Welcome to Mixology Flaired University. Hey everyone, Let me be honest. You’re not going to recognize our face but, you might recognize our hands from some of the stunts we have done on some of your favorite major networks like ABC, Hulu, Netflix and FOX (yes, that’s us in the daisy dukes!) where we were blessed to work alongside amazing actors and help them to become camera-ready bartenders in 1 day or less.
Over the last decade the principal bartenders at Mixology Flaired have traveled the world to design cocktails for major brands, be featured in mainstream music videos, national commercials, TV shows and also seen mingling with Hollywoods elite A-list of celebrities and influencers.
In our Members Only program we will show you a few simple tricks and proven techniques to generate an extra $5k-$10k as a professional bartender in the “new era of hospitality” just like we have. Click below to find out more: mixologyflaired.com/mfu

I'd add Blue Curacao to the list. Blue Lagoon on a hot summer day is a godsend.
Great work man! Knowledge is power. Really appreciated your work and learned things from you ;)
This is perfect for me!
Can you please go over how long all the stuff lasts after being opened / used
I hope you had a change to catch the shorts on that topic
I looked through so many shorts to find it but no luck

I live 1.5hrs from Bundaberg where "Bundy" ginger beer is made. It is a phenominal drink.

Wow this video is absolutely amazing! 👏👏
Hi Riley. Thanks so much for watching. I appreciate you in the community
Thank you very much for this video.
It's basically a 101 tutorial about drinks.
Hey caren. Thanks for watching. I hope it helps you get started
I’m going to be real with you I’ve been using 2 different sized solo cups as shakers for a while and it’s worked just fine so far. The jigger has been nice to have and the strainers are a must. As for the ice I prefer ice balls in all my cocktails….. I have molds. And my selection of drinks is probably severely excessive by most standard. And everything else mentioned I keep on hand. Also a good torch and cocktail chimney smoker are incredible for mixing up what you can do! Oh and if you lift and have enough grip strength and wash your hands frequently you don’t need a juicer either but I keep one since some people aren’t comfortable with that lol
*if you lift! 🤣
Beautiful sir
great!
An amazing video! The content has been amazing
Tha is for watching Andrew
So informative!!! Well done
Let me know if you use any of the techniques
Great video. I enjoyed watching. Hope i can have one😊. God bless and more power.
You hit the nail on the head with ginger beer v ale. Our Aussie Bundy Ginger Beer is the best.
love the Bundy! Thanks for watching
🎉 head explosion 💥. This is too much to impress my friends 😅.
Thanks bro for the tips 🤠
Pick 1 thing every weekend. Your friends will think you’re a boss
Great video. Thanks
Thanks for watching Dennis. Really appreciate it.
Great video, thanks🥰 Measuring devises are messy buissiness, i just place the glass or container ontop my scale for convenience👍
That works too
You have power over your mind not outside events. Realize this, and you will find strength.
pepsi is better in some cocktails, fight me
Solid video
I appreciate you watching it Joe
great video... Love the explanations... I use the OXO Steel Double Jiggers... a stainless steel double jigger that measures 1/3 oz, 3/4 oz and 1 1/2 oz (a jigger), while the other side measures 1/4 oz, 1/2 oz and 1 oz and amazing soft grip...
great tips on the tools and types of spirits and liquors,
smart tips on the Ice, glassware, Juices
i love to add
- ginger juice
- 1:1 syrup(water/sugat), 1:1.5 Syrup, 1:2 syrup, 1:2,5 Syrup and 1:3 syrup
They way you make syrup/fruit syrups defines the acidity, umami, saline, bitter and sweet components of tast, color and smell of your cocktail... it can enhance your cocktail... or not
You might want to try the Japanese style jiggers 1/4 a 2oz. Not many cocktail recipes call for 1/3oz
What others think is not important. How you feel about yourself is all that matters.
What torch do you use?

This was intense 😂🍸cheers
Hope that you still enjoyed it.😁
@@MIXOLOGYFLAIRED I did..! I'm going shopping today 😁
Would love a PDF of all the starter stuff you recommend and also info on when things expire after opened.
How much would you be willing to pay for something like like? Just curious.😁
Also you need mug for hot chocolate drinks peppermint liquor for mint hot chocolate and salty liquorice vodka you can make it yourself greetings from finland
Where did you get those bottles
Love to see the bundy ginger beer making an appearance
Mallet and ice saw 😂
We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.
I didn’t see the link for, some of the items.
Are we building a home bar or a full restaurant bar lol 😂. Don't need most of this for making drinks at home (ex. Speed pourers (especially this, gnats love to nest in these), tourch, bar blade, ice tonges, bar naps etc.).
Just listing many different options for the viewer to choose. If the home bartender decides to host a party for 10 friends, they might want a speed pour to make life easy. Most will clean up at the end of the night and put a cap back on the bottle. Don’t overthink it. Use the tools you want
Well done! Where did you buy that little ice ball making machine?
here you go my friend. thanks for watching. amzn.to/3Jgb8Gm
Some of those are not working everywhere. For example, weather was never, and it still isn’t working in Poland, flight information is barely working here, more like an error if it does 😅
Pepsi is garbage period lol... but yea 100% pepsi is TRASH in cocktails. Subscribed purely because you mentioned Boulevardiers - my fav drink, especially in the winter...most people I know have never heard of it but it's become the drink of choice at my family's annual steak dinner for pre-dinner drinks... usually get it with woodford reserve.

Hello well 😊said
What about just putting the water in a vacuum chamber when cold but not quite frozen?
We have never tried that method but would be interested in what you find out. Let us know
That will freeze water, but at the same time it will also boil water, so end result is you'll get bubbles anyway.
@@Quintinohthree If it boils and all the air is evacuated there would be no air. If it freezed after that even though not cold enough to freeze, the air would be gone. How would you get air bubbles in something with no air?
@@neophytealpha Not air bubbles, water vapor bubbles, which will eventually freeze extremely irregularly, leaving extremely cloudy ice filled with vacuum bubbles, extremely brittle and low density.
I've made water ice in a rotovap collection flask (over ether), so believe me, I know what I'm talking about.
@@Quintinohthree Seriously, stop. Not freezing in there, just using it to evacuate air. Even some people who cast do that.
Quitters never win and winners never quit.
pepsi's so much better in cocktails than coca cola, especially when whisky is involved
You are simply out of your mind 🤯
I'll do you one crazier. The sugar free pepsi seems even more balanced. It could be that our disagreement comes from me drinking the EU soda formulations all my life, i'm now thinking. But yes, over here i feel like coca cola drowns out a whisky's nuances while pepsi supports them
@@Dafoodmaster I can see that as a good point. The American formulation in a can is waaay different than the Mexican in a glass bottle. But I would still never use Pepsi in a Long Island or rum/coke…hence the name. Our consultations with restaurants always try to convince them to use the single serve glass bottles for cocktails
fair fair, the stuff in glass is better here too, i think (might be placebo in some cases here though).
guess i'll just have to visit the state some time. Oh btw just curious - what are your favorite whiskies for a whisky cola, or neat?
I tried to buy everything in this video, but I ran out of money before it got to any alchohol
I’m the one scotch on the rocks.
Love bundaberg, personally not a huge fan of fever tree! Especially not their ginger beer.
I’ll take the bundy all day
@@MIXOLOGYFLAIRED I lived in England for 5 months for study abroad and they use fever tree for everything and it was hell LMAO
I want to do it and i dont even drink lol
Make fancy lemonades
Failure is the opportunity to begin again more intelligently.
The main rule of home bar: do not talk about your home bar. Otherwise it won’t lasts for a second party
Zero/Diet coke or pepsi for diabetics!
You don’t need 10 bottles at the beginning. Your are not opening a bar. Just buy the bottles for the cocktail that you like. Then buy more for another cocktail. Your friend will drink the cocktails that You choose to do. I now have around 40 spirits and liquor bottles but don’t have Tequila or Campari bottles because I don’t like them. Your are not a bar. Do what you want.
Hey Paul. youre right, build your collection over time and within your budget for the month. maybe get some tequila and Campari to host friends that might like cocktails with them. thanks for watching!
Too much to buy. I would never offer that much alternatives.
I recommend just one thing each month. Slowly build it up over time. It took me 20 yrs to get my gear
That muddler looks sus
All I got to say is if you're going to go through all this trouble to make clear perfect ice cubes for a f****** home bar you've got bigger issues than just having clear ice!
Possibly a bit of a perfectionist. Thanks for watching.
God forbid you go through some effort to have a bit of fun and entertain yourself and your guests. You don't seem like the kind of person who has to worry about guests, though. 🤣
I love your speed combined with clarity. Thank you. Cheers!
Anytime Dude! Thanks for watching my friend🤙
