I’ve seen Johnny perform Iris with other female artists but none of them can touch the magic performed between him & Avril, imo. Perfection right here & so beautifully done.

I love how Avril & Evan look quite nervous at first but then johnny gives them reassurance by playing with them, like playing guitar near Evan & bumped Avril playfully. After that evan plays guitar confidently & avril's tension eases a bit.

I wasn't familiar with Avril Lavrigne's signing and choices until now. I was in the military at the time and she seemed kind of pop. Thank you for sharing this. In my humbled opinion she has a lot of talent and heart.

Hearing Avril sing "Iris" is something... I can't specify but her voice is so beautiful that it makes me appreciate this song even more than I normally do. honestly I prefer this version much more to the original because she is one of my idols now and so I liked this one... can I call it a featuring? With Avril live.😍Then there's that brief hug, but it's tender and as a guy said in the comments "it's like seeing an older brother and a younger sister perform together" and as I don't know whether to call it an example or a comparison but it's nice to think this because it fits great.☺️
