Great breakdown! I pretty much agree with the whole list and order too. I started my journey with bourbon, scotch, gin and vodka maybe 5 years ago and now have a 40+bottle home bar (I think 15 of them are rums 😂) Nowadays the vodka pretty much stays on the shelf untouched, but it's nice to have for unexperienced guests. I'm curious, what do you think is "too long" to keep your vermouth/aromatized wine in the fridge after opening? Also noticed, no Sherry on the list?😯
You’re right! I forgot Sherry 🤣… it probably would have been the next one! (#25) For fortified wines, they officially say refrigerate 1 to 3 months after opening. I’ve easily done double that 🤣🤦♂️ and honestly haven’t noticed a significant difference… I did leave a sweet vermouth once for over a year (forgot about it 🤦♂️) and that one did have a strong vinegar taste afterwards
I'd be interested in seeing a Cocchi Americano or Kina l'Aéro d'Or clone on your channel, since that's something I can't find within my dietary restrictions
