Don’t you love being in the woods, the crisp chilly air scented with campfire smells. Like a natural warm blanket. So many memories of camping with family in the Cascades coming to me while watching this.

Just completed my drive from seattle vancouver banff last minth July, so epic scenic drive and the rocky mountain views, peaks, creeks, lakes, waterfalls etc...... Banff Downtown also nice town to stroll along

All on my list - so beautifully captured! Aaggh we have a dog, which means our hikes are always limited, so loved watching this. And the wildlife bridges 😍 oh I want to see one of those!

$20 Dollar View is also in reference to the $20 Canadian Dollar Bill that was in circulation between 1969 and 1979 featuring that beautiful view.

about the animal crossing, tour guide info when they built the high way it separated the national park into 2 so they made underground crossings but it became a trap for predators so they had to build overpass animal crossings so the animals won't be trapped. They have made everything possible for the animals to live naturally in the national park. Banff and Jasper area are beautiful.
I just went last week and am now seeing this! I did Devils Thumb (un marked trail past the Beehive) and it was very challenging. Proposed at the top!

In Banff now, did the Lake Louise to Mirror Lake to the tea house and Agnes Lake then the Big Beehive and Devil’s Thumb then to the Plane of Five Glaciers and back, wonderful hike. Thanks for the recommendation!

Moraine lake is called the $20 view because it used to be on the back of the $20 bill. It's no longer on their after the bill was redesigned.

@@SammyandTommy ---- It was on Canada's $20 bill from 1969 to about 1989. The "$20 View" is a typically humble "Canadian Parody" of the phrase "Million Dollar View" which is often used for "views" a fraction of the natural artistry of Moraine Lake.

Banff National Park is Canada's busiest NP. It has about 3 million visitors a year! And the expression "the $20 dollar view" for Moraine Lake, is from the 1969 Canadian $20 Bill, which has the view of Moraine Lake and the (Valley of) Ten Peaks on the reverse side.

We’re planning a trip to Banff soon and this was so helpful - thank you! I also have a ‘what are you wearing’ question 😆- who makes the black puffer you’re wearing? I like it’s boxy shape (as opposed to the narrower cuts).

In nature, nothing is perfect and everything is perfect. Trees can be contorted, bent in weird ways, and they're still beautiful. -Alice Walker.. my hype levels just went from 10 to 100 right away, absolutely incredible no doubt about it, sacrificing sleep and waking early just to get a car spot for the $20 view is worth it, my jaw just dropped on how beautiful it really is.. thank you my friends for sharing this wonderful masterpiece, ive been to Canada to catch the northern lights but I need to go back asap to check out everything else in between. I have got so many great ides on places to visit because of you guys.. ps Tommy brother that hair is so luscious same goes with the beard I kinda dig it, suits you in a good way.. the more i think about it the more you look like Jake Gyllenhaal.. 👍

On current Forums it is stated that Moraine Lake parking is FULL at 2:30AM. Please clarify when you were there. I do not want to be disappointed because of outdated information Thanks!
Yes it is from September 2021. It is much busier now because it is still summer. In September it slows down some.
