopefully one day we can link up bro!
Thank you! I'm completely new to fishing and basically trying to learn everything from youtube as my main source. Going to try fishing around the sac metro area this year.
I really appreciate the information that shared here it was very informative and sounded sincere. I don’t get to fish as often as I would like to and therefore I don’t like waisting my time when I do. Keep up he good work and continue growing your following.
My son Bilal and I always get skunked fishing the dumb spots we go to. Thank you bro for helping us get better chances at catching some solid fish! Hope to fish with you some day bro. Just subbed fo life!!👍🏾✌🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Wow man...I never thought anyone would share fish spots....even people I know dont say....you're awesome...def got my sub and likes...🔥🚨🔥🚨🔥🚨🔥🚨🔥🚨🔥🚨🔥🚨🔥🚨🔥🚨
Vincent’s Fishing - another Wow! for you, Vincent. Much appreciated. New to the area. Should help immensely. Hey, any experience fishing where Elverta crossing and Sacramento River, Father River and Sacramento area.
If you decide to fish at Discovery, I highly recommend you catch and release. High levels of E Coli due to downtown forcing the homeless out now they're in the levee using the river as a bathroom along with needles and what not found along the river. All the other spots are dope tho you put me on a few i'll have to check out.
Thanks for the informative video. I just moved to area and this is exactly what I need. I'm also interested in catching Crappie and Smallies so if you have any info on where I can relax and catch a few of those as well, let me know. Thanks again and tight lines!
Crappies are hard to find here in sac you’ll have to go to the lakes like lake berryessa and Camache. But small mouths are plentiful in the sac river. Lake berryessa and the other lakes also have smallmouth. Thanks for watching
This man deserves so much creddit. Thank you man!!! Any recommendations for beginner spots? not fishing for anything in particular, just want a nice relaxing place to fish all day where i actually have a chance to catch something. Don't care what.
@@vinc8ntl8r Thanks man! I see about 15 fisherman every evening and morning (most get like 5 fish per). Believe they are getting shad right now? if you ever need a good spot for those, I guess that's my suggestion lol. Kinda near paradise beach, but more to the right as if you're going towards sac state.
GSDubz right now it’s pretty slow for Stripers. I say wait until spring that’s when they run to spawn. Check my vid on how to catch stripers that’ll help. Thanks for watching
Went to the first spot with brother and nephews only caught two baby stripers no salmon during that day. But me and my one other nephew saw a huge striper at the fork of the shore chasing baitfish. Can't believe the size of that thing it was too far for casting distance and didn't seem like it was interested in our bait.
Thanks for sharing!!!!!!!!!, and could you share some spots for catfish fishing? I have been a spot near sac airport, the catfish I caught were not big enough 😂😂😂,I would like to catch some bigger, other fish is fine.
Awesome video Vincent appreciate the good work you're doing. Do you mostly stick to the Sacramento side? Any tips on good spots on the lower American? I've hit a few different places and haven't seen much.
Thanks so much for this ! My dad and I have never fished in Sacramento and wanted to go after some striper. Going to head out this morning to one of your destinations. I Really appreciate you ! Is there a part two to this ?
Just located your site. A very informative and detailed video. What is the best months to fish for stripers? What is a good area for new fishers to try?
It's been sometime since I fished the Sacramento but how is the catfishingalong the banks? I'd like to dunk some bait with a brewski and a lawn chair pulled up next to the river
A you catch good catfish on the barge canal? I was thinking more so close to the bridge (which is right of the parking) would be a good spot if the channel cats are in there. I’ve also heard of nice size crappie being in there, would that area be good to catch those as well? Do you know how deep it is over there? Not the whole canal but more so the area to right of the parking lot by that bridge or over pass
Do you ever fish up near verona, near the confluence of sac and the feather? I want to start fishing the river and it's about the closest access point to my location but I'm not sure where to start
Where is the best spot to launch a kayak? I had my first job in West Sacramento 38 years ago, but did not fish because too busy working. Retired now and would like to come back and try some fishing.
Ronald McDonald I’m not too sure but any boat ramps. Search on google maps and search up “boat ramps” or “boat launch”. Or where ever you find sandy areas is another good spot.
There is a parking space there. Where you see the piles of gravel. And you can’t miss it. Sometimes you’ll see cars already parked there. Then up walk up and walk to the right. Until you see the wall and then walk down the levee. But I haven’t been there for a while. So if it’s closed just wait for them to be done with construction. Thanks for watching :)
You find any spots man? I visited a few of the park ponds today but didn't have much luck lol. Did see some very tiny fish though in them. I know the howe park has a couple decent bass I think? but not a lot. Only a couple.
I’m thinking you should use bait instead but if you want to throw lures throw a small to medium swimbait. Or a jerkbait. If your using bait use sardines. And stripers are biting best right now. Goodluck!
I’m not sure about the spots around that area. But check out my other video bank fishing spots on the Sacramento River I show some spots. Tight lines bro
scubatron 408 I’m not sure on fly fishing. But I think you can fly fish on the American river for trout and steel head. Or you can go into the upper sac river and there are some trout there. Sorry when I find some spots I’ll update ya 👍🏼
Subbed. Thanks bro. I'll be biking to these places. Will let you know what's up. By the way, early morning and early evening are the best times in general, correct for our area?
r g there is a size limit on stripers. Anything under 18 inches you cannot keep. But anything 18 inches and above for stripers you can keep. But for salmon you keep any size. Goodluck out there!
I would say there really is no difference. But that the American River is more shallower. And has a lot bigger stripers that hang in the American River. (Like 30+ inchers) but yeah thats the only difference. Glad I could help! Goodluck 🎣
Thanks, I was literally just looking at google maps satellite view to find a spot hours before this video. We are going to try sardines. Any suggestions for lures if we want to throw some?
not all heros wear capes sometimes they show you their fishing spots! good job man!
